Я никогда не жила в доме, где на первом этаже ремонтная мастерская машин. Это не аппартаменты, а обычная квартира и каждые 3 дня меняются новые люди.
В самой квартире очень грязно, начиная от плиты, где все поверхности очень липкие, заканчивая ванной комнатой. Уже молчу, что за 7 ночей не поменяли серое постельное белье. Уборки не было от слова совсем, а балкон был вообще грязный. Квартире требуется ремонт. Еще была проблема с замком входной двери- мы каждый вечер открывали дверь с трудом… боясь , что не попадём внутрь. Я на знаю, кто писал положительные отзывы?

The apartment was excellent, exactly as described. It is not luxury, but a cosy family home. For me, it was perfect. Classical style and furniture, it was authentic. Very roomy. For breakfast I got eggs, cheese, jam, bread, coffee and I could serve myself. The host was very helpful, even when my flight was delayed and I arrived very late. She kept me up to date with travel information from the airport and was kind to ask me if I need anything and if I am satisfied multiple times. Would reccomand.
The only negative was that the room was a bit cold. I was in january, and the AC took a while to heat up the room and had to be on all night. It surely is not a problem if you are not travelling ing the winter

L'alloggio è stato come da descrizione, in una buona posizione, ulita e ad un buon prezzo.
Sicuramente non si può non apprezzare la gentilezza di Laura, sempre presente al bisogno.

L'unica cosa che ho notato è lo scaldabagno che impiega un po' ad arrivare a temperatura e l'acqua finisce relativamente presto, ma sinceramente trovo la cosa trascurabile; basta fare una normale doccia di 10/15 minuti e non ci sono problemi

I enjoyed being in a home-like environment. This is more for independent travellers happy to have a Bari experience rather than a touristic or flash experience

The location is the only good thing in this apartment.
- Mouldy and rusty bathroom, very unsanitary
- Dust everywhere in the apartment, looked like it did not get clean since the 30's
- A part of the bed was broken.
- Only three light bulbs of the chandelier worked so very little light
Thanks God the lady allowed us a check out at 11am because it was between 9:00 and 9:30 but it is ridiculously early. The check in time was also settled in advance but the host changed for an earlier time even though we were traveling and of course couldn't make it.
The price for what you get is very expensive. I wouldn't recommend anybody to come to this apartment. We wished we could go anywhere else but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

Laura, the owner, is very kind and helpful. She arranged to meet me and arrived exactly when it suited me even though I had an evening flight. She brought fresh supplies for breakfast (e.g. cheese, eggs, juices, bread, water, jam, snacks). The water in the bathroom is hot (boiler), the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, the whole apartment is large, the room is spacious, equipped with air conditioning.
The price is not high compared to other offers, the location is great, and the owner is kind. I think that should be appreciated.
I was a bit unlucky, most likely there were no other guests before me for some time and the apartment was just cold. There is an air conditioning unit in the room but poorly efficient. There are some shortcomings when it comes to cleanliness (the curtains would be worth washing).

The apartment is big and nice, consists of 2 rooms, bathroom and kitchen. During my stay there was a stranger in the second room, but the apartment is so big that I didn't feel it at all. My room and the apartment were really clean and quiet. Laura is very nice and helpful person. If I come back to Bari I will definitely choose Sweet Home again.

It is a spacious apartment! The host was very helpful. She contacted me directly on Whatsapp and waited for us even though it was almost midnight when we arrived. She even talked with the driver of the bus to stop in a place where we had to walk a few minutes less because we were with small children. There was a double bed and an extra bed in both rooms which was needed in our case. The rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment which gives you privacy. One group should book the apartment. You have a lot of possibilities for public transport. It is ideal for a city break of a few days visiting Bari, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, etc.
It was what we expected: an old apartment with old furniture, but the price was also for such an apartment.

Very spacious room with old-world charm - marble floors and some nice antiques among the furniture. Even a balcony. Well-equipped kitchen. Good location close to the old town. The owner was kind enough to let me put my luggage into the hallway till the next afternoon so I was able to explore Bari unburdened.
I had to wait for the person with the key a bit - though my train was also somewhat early. The doors off one closet fell off when I wanted to open it.

The host, Laura, was very nice and helpful. She gave me all the instructions on how to get from the airport to the flat, which helped me a lot.
The check in was well organized and the room nice and clean. There is even a balcony to enjoy :)
There is a coffee machine and food in the fridge for breakfast.
Also, the apartment is in the city center, 15min away walking from the old Bari. It is the perfect location

I want to thank Laura tough I did not meet her for a great stay in her house. The room is huge and has balcony. the furniture has a romantic touch with old pieces that make you feel in the heydays of the past. kitchen was very well supplied though i did nnot know howmto use the stove and gas. I highly recommend ths sweet home which left me with an extra sweet stay of beautiful and authentic bari and the amazing surrounding area. I WILL RETURN
The shower pressure for hot water was very low but I managed....

Laura is really nice and super helpful! Room localization is perfect especially if you want to travel to other cities (close to central station) and it’s also a walking distance from the old city.

Location is great, it's very secure and immaculately clean. The place has a lot of character and within 10 mins you're in town. Coffee great, plenty of things for breakfast, near shops and handy for train & bus. Owner is very, very helpful.
This is actually not a criticism, but some people may find the furnishings to be a little dated but that also contributed to the charm of the original fittings etc.,

The property manager kept in constant contact asking if she could help in any way. A refrigerator was supplied full of large bottles of water, marmalades and everything you would need. Also a coffee machine with nice Lavazza coffee and some breakfast breads. The room was decorate with elegance and the coffee tasted better because of the balconies vibes. The location was close to old town and lots of attractions and also featured some cheaper and better eateries and stores. If I had to complain I would say the property was too big and that is not really a complaint. I normally don't write reviews, I just rate but this place deserves it.

It is a large comfortable and traditional apartment, arranged to Italian urban style, with two bedrooms and a shared kitchen, dining room and bathroom, all spacious and reasonably equipped. Bedrooms are located at two opposite ends of the apartment, so there is enough privacy even if you share the apartment with someone unknown (we've travelled with friends, so it was no problem at all). Both bedrooms have their own air conditioner. The host is super-friendly and helpful (Laura, thanks again!). Breakfast there in fact means you have the kitchen pre-loaded with food, so you can arrange it as you like.
The location is good - 10 mins slow walk to bus stop (line 16 to airport), or about 20-25 mins to Central Station. The area is quiet (as quiet as an Italian city can be :) ), with no restaurants or other noisy facilities in the closest neighbourhood.
I'd definitely stay there again.

Laura is an amazing host! We had some issues on our way, and she willingly helped us out. Truly an incredible woman, very attentive and hospitable.
The flat is very authentic. You know, those Italian movies with old historical sofas, golden mirrors, and stuff? That's the one. The flat is very big, there's another room for rent as well, but e barely saw our neighbor, so it's not an issue at all. The kitchen has lots of things for cooking, you can easily eat in the flat. There are lots of supermarkets nearby where you can buy delicious tomatoes, local pasta, and beef sausages.
Laura provided us with some basic Italian breakfast: bread, jams, coffee, juices. It was very nice. She pays a lot of attention to the flat, so it's clean and tidy. There are about 20 cats living in the yard, and so when you have breakfast in the kitchen, you can look outside from the window and observe some cat wildlife :D
We both worked at the time, so Wi-Fi was very important to us. The signal was alright, we could have had video calls and work. Our room had a little balcony, which was great for working outside. Thanks to Laura for hosting us!
Our windows looked out on the street, so sometimes it was a little noisy outside. Also, the hot water was sometimes not very hot, but if you wait a couple of minutes it would get hotter in the boiler. Plus at the moment the washing machine was off, but I guess it should be alright now — Laura said she's getting it fixed.
