Muy mala experiencia, sentimiento de robo y violación de intimidad.

La primera impresión no fue mala a pesar del olor a tubería. La habitación estaba limpia y teníamos una terraza con vistas al mar, aunque el parking y la carretera está en frente por lo que hay mucho ruido. El responsable te hace una fotocopia de tu tarjeta de crédito. Nunca vi que este documento se destruyera y obviamente por los intentos de cargo no fue así… Lo que más nos ha decepcionado del establecimiento es el intento de robo por parte del propietario y sacar ventaja de las circunstancias. Era nuestro último día de vacaciones, nuestros familiares literalmente de 65 años vinieron a visitarnos por sorpresa trayéndonos cena . Disfrutamos de la terraza por alrededor de hora y media: 7pm y 35 grados. Dos de nuestros familiares no se encontraban muy bien después de todo el día y tomamos prestadas algunas sillas sin ninguna mala fe, y sin darnos cuenta de que esto tendría repercusión. No había ningún huésped en la habitación complementaria, la primera parte de nuestro apartado estaba separado por un cordón, ningún escrito, cartel, nada, como indico sin ninguna mala fe y sin generar nada de ruido…y habiendo pidiendo disculpas por el mal entendido pues realmente no sabíamos que estábamos haciendo algo malo. Independientemente de lo mencionado, el responsable decidió directamente intentar hacernos un cargo de 350€ sin previo aviso hasta el dia hoy, e intentando cargarnos otras montos de dinero a nuestra tarjeta que nada tiene que ver con 350€.... Para terminar, en nuestro check out el dueño nos indicó que tenía cámaras en la terraza, algo totalmente inconcebible y totalmente una violación de la intimidad, esto es gravísimo. Muy mala experiencia, totalmente sentimiento de intento de robo y violación de intimidad. Nos estropeó totalmente nuestra experiencia en Amalfi. No lo recomiendo a nadie. No vale la pena lidiar con algo así cuando lo único que se quieres es intentar pasar una estancia tranquila y sentirse a gusto.

Friendly staff and perfect location for the Amalfi Coast trip we took!

The owner went above and beyond to meet us at the ferry port and share all of his recommendations with us for restaurants, places to shop and beaches to go to! He was super friendly. The location was ideal, view was great and room was super clean!

The restaurant down below the suites ended up blasting music at 2:30a.m. one of the nights and woke us up.

Loved Core Amalfitano City Suites. Loved Amalfi.

The apartment was better than expected. The photos don't do it justice and it felt more luxurious and comfortable than the photos suggested.

The entrance was off a busy main road, without any footpaths.

Amazing balance of location and price

You can’t get a better location in Amalfi for this price. It’s overlooking the water and super close to the main tourist areas and taxi/bus pickup points. The staff is able to be very attentive due to the small size of the hotel. They booked us private transfer to and from Naples for our stay

There isn’t always someone at reception (but when we locked ourselves out they let us into our room remotely with just a phone call)

Great choice for a trip to Amalfi.

The location was amazing. Room was spacious and very clean. The room was amazingly sound-proof, considering it was just above the main road with buses and cars below.

Little scary walking in/out the front of the hotel - with traffic going past.

good location though access to hotel was via a busy main road. No need to climb flights of stairs to get to the property. Huge room with very good amenities and facilities. Good view of Amalfi town. Very close to town center. It was nice of Assunta to meet us in the Piazza to bring us to the hotel.

Get pampered in the heart of Amalfi!

What a beautiful boutique hotel centrally located in the heart of the Amalfi marina! Luigi was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and posh. The beds were comfy. The large jacuzzi bath was a treat! We felt very pampered at this gem in Amalfi!

Finding and getting to the main entrance of the hotel was a challenge. It’s inside a tunnel on a main road, so looking out for speeding cars is a realty. But we made the most of it and it became one of the charms of visiting Amalfi. :)

Please with our short stay.

We had a comped breakfast at Amalfi Termini just at the bottom of the steps from our hotel and it was terrific. Not normally included with the room, but a nicely diverse menu of options was available with all different Italian coffees and bread to accompany. We had a terrific ham and cheese omelete, which was terriffic.

We had some difficulty with the temperature control of the hot tub where it would not get above 26 degrees from the heater alone even when jets were on and circulating the water. I looked up the user manual from the manufacturer and performed all recommended procedures to reset the tub and make sure it was out of rest mode -- but was not to be. Such a beautiful HUGE tub though -- comfortably fits two grown adults laying down side by side. We improvised and used the shower and tub wands to add full hot water while circulating the jets and this brought the temp up to something comfortable after 15 minutes or so. The owner was informed and comped us with free Italian breakfast vouchers, assuring they will have the heater checked before the next occupants.

friendly helpful staff views out of the room were great! very close to the action, lots of restaurants and bars nearby

we drove and needed parking - this cost 35 euros for the night through the hotel and would of been nice if this was made clear prior to arriving. hotel front door is on a very busy area of the main road which made navigating with (large) suitcases abit difficult! rooms didn’t seem to have much noise isolation, could hear phone ringing in reception frequently.

nice place, great location. loved having access to a balcony

the concierge desk is right out side the rooms, and they are very loud. impossible to sleep in past 8am. Also, I let them know the tv didn’t turn on, staff said they were aware. they later accused me of breaking it. not impressed especially at such a high price
