Not a hotel, no hotel staff to help, elevator was broken, my family could not eat at table because it was completely broken, no tv in bedroom, was previously smoked in

The apartment was excellent and exactly as described. Two separate bedrooms, one ensuite and a separate bathroom. We were on the 38th floor with excellent views and no noticeable street noise. It was spotlessly clean and had plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. We were only staying for one night but it would have been a great base for several days.
The key collection was a bit confusing. Check in was from 4:00pm but we arrived a little early at 3:45pm. Reception didn't seem to have any idea what the arrangements should be and suggested contacting the host or seeing if the apartment was open. We tried the door, but it was locked so we tried phoned using the contact details from booking.com. The cleaner was running a bit late, so we eventually got in a little after 4:00pm which was fine, but the instructions could have been clearer.

I liked the location a lot. The unit was pretty good. The layout was good. The amenities were good. It was cozy. The AC worked after I dialed it in.
The elevators.... the elevators.... the elevators.... we were stuck on the ground floor with no way up more than once. Lobby security walked me, my wife, and small children up to our room out of pity. (His key fob worked to an adjacent floor, and we used the stairs because he had a key those, too)
300 front street has a terrible elevator system. I called Global Stay and asked for a refund at one point. After an hour stuck at the ground, what would you do? I was frustrated. Your anit getting access to your room..... I tired 3 times to go up. You wait with many other tired guests also tired of waiting. Then you end up back at the ground floor. And then do it again on a different lift.... then do it again. Oh snap. Then it works. Security opens the floors, so it works...
I called text and messaged global stay. They were polite and kind. I appreciate that. The only thing is they said to contact the security.
Security was frustrated because they were escorting mantle guests to their rooms through the stairs, as I mentioned.
I arranged my plans... not as I wished but by the number of times you had to use the elevator. Go down without brushing your teeth.. I guess you don't brush your teeth that day. No regular minded person wastes that much time on an elevator.
Ok... no more elevators.
Next, the toaster didn't work.... small thing.. there were also missing cutlery and glassware. You could not set a table for 4. My gamily eats at the table old school. There was only 1/2 a roll of paper towel. Ok, no problem... The sheets for the second bed were not adequate. Fine they are just kids.....The duvet had not been washed in a while.... Every pillow was stained under the pillow cover. Ok... you guys are taking advantage of guests. That's the bottom line. This isn't one thing it's a trend.
I am a reasonable man. I spend 180 days a year on the road. I have had many terible rooms. I have had many great rooms.

Conveniently located downtown right across the convention center.
Check in was a disaster..you need to go to another location for the keys, if you are lucky enough to find the place, then there are a hundred lock boxes hang on a wall and you need to find yours..only to realize that the key is not there. Staff didn’t communicate that and sent me back to the aptm building after I called them. Once there the reception wasn’t informed about the key and they refused to deliver it to me. Check in took me over 40 min

L’emplacement et la vue sont biens mais n’effacent pas la galère de l’arrivée.
Le gestionnaire Globalstay est le pire établissement de gestion auquel nous ayons eu à faire. Des échanges mails interminables qui aboutissent sur un Check-in catastrophique !!! Plus de 2h pour comprendre avec la conciergerie sur place que l’appartement attribué pour lequel nous avions reçu le numéro l’étage et la place de parking par mail quelques jours avant , a été loué à quelqu’un d’autre. Finalement nous rétrogradons après une dizaine d’appels téléphoniques du 39 au 16eme étage.
Une honte absolue. A 20h passée la plate-forme téléphonique nous demande d’attendre environ 2h le temps de faire des vérifications.

horrible mess. No one knew I was coming. Sat around for 2 hours till the apparently acutal management company could get a hold of the "other"company that took my money. To "compensate" for the wait of 2 hours we were given two extra hours for check out..ok fine..... well that ended when the "other" management company sent a cleaning lady 2 hours early and was harassing me to get out so she could get in the place!..again on the phone with management while I was in a towel from the shower! This is simply a shady. 3 businesses all under different names claim they "manage" this place. Tried to call this "customer service" and the person in charge lives in RUSSIA! Good luck with that. As for the "security deposit" Rest assured they will keep it till the very last second unless they can find an excuse to keep it. You will have a fight on your hands. BEWARE
What a crap trip. Toronto has far better than THIS

Location was excellent! Could walk everywhere we wanted to go. As well Union station was in walking distance.
Apartment had everything we needed and was very clean.
Pullout couch was comfortable but not ideal. Would be difficult to fit 2 adults.

The location and view are very good. It’s a full apartment with kitchen and some appliances.
I had to go a take the key in a sketchy location with a numero in Niue written on a black box (terrible choice).
I didn’t meet anyone from the renting company to greet me and show me the amenities , like in my other stays through booking. Even if I was changed for the cleaning fee, I was suggested to leave the apartment clean and collect the garbage in one location. Nonetheless I paid via booking, they requested me to send a screenshot of the booking and a document via email, which is an insecure way to send documents because it’s prone to identity theft by 3rd party.
The deposit was requested and charged outside booking and directly via link from the company, which makes all a bit worrisome (I had it back as stated). I’m used to have a pre-approval of change that is void after my leave instead of a surcharge that is billed and sent me after 7 business days.
The place was clean but not too much: the fridge stinks , the bathroom rug is full of hair and not the best. In the dryer there were only the pillow cases and the towels, nothing else.

Getting the keys was like a scavenger hunt. Furniture wasn’t very clean or comfortable (bedding had stains, stuff was left in the washer/dryer, bathroom had hair in it)

Der Ausblick und größtenteils die Ausstattung, der einfache Check-in und Check-out, sowie die Kommunikation mit dem Crew per Email.
Die Hausregeln werden sehr gut befolgt, also keine Partys etc, Rauchen verboten ... man kann sich wirklich gut erholen, ohne von anderen Gästen gestört zu werden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Vom Flughafen kann man ruhig mit dem UP Express fahren, es sind 3 Stationen und ca. 25min und kommt an der Union Station an. Dann sind es noch nicht mehr als 10min zu Fuss bis zur Unterkunft.
Ausstattung: WLAN, Netflix, Küche mit Spüler, Mikrowelle, Herd, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Kühl-Gefrier-Kombi, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Bügeleisen und -brett, Staubsauger, im Bad mit großzügiger Dusche und Föhn.
Ich empfand die Klimaanlage, trotz reduzierter Lüftung etwas laut bzw. störend. Jedoch zum Vergleich mit dem Deckenventilator im Bad, welcher sich permanent sehr laut drehte, kein Vergleich.
Die Vormieter hinterließen leider unsauberes Geschirr und Besteck. Die Deckenbeleuchtung im Schlafzimmer und teils im Essbereich war defekt, konnte ich aber unkompliziert dem Hausmeister-Team melden.

Departamento completo con absolutamente todo lo que precisás. Cocina completa, utensilios aceptables, baño excelente, espacioso y una vista formidable de Toronto. Edificio moderno. Gimnasio a disposición que por supuesto no usé porque estaba de vacaciones!!! Pileta también pero estaba cerrada por fuera de temporada. Todo casi perfecto. La ubicación está muy bien pero no es óptima. De todas formas nos gusta caminar y estás a pocas cuadras de todo.
La única contra fue que no es tan sencillo ubicar las llaves. Si bien las indicaciones son claras debés prestar bastante atención porque te mareás un poco. La gente de recepción no tiene nada que ver con quien te alquila. Toda la comunicación es via booking y contestan bastante rápido.

- Got asked way too many documents after completing the booking. Passport, driver licenses, even a selfie + 200$ security deposit on a separate invoice.
- very Inconvenient check in process. Had to walk a few blocks away in to a grocery store and then find a lock attached on the wall and get the key there (???).
When I finally got the key, I had to go up in the appartment in order to pick up the garage key, which wastes time and was frustrating.
The whole check-in "system" looks like a "hack" that might be convenient for the owner, but it doesnt look professional, without much care for the guest experience.
- Garage instructions provided were incorrect, which made me waste more time.
- Google Drive instructions document sometimes wouldn't load so I couldn't find the wifi password when I needed it again.
- Balcony was dirty + some fake grass astro turf was laying there but didnt even fit properly. It really showed that zero care has been thought into that.
- Shower floor wasn't very clean
- listing showed sauna/hot tub facilities, but no clear instructions were provided on how to access it. When I messaged Globalstay they suggested to ask the building reception to see if its available. I think this should be clear in the description if its something that is offered or not + instructions.

Horrible customer service. They ignored my texts and phone calls.
Defrauded me of extra deposit amounts and key fees that were never disclosed and required me to pay before they gave me check in instructions. Only gave us one key for four people. So, if your group is not together, good luck getting in.
No door handles on the bedroom doors, so we had to prop our door to stay closed.
Outside windows were cracked and dangerous.
The dishwasher smelled like a dead body and if you opened it, the entire place reeked.
They only left 1 small roll of toilet paper per bathroom for 4 people. The condo smelled like bug spray.
I'm disputing this stay with my credit card company.

Didn’t like the communication from the tenant on how to get the key for the room. The link wouldn’t open and only after I was able to show front desk a picture of the room number was I able to get in touch with the owner to get directions to the key. Which was a fair walk away.
All in all instead of checking in at 4 it was closer to 6 with no concern from owner.
The place was clean to the eye but once we pulled out the sofa bed you could see it was not cleaned under it for while. Womens toiletry was found as well not the bottom but top of the stick if you know what I mean.

We stayed two nights and loved the location which is 5'ish min away from the CN tower and convenient to everything else in the area. The night views from the condo were spectacular. My daughter loved the place so much that she asked for us to return some day.
Nothing to do with the condo itself, but parking can be a little bit expensive. We paid $60 to park our car for two days (48h) on 4 Blue Jay Street, which is a few blocks away from the condo.

WORST property I have ever stayed in. First of all the apartment you book is not the apartment given. There were missing kitchen equipment. The dishwasher did not work. The apartment is infested with bed BUGS! Do not expect any help from Globalstay… there response to bed bugs was telling me to go to the hospital. I had to pay a deposit of $500 as my stay was for a month which I did not get all back due to “extra cleaning” even though I had left the apartment in a good state. Truly save yourself the trouble and do not stay with Globalstays!
