Me and my extended family had a great stay at the Hillside Hideaway. There were plenty of bedroom and bathroom options to split up between our group of 13 people. The hot tub was a nice retreat for me and my husband as we suffer many aches and pains. We had no issues during our stay and Igor was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Hi Igor! I would like to thank you for letting us stay in your house. The place has all the necessities and appliances you need. Has a gas grill and had a great time barbequeing everyday. Bathrooms are equipped with shampoo and toilet papers. The place was great to unwind and spending quality time with the family. The house was big and has enough room for everyone, kids loved the game room/lounge room and the hot tub. We saw lots of deers passing by the backyard and a black bear. The Host - Igor , was very easy to communicate with. Check in/out was very smooth and easy. Would love to stay again for another family gathering. 😊

Igor’s property was spacious and beautifully nestled in the woods .. I would recommend for any large groups . Many bedrooms for privacy , unlike most other properties that have multiple beds per room .

I could probably write a book about how much we loved this property. First and foremost, Igor, the property owner is so responsive, kind, and professional! The house is so spacious and perfect for a large group that has those that like to be gather for fun activities and those that want to enjoy peace and quiet. The best part was the garage with the hottub, tv, and couch are! We also liked the screened in porch. There were so many things that were provided...linens, towels, paper towels, soap for your dishes, dishwasher, bodywash, and shampoo! Along with trash bags. This is rare in all the other rentals we have had before. Advice for future renters, bring extra blankets. And that is not because it is cold inside, each room has its own thermastat! The blankets are just for comfort. We could have used more forks too. But that is nothing the dollar store couldnt fix! There are 2 regular size refrigerators and a small one in the garage which was really helpful for our big group. The kitchen had an oven and another small oven (I think it is called a convection oven?) That came in handy keeping dinner warm while cooking other sides. Oh and what i thought was really cool is they had a snack vending machine in the basement. The location was great within a 15 to 20 minute ride to so many attractions. My favorite memory was cooking breakfast the first day and watching a whole herd of deer just walking right past the window. It was so peaceful. We will DEFINITELY rent again!!!

Our entire group enjoyed this house. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the foosball, air hockey and pool. The grown ups loved staying up playing poker. It slept everyone comfortably in the 6 bedrooms. We will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property for Christmas. There were 10 of us in total. The house is huge! There are 6 bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. The livingroom is big and was able to seat all 10 of us as well as the dining table. The kitchen is huge, with tons of counter space and all the amenities. The basement has foozball, air hockey, pool table and a table, which we used to put puzzles together. Also has a video game system, couch, tv and a vending machine! The garage has hot tub and pingpong. We will probably stay here again in a couple of years. Love the place!!!!!

My family and I loved this home!! Everything was exactly as described, Igor was very communicative. The property is pretty large with 6 bedrooms and 7 beds, easily accommodating 14 people. The game room was great, kitchen and appliances were fantastic, cleanliness and location were awesome too. Just all in all a great stay and highly recommend!!! Love the house manual which made it super easy for us to enjoy the home and neighborhood.

We are a group of friends that make a trip to the Poconos in the Fall every year. This was the first time we stayed at this home and found it to be exactly what we needed. It is a beautiful home in a lovely area with spectacular views!!! We will be returning next Fall.

A week gateway
This trip was nothing more but relaxing! From the amazing house, the pool table and all the other activities in the house. Everything was within 10-15 minutes of the house maybe 20. The communication with the home oweners were even better. They checked in to see how everything was going/ if we needed anything. My family and I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Wedding Weekend!
My son got married this past Friday and we were fortunate to find this great home! The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, the rooms were all large with plenty of closet and drawer space for our needs. We had lots of fun having a pool tournament downstairs and partaking in the foosball and air hockey! Igor was SO accessible when I needed him. Thank you so much. We would definitely return if we ever had a need to be in this area again!

Amazing place with great ownership!
I rented the house out for my sister’s bachelorette party. There was plenty of space and the hot tub area was a hit! The owners checked in to make sure we settled in okay and responded very quickly with any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here. It is good for a small intimate group, but also great for a large one. None of the ladies had any complaints. Very large beds! If I am ever back in the area, I will be reaching up to see to stay here again!

Look NO Further
I dont even know where to begin! Our family has been doing an annual Christmas trip for the past few yrs, Nick & Igors home has put an end to our search for the PERFECT place for our family! We were a group of 14 and the layout couldn't of been more suitable for us! The poker table and game room was a huge hit! The hot tub was also thoroughly enjoyed while watching Christmas movies! The house was clean and description accurate! Everyone had enough space and no one was crammed together. One of the best perks this house has when dealing with a larger group was no one was waiting for hot water or showers! Communication was excellent and all questions were answered expeditiously. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We even got to see herds of deer right off the driveway! It was decided unanimously that we will look no further any longer! & If Nick & Igor would have us we are ready to start planning again! Such a pleasure all the way around! Tons of Fun
We rented this house for our Christmas getaway. We have never been away at Christmas time before. This one was on the list because it allowed pets. We chose this one for the amount of bedrooms and all of the things the house had to do. I have two teenagers and the PlayStation, pool table, air hockey and hot tub gave them plenty of things to do. It also allowed them to have their own room. We loved all the space that the kitchen and family room had. Enough chairs at the table and in the family room. It was easy to get to and close to shopping. The owners were very responsive to all questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

Overall a good trip!
I planned this trip for my family(parents, siblings and their children. 10 adults, 5 kids with 4 of them being under 5 years old.). Overall, we all had a really good time. The communication between Nick, Igor and myself was awesome and they respond super quick! The pool table, poker table and hot tub were the biggest hits for us. I was a bit thrown off by the bedroom arrangements. As I thought there would be actual cribs in the master along with pack n plays, but there were only pack n plays. Also, the twin in the master was not an actual bed, but more of a sofa/lounge chair.
Side note: Even though the property is pretty friendly in very glad none of us brought our dogs because the first night there a bear(at least 600 lbs) came strolling past our cars and through the front yard. It was awesome!

Wonderful stay in the poconos!
My family and I stayed here for a week for spring break. The house was spacious, clean, fully stocked with anything you need! The kids loved the game room and the hot tub! The weather was perfect and we were able to BBQ and enjoy dinner on the deck and morning coffee in the enclosed deck - had a few deer sightings while sitting outside!! The location was perfect and close to hiking, Jim Thorpe, Kalahari, petting zoos and shopping! We look forward to staying here again!

I did not end up staying at this house do to a family member getting covid, so i had to cancel last Minute and the host went out of his way to cancel the reservation and refund the money, i really appreciated it, and i hope to come back here one day .

R&R for my big family!
My family and all of our significant others had a really great vacation, thanks to this home we got to stay in! With 10 adults total, we had plenty of space to spread out, as well as plenty of games and cozy furniture for when we were together. My family arrived during a blizzard, and Nick was fantastic in navigating our check-in process and ensured that we could arrive at the property safely since it’s a little bit off the main roads. My family will definitely be looking to stay here in the future, everything was great!
