Welcome to your one-of-a-kind, private lakefront retreat! This new construction lake lodge was built in 2016 and will show you what north Idaho has to offer! Located on the sunny side of Bottle Bay, enjoy a private dock with views of Schweitzer mountain. Take in amazing Lake Pend Oreille with floor-to-ceiling windows. Bask in the sun on the large deck or from the private dock. The property is conveniently located across from Bottle Bay Marina, which offers dining, boat/kayak rentals, gas, and a boat launch. The beautiful, lively town of Sandpoint is close by (25 minutes by car or 15 by boat). Also, check out the many restaurants on Lake Pend Oreille's shores!
This house has unique features throughout. The custom kitchen table, bathroom countertops, and fireplace mantle were hand-crafted out of trees from the property that were removed for the build. Knotty alder and pine finishes will make you feel right at home in north Idaho! Enjoy a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with well-stocked wood storage, an open timber staircase leading to a large loft, and a room of built-in bunk beds that will wow you!
The house offers plenty of space for a large group or will cozily accommodate a smaller group as well. The house sleeps 10 in beds, with an optional air bed if needed. The maximum occupancy is 10 people. Bedrooms include:
-Master suite: King bed, his and hers closets, and attached master bath
-Spare bedroom: King bed and double closets
-Large bunk room: Custom built-in bunk beds--two twin extra-long beds over two full extra-long beds, able to sleep children or adults
-Large loft: Perfect for additional sleeping bags or air mattresses (For your convenience, we provide one queen-sized air mattress and bedding. This is not included in the above stated "sleeps 10.")

Our second 4 generational stay. The house is not just comfortable its everything we could want in a family retreat. The weather cooled from 80s to 60s and it's still T Shirt weather because of the humidity. PLEASE! If you see anything other than a 5 š review, consider that this is a BEAUTIFUL Lake House on the Sunny end of Bottle Bay in Northern Idaho. It isn't a Hotel parked next to a Shopping Mall.š Well stocked & very clean (I spent 25 years training cleaning staff & know where to look) there may be a more responsive Host than Jennifer
but they're probably not on this Planet. The Dock & Water Sports Equipment are all an added plus. If you STOP looking and stay here you'll be glad you did š

I stayed at this property with my cousins, sister, niece and daughters for a family girls weekend and had the absolute best time!! The house had tons of activities including kayaking and paddleboarding and was well stocked with everything we needed! They even had a counter top ice maker that came in extremely handy during our stay! The location of the house is perfect on a very sunny side of the lake! It was so gorgeous, we hardly ever left the house other than to boat on the lake! Would definitely recommend this house for your stay on Lake Pend Oreille!

My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. The cabin is amazing inside and out. It was stocked with everyting we needed for our stay. Beautiful views of the lake. We had fun fishing off the dock. We also rented a boat from the marina across the bay and had a good time exploring the lake. Definitely recommend!

Our family and friends loved our stay at Copper Cabin! The house was clean, well-stocked, nicely appointed, and beautifully located. The location on Bottle Bay is on the sunny side. Lots of afternoon light was perfect for fabulous evenings on the water. The host was easy to communicate with and went above-and-beyond what was necessary to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. We came to the cabin for a long weekend over New Years, and had the best time. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and the kitchen is better stocked than most rentals Iāve been in. The owner was communicative, and thoughtful. Since we had folks staying in the loft upstairs, they set out an air mattress for us. They also plowed the driveway so that we could fit all the cars. It was the perfect weekend!

We loved staying at Copper Cabin. Everything was new and clean, and it was well stocked. Loved being right on the lake with a dock for our boat. Bottle bay is a nice quiet, calm bay with the marina across the bay for gas. We would definitely stay again!

Nice but a bit short of what we expected
The dock is nice and provides 4 chairs to enjoy the lake. The house wasn't well stocked with toiletries and the pots and pans are not of the quality that you would expect at this price point. The TV is located upstairs and does not have cable or satellite. The house was well located and has a nice patio, neighbors were all nice as well. Not sure it was worth the price but overall a nice home.

Fun family trip
Stay was beautiful and house was great. The kids room was very much enjoyed by every child. Only thing to be aware of is a tiny road only wide enough for 1 vehicle (may get in a situation if opposite traveling vehicle comes along like did with us) and steep parking in winter if extra parking is snowed in. We enjoyed the stay and may try it again in warmer weather.

Bunk room was well loved, owner was super responsive to any questions, kitchen was fully stocked right down to an instant pot (didnāt need to bring mine after all!) and blendtec blenderā¦ really this place was truly wonderful and weāve stayed at ALOT of VRBO rentals. We had 7 people- 5 kids and two parents and there was room enough for all. House is well laid out- kitchen table/ island is unique and super awesome for dinners and games, bunk space super comfy and the shuffleboard table was a hit as well. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations! We would recommend to anyone!

Stunning time on the lake
Well, I must admit I do my research on a home before we book vacations and once again the owners and this home did not disappoint. The home was stunning and the owners were great to work with. We skied all week and it is a bit further drive time than I thought to Schweitzer (27 miles, one hour drive) but that does not out weigh the solitude and beauty of the lake, surroundings and home itself. I cannot fathom what this place is like in the summer! Great home, great hosts. Many thanks. Brian

Beautiful, spotless cabin!
This cabin is outstanding! We stayed as a family of 3, but the cabin's great layout would work for both a small family as well as multiple families. We have visited this part of N. Idaho every New Years for the past few years and this is our best rental yet.
The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, has a well-equipped kitchen and baths, and a stunning view. The furniture and beds were all in great condition and very comfortable (vs. the often tired furnishings of other rentals), and the house was spotless. We spent the vast majority of our time at the cabin cooking and baking in the kitchen, playing with our daughter in front of the fire, exploring the bunk room, and the side yard has the perfect sledding hill for young kids! It had everything we needed for a week away in the snow.
The owner was also very responsive throughout booking and when I reached out with a few minor questions during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Cutest lake house
This place is the cutest lake house, plenty of room, plenty of things to do with the kayaks and paddle board. The dock is super nice and a nice spot to lay out and soak up the sun. Town isnāt too far away, and Sandpoint is the cutest town ever! We really enjoyed this gem of a house and the owners were very responsive, nice and helpful! 10 out of 10 overall experience! Deff book this house if you are in Sandpoint.

Great stay with a beautiful view!
The home was beautiful and had an amazing view of the bay. The grass lawn near the dock is small if you have lots of kids (however it was perfect for setting up our ladder golf with seating around it), but the water level was low during our visit which opened up more areas to discover for the kids and provided great rock skipping opportunities. The neighborhood is extremely quiet with very little traffic. This was the perfect spot for a long weekend of relaxation. Jennifer, the homeowner, was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. I am saving this property to rent again in the future.

Wonderful stay at Copper Cabin
We stayed at the Copper Cabin for five nights and had a great stay. The house was very comfortable for two families with children. The house is about 25 minutes form Sandpoint, 50 minutes from Schweitzer, and is in a very quiet neighborhood. We skied three out of the four days and loved coming back to the cozy cabin each evening. It snowed a lot while we were there but the roads were plowed well including the small road where the house is. The house is equipped with all the amenities you need for cooking. We will definitely consider staying here again especially if we return in the summer so we can enjoy the lake and dock!

Beautiful home & ideal location
The Copper Cabin is a beautifully built and designed home. It offers gorgeous living spaces and plenty of amenities with a high end cabin feeling but truly kid friendly at the same time. We stayed inside because it was November, but throughly enjoyed the views from in front of the fireplace and third story. The internet was more than enough to run our phones, laptop and kids gaming systems. It was the Thanksgiving away we all dreamed of.

I hosted a small group of friends and colleagues to this lake house and we had one of the best experiences and were blown away by the property. The amount of space and proximity to everything the lake has to offer was perfect. Jennifer (owner) was very timely in her responses. The folks at the marina across the bay were wonderful to rent from and very helpful with getting us onto our boat rental. 10/10 would recommend and do all over again.

We had an amazing time at Cooper Cabin. The house itself was a modern and very well decorated cabin, with a great open floor plan and expansive deck that provided clear views of the lake. For our kids the bunk bed room was a hit with custom built in bunks. This was one of the few properties we noticed that had a beautiful lawn leading to the dock where we spent a majority of our time lounging, swimming, and boating. We will be back to this property for sure absolutely amazing!!!

Such a fantastic house with a great view and the little street it was on was darling- great for a daily walk. We rented a pontoon boat for two days at the marina right across the water. What a blast to ride around and pull the kids on the inter tube each day.

Our lakeside retreat was exactly as described all we had to do is jump in and enjoy. Loved the home, the casual layout and the care the homeowners have for the house, the property and its occupants.

The Copper Cabin was well equipped for sure. From the kitchen to childrens and adult games. Beds were very cozy, and bedrooms were well laid out. Gorgeous view of the bay and amazing deck. Owners were quick to acknowledge and resolve an issue that came up. Great communication with owner. The cabin is amazing! Loved it! Highly recommend vacay!

Great Family Vacation!
The cabin where we'd spent a week with the family every summer for nine years wasn't available this year, so the Copper Cabin had high standards to meet - and it exceeded them! It fit our five adults and three kids with room to spare. The cabin has great custom designs and used wood recovered from trees cleared on the property. The open kitchen was easy to use and supported us fixing everything from individual breakfasts to a meal for eight. The large front deck delivers great views of the lake; it gets very hot from direct sun in the early afternoon but cools off quickly, thanks to two well placed pine trees. We played hours of shuffleboard on the third floor - a big hit with kids and adults. We spent most of the late morning and afternoon on or around the dock swimming, paddle boarding, or hanging out on our boat when it wasn't dragging the kids around on the tube. On our last night we sat around a fire in the fire pit, cooked over the open fire, and had smores for dessert. A wonderful place to spend an amazing week!
