About this house rental
Welcome to our Piece of Paradise in the Valley! This 3400 sq ft executive home has 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Four bedrooms have queen beds, 1 bedroom has 2 queen beds. The master has a king. The backyard is the place to be with a oversized pool featuring a 15-person spa and grotto with water slide. Built-in outdoor BBQ and large bar area. Golf putting and chipping green. Plenty of outdoor furniture for lounging by the pool or enjoying a glass of wine by the fire pit table.

We visited this property with our extended family for a vacation away from the cold. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our family and provided enough room for everyone. The house is beautiful and provided everything needed for us to enjoy our stay. The day before we were going to leave, we noticed the sinks in one of the upstairs bathrooms were leaking. We notified the owner and just used the other sinks until we checked out. We had some issues with heating the hot tub and water running low but the property manager had someone from the pool company come over and it was fixed. It would have been nice to have more directions on how to use the remote so we could adjust the temperature. The cleaner in the pool also seemed to not be working. Overall, we had a great stay.

Beautiful property, great location, exactly what we needed to get family together from all over the USA to celebrate a birthday!
Unfortunately the pool & hot tub where not up to temperature so it was very disappointing when the most important Amenity to everyone was the pool & hot tub the reason we booked this house.
The last day we finally got the hot tub up to temperature & but it was too late.
The cleaners need to clean the kitchen way better, all the kitchen items we seemed to use were grease and sticky. Kitchen knives are in desperate need of sharping and updated good cookware.
Ice maker was a great bonus very handy, the putting green was enjoyed! Perfect house layout for our group, everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay.
Beds are very comfortable, could use a few more towels in the bathrooms so we didn’t have to constantly wash towels. More than one kitchen towel & one wash rag in the kitchen would be very helpful addition too.
But overall great place and will definitely be staying again if we make it that way again!

Relaxing
The house was super clean & welcoming. It has great art around the home, plenty of room for everyone including bathrooms. Great neighborhood stores are close. I didnt realize it costs extra for the hot tub that I think should have been included considering the price of the rental. Nevertheless the pool area is wonderful we spent alot of time outside plenty of room for everyone. It does get rather hot when the sun blazes down on you in the afternoon. Comfortable beds, the master bedroom bed was wonderful & very comfy. Best sleep I've had in along time. I would rent this home again.

Absolute Paradise
This property is everything it says it is! Our party of 15 stayed for seven days and the house had plenty of room for everyone! The pool and spa are great, the house is well equipped with everything you will need. Sheila was wonderful with answering any and all questions we had. We would 100% recommend to anyone and wish we could have stayed even longer. Overall, nothing less than amazing!

Not Paradise by the Pool
We rented this property in large part for the pool/spa and backyard. It was originally rented for a family reunion 10 adults and 4 young children to which COVID end them coming to the US. I then recruited our golf trip guys to use this booking. 8 old guys to golf and enjoy the pool and Spa/hot tub.
1. When we arrived the pool the pool was full of algae. The algae was so thick it was impossible to see the bottom of the shallow end of the pool.
2.We immediately contacted the owner who called the pool cleaning company, who arrived the next day, but they were unable to clean the pool to rid t of the algae during our 7 day stay.
3. The spa/hot tub malfunctioned several times - completely drain itself.
4. The spa was not hot, as the heater turned off at 90f
5.The propane tank ran dry so we didn't even get to 90f one day.
6. We communicated with the owner every day expressing our dis-satisfaction and were constantly told the pool people would return and deal with the issue. The pool guy gave us his phone # and helped us through the Saturday night when we smelt propane in the house.
7. We learned the owner has the ability to control the pool and hot tub remotely and finally the last night she allowed the spa to get to 96f after they refilled the propane tank and i complained about no heat . It was finally clean enough. The swim trunks were still green after.
8. There were many issues in the house which were all small but add up. Lights burn't out, we bought a can opener, no hot water at main sink in Kitchen to mention a few.
9. The bright spot was the commercial ice machine worked fantastic.
10 We would of been happy to pay the surcharge $50 for the pool and spa if they worked .
This property was promoted as "Piece of Paradise with Resort like Pool"
Not sure where we go from here but. We paid in full, 1 year in advance, will we receive compensation from the owner or VRBO for this misrepresentation. I delayed writing this review as my call to VRBO was supposed to be returned with a email to which I have not seen yet. Kevin

Great place, great commuication
Overall this was a great set up for families with old and young kiddos! It took time to figure out why the pool wasn’t heating but the owner was very responsive.

Excellent stay
Rented for a mini vaca place for fam members attending a nearby wedding. Easy to get to, great back yard, plenty of room for everyone. Check-in and out super easy. Great, and prompt, communication with the host. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to rent again if in the area!

Spacious for a Large Group
Overall, very nice setup for our group of 8 guys on a golf trip. Well equipped kitchen, nice backyard, great sleeping arrangements. Did have issues with spa heater and refrigerator but homeowner was very responsive.

Family reunion in the sun
This home was perfect for celebrating milestone birthdays for family members and supporting our soccer player in her tournament at Bell Bank park. The pool and backyard area was perfect. Unfortunately there was a malfunction in the pool heating system but Sheila did everything she could to get it fixed.

Despite a variety of issues we had with the property, my extended family and I enjoyed our week long stay. The owner was very responsive and had maintenance there quickly to address our concerns. The house could use a deep cleaning, inside and out, along with some updated kitchen supplies. Overall a great family vacation!

Queen Creek - Large family VRBO
This is an outstanding property and very accommodating for a large family! The house is very well supplied with games, TV’s, kitchen utensils, bar-ware and appliances! And an amazing pool! Nice grill area with lots of seating by the pool. Our family has stayed in several vacation rental homes and this was one of the most accommodating for all our needs. Beds were very comfortable too.

Enjoyable trip!
We were a very large group, and the size of the house was just right. Loved the location. Close to everything you need. Very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and towels (although they do need some kitchen towels and rags). The beds were comfortable, but some of the bedding is stained and could probably use replacing. Cleanliness is not the greatest, and carpets are very stained. Biggest issue we had was the crumbling tile edge around the pool. It falls in the pool, stains your feet orange, ruins your swimsuits, and some areas are very sharp. We had 3 people cut their feet on them. And pool maintenance was lacking, as the pool was dirty on arrival and no one came by to clean it while we were there. The homeowner was great to work with...both friendly and responsive. I actually felt bad having to complain about things, but I guess if I don’t then she won’t know what needs improvement. Personally though, if it was my house, I wouldn’t rent it anymore till I fixed the pool tile issue....cause it’s a liability issue waiting to happen. Borderline dangerous!

Fantastic Pool / Great Communication
We stayed at this property April 16-23 2021. It was the first time we got together with the grandparents and cousins since COVID. Normally we go to Cabo, but Phoenix made more sense this year. Shelia was a great host. She was quick to respond to texts and answered any questions we had. The highlight of the house is definitely the pool. It’s a fantastic layout and our 2, 5, and 7 year old girls loved it. The only downside of the pool is that the capstone around the edge of the pool is deteriorating. It’s basically crumbling and falling into the pool leaving a mess of red clay on your feet and swim suits. Shelia said they plan to have it replaced in the near future, probably after the busy season.
Overall the house was fine. The biggest issue we had was just the cleanliness. I guess I was expecting it to be a little nicer, but I understand it’s a rental and sees a lot of traffic. Here’s what stood out:
1. The carpet leading up the stairs is disgusting. Covered in stains and dirt. That should definitely be replaced.
2. The walls around the island, up the stairs, and some other high traffic areas are dirty and have marks and missing paint. These obviously need to be repainted.
3. The white towels and wash cloths are heavily stained. We rewashed, but it didn’t help. They should be replaced.
4. The white bed covers, sheets, and pillow cases are stained which just feels gross. They should be replaced.
5. There was food splatter and stains around the kitchen island area on some of the walls.
6. The light switch plates and switches were dirty. I actually wiped them all down with clorox wipes when we arrived.
I brought all these concerns to Shelia’s attention and she did credit us the cleaning fee which was very much appreciated. The house just needs a deep cleaning, some fresh paint/carpeting, and new towels/linens.
Location is good. It does take about 50 minutes to get to/from the airport. The neighborhood is nice and has several parks nearby. We especially enjoyed mountain biking at the San Tan Regional Park. Conveniently located by lots of stores for anything you need or may have forgotten.

We could not have asked for better property to stay at with our family and friends. Me and my now wife got married at The Paseo in Apache Junction, so this property was everything we needed to accommodate our immediate family and friends. Beautiful back area to entertain and the house did not disappoint. Thanks!
