Property is excellently located for walking the entire downtown area. Host was responsive and property was clean and perfect for our group. Layout is a little quirky. One bedroom is upstairs with half bath. Overall, would recommend this property for a weekend in Nashville!

We stayed here over Christmas. The Nest was decorated very tastefully for the holiday, which we enjoyed. The only complaints we had were the front door- we wished it offered more security, and that that the interior doors would stick, thankfully our children are heavy sleepers so it didn’t bother them. The house stayed incredibly toasty, and was very clean- I didn’t notice any dust! Communication was pleasant and prompt. Thank you to David and family for letting our family (5) enjoy our Christmas vacation!

We are long time college friends who stayed for two nights. We found the house clean and comfortable. We stayed during the first week of December and appreciated the pretty Christmas decor! The house is in a very convenient location for walking to shops and restaurants. It’s nice to be able toWe plan to return.

Nestled in town within walking distance to everything. Spacious open concept for group gathering with very comfortable bed and bath accommodations too. The Property Managers communicated very well and provided everything we needed for easy access and a relaxing week exploring Nashville, IN.

Perfect location to the downtown shops and a short distance to walk. Parking for 4 vehicles. Lots of space in the home and extra touches to make you feel welcomed. David was an excellent host. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back to stay!

Perfect location in Nashville, Indiana. Once we arrived, didn't have to use the cars at all. Everything within walking distance. Took the Nashville Train and learned the history of the town as well as shown other places of interest that we were not aware of even though we've been to Nashville several times over the years. Can't wait to come again!

David was super at communicating. There was plenty of seating in living room to visit, and we were able to park and walk everywhere we wanted to go for the day and evening. Everyone slept very well and appreciated the coffee supplies this morning. We are hoping to return with more family soon.

They've done a great job of putting a fresh, clean face on an older home while still keeping it's character and charm. It was very clean and spacious. AC worked very well! The owner was kind, personable and accommodating for our spur of the moment getaway. We are already planning a trip back to stay at the property longer!!

A good friend of mine and I are huge Jackson Browne fans and were looking for a close place to stay near the venue. We had planned to simply stay at a hotel, but came across this instead and was glad we did.
Much more comfortable and conducive for visiting and catching up before the concert.

The home was within easy walking distance to downtown Nashville. There were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate 6 women. The home was clean. The beds were comfortable. It is an older home, so the stairs are steep and narrow, so use caution for older guests. Still, it was an ideal vacation getaway for my sisters and me. We would definitely stay there again!

Love how you turned an old house into such a beautiful Place. The only thing I would suggest is that you have some air air freshener upstairs. It smells like an old house up there.

We were staying for my son's wedding, being held about 15 minutes north of Nashville. The location and the amenities were perfect for entertaining our friends. This was one of the best VRBO placements we have experienced to date.

Great Location. Was perfect place to meet up with a group of 7 girlfriends for the weekend. Everything was walkable - winery-food- shops- the playhouse. Definitely will be back!

We loved our stay. The furnace quit working, and the host worked really hard to get maintenance there in a timely manner to remedy the situation.

This is the fourth year our group has used this house for a girls' trip/scrapbooking weekend. The house is spacious, with lots of room for our group (5 this year). We were happy to see the updates in two of the bathrooms this year. We had no problems with the old bathrooms, but the upgrades are really nice! The new countertops in the kitchen are beautiful, too! The house is right in the middle of downtown Nashville and central to everything. It really is perfect! We will be back next year!

Nice place for our girl’s weekend. Self checkin and out (keypad entrance). Big open area with huge kitchen island and a dining room table large enough to seat 8. Table has severe water marks and needs to be refinished and treated. Nice large living room area with comfortable sofas and recliners. There’s no dishwasher and limited dishes so plan to use paper plates and bowls. Front bedroom was very cold but if you close the vent in the master bedroom, it helps. Coffee maker but no Keurig. Ice maker didn’t work. It took awhile to get hot water front the kitchen faucet. No fun having to wash dishes. Nice big porch/deck. Be careful walking out the front door. Light figures are low and friends hit their heads a couple times. Master bathroom floor had no rug and the floor was freezing. Had to move the rug in the shower area back and forth. Hall bathroom was convenient but the tub sticks out far. Can’t stand directly in front of the sink to wash your hands. Kind of weird. Has some quirks but its large and convenient. I would stay there again.

The house was fantastic for our's and friend's New Year celebration. Close walking distance to everything and the provided parking is fantastic (this can be a real asset in busy season). The house is an interesting place that has gone through many different life's in Nashville. We will definitely choose this again for any future trip to Brown County. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for the hospitality!

It’s an absolutely ideal location to be close to everything downtown Nashville has to offer. However, we have stayed in a lot of places, and this home felt a little like a project home. Missing doors to rooms, cabinets on toddler level with no cabinet doors (not super ideal), etc. The improvements that have been made to the home didn’t seem to have a high level of attention to detail to them. We enjoyed our stay, but will probably find a new spot for our next visit.

We stayed with family for thanksgiving and the home was a great layout for us all to be together for meals, games and visiting.
Only thing I would say is the beds are very stiff- which was difficult for my mother in law.
Otherwise- it was great. Great location and had everything we needed.

I made the arrangements for this trip for myself and five other women. Everyone was happily surprised at how nice it was - spacious and just steps to restaurants and shopping. A couple of minor issues (light not working) were addressed immediately.

The house is really nice, great location to walk the town of little naahville, close to everything. Nice having a bathroom in every room, but if you sleep upstairs not door to living room or sleeping for kids or guest, so no private time if someone or kids sleep upstairs with you. But couch up stairs is nice easy to pull out. Owner needs better towels and we stayed 2 nights we should of received 2 towels per person. But next time I'm bring my own. Everything was great. We had a great time. Maybe add a couple more chairs in downstairs living room in open space for seating for 8 people, but we made it work. Thanks Dave you and the cleaning person was great. Dave responded ASAP when we texted him and he had towels there when we arrived back. But thank you Dave..

We had a great time! The house is right in the middle of Nashville. Close to shops and restaurants. The Nest was just that! Comfy and had everything we needed.

We parked at The Nest and never moved the car until we left. The house was clean and comfortable. The layout is a little strange and finding light switches was challenging. The kitchen was not as well equipped as other places we have stayed. No dishwasher which wasn’t a big problem. The upstairs is not good for anyone who has trouble negotiating stairs as they are steep and narrow. All in all, the place was satisfactory and the location couldn’t be better. A good value for the price.
