Superb

An excellent location. Our hostess was very kind and charming. It was a lovely space to come home to after a long day out.

Could be a bit noisy as the pub closed for the night, but it was silent by midnight and we had no issues with merry-makers.

Home from home. Sheila was a lovely host. Cottage had lots of character. Ideal location for shops, pubs/restaurants and train station.

Occasionally noise from pub over the road but we had no issues with that

close to shops and eateries, comfortable and warm able to travel to other areas by train instead of using the car.

pub over the road could sometimes be noisy, it wouldn’t stop me from going back there but feel people need to know about it.

Exceptional

The cottage was comfortable,clean, quirky and had everything we needed, and my granddaughter thought it was a magical place to stay for a holiday with all the lovely shops and the beaches so close by, it's different to where we have stayed before with punch and Judy, circus and boat rides to enjoy.

My son did not like the pub opposite the cottage, but it did not bother myself or my granddaughter.

Wonderful just what we wanted.

The cottage was very comfortable and homely, with all the facilities one could want. It is also in a great location.

Location was great..but noisy with pub opposite an noisy at 6a.m with road washer .

Lovely quirky cottage, spacious and cosy at the same time! Sheila is a great host and we were welcomed with a very delicious cream tea with home made scones!

Relaxing and comfortable base to explore South Devon

The location was perfect. Shops within walking distance, station, seafront, coastal path, park and gardens, and theatre. All close at hand. Short drive to Teignmouth and ferry to Shaldon. Owner always available and very hospitable Cream tea left for us on arrival. Delicious. Cottage was very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped. Off street parking was a definite advantage as parking in Dawlish is very difficult. We couldn’t get the CD player to work but that wasn’t a massive problem.

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful little cottage with everything that we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and Sheila the host was lovely. We had the most amazing cream tea and the weather was perfect that just finished off our stay perfectly

Wonderfully quirky historic cottage, spacious for a family or two couples, close to the high street.

The lovely owner, Sheila, was there to let us in. She made us feel very welcome and even left a cream tea and milk in the fridge for us.

The pub across the road was quite noisy on Friday & Saturday nights but the double glazing helped to dampen the noise.
