Our home is located on Topsail Island, off of U.S. Highway 17 between Jacksonville and Wilmington, N.C.
Everyone should have the opportunity to create fun and relaxing family memories! Our house sits directly on the impeccably beautiful, sandy beaches of Topsail Island in North Carolina, one of the most pristine, uncrowded beaches on the east coast with views up and down the 20 mile long island.
The house has 3 levels and includes an ELEVATOR, so no worries about stairs when hauling luggage or groceries.
Top Level: The main level consists of the kitchen, dining and family room, a powder bathroom and the King Master en-suite. You can enjoy views of the beach/ocean from all top level rooms!
The King Master tiled bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower AND separate shower/Jacuzzi tub combo.
The kitchen has TWO dishwashers, a Jenn Air electric cooktop and all the utensils and pots and pans you'll need to cook some great meals!
The Family/Great room has a large dining table; VERY comfortable; VERY cozy LOVESAC couches and club chair, and a window seat to enjoy a book or a snooze!
Middle Level: The middle floor has a central laundry area, 3 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms; and large covered deck. Beach/deck access from 2 of the bedrooms.
The King bedroom has a large walk-in closet and beautiful views and deck/private beach access. The Queen bedroom has a large closet and views mostly of the sound and a bit of the ocean. These two (king and queen) bedrooms share a large tiled bathroom with a Jacuzzi shower tub combo.
The 3rd bedroom on this floor is large and perfect for the kids. It has 2 sets of bunk beds, (twin over full). The room also has a very large tiled bathroom with a newly- tiled walk in shower (recently updated) and separate Jacuzzi tub, beautiful beach views and access.
Bottom Level: This level serves as a mudroom for sandy feet and carport/storage area for beach toys. Covered parking for two, and additional parking for 6 more.
There are 2 decks available to relax on.
The top level deck has 2 wood Adirondack chairs, a high top table and 4 chairs, and 4 lounge chairs.
The mid - level deck has many plastic Adirondack chairs..

I brought my mom and granddaughter to Topsail, NC for a "Girls Trip" and this place was AMAZING. We absolutely loved the house which had everything we needed. We cooked our meals at home and spent the day on the deck or at the beach. The host was amazing and was quick to respond. Their house is BEAUTIFUL and we hope to book another vacation here again!

This is one of the best beach houses I have ever stayed in. The location was great. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of space for our daughter and nephew to run around. The views were spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay, and the house comfortably accommodated our group of six adults and two children. The location was excellent, both in terms of proximity to the ocean and its exact area on Topsail Island (old Ocean City area). The kitchen is well appointed and multiple outdoor shower locations made it easy to keep things clean when coming back and forth from the sand.

We had two families with adult children on vacation for the week. The location is amazing. Although there is a neighborhood access point one house down, there is no public access close enough to create large crowds on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked, including baking bans! The stove was a bit of a challenge, but I expect the owner will be addressing that soon. And, while the table is big enough for 10, we had to get creative with seating to make it happen. If we'd had small children we might have had an easier time. The living area accommodated us well and the top, oceanside deck offered expansive views of the beach. Bonus: it's shaded in the afternoon! Bonus #2: the beds were made when we arrived. That allowed us to settle in quickly and get straight to enjoying the beach. Host was quick to respond to questions before and during the trip. We'd highly recommend Lucky Leaf.

This was our 3 summer staying at Lucky Leaf. It is a gorgeous 4 BR home on the beach. Beach is comfortable and not crowded so that our group could play games like Corn Hole, etc on the beach, we have so much fun spending our days on the beach! The home is far superior to any beach property that I have ever rented and for 1-2 weeks each summer, it is my favorite summer retreat. The home is spacious and well equipped with most everything you need. Kitchen is great and dining easily accommodates a large group. The manager and owners are accessible within minutes to answer your questions and/or to resolve problems.

This is a an absolutely wonderful beach house that is well taken care of. The location is amazing because it’s in a section of N. Topsail where there is no public beach access—which meant the beach was less crowded—but it’s close enough to Surf City that you can easily get to restaurants and stores without driving far at all. We’ve visited N. Topsail and Surf City many times, and everyone in our group agreed that this was our favorite place to stay.

This was our second summer staying at this wonderful beach home. The accommodations are adult and child friendly. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils and cookware! The living area is spacious and comfortable, dining easily accommodates 8-10 people. The beach is clean and spacious; the setup of the neighborhood affords for great space for all people on the beach and can use tents and shabomi without fear of being told to pack it up. The frozen ice cart comes 1-2 times most every day which is so refreshing on a really hot day and a treat for the children every day.
We love this home, the beach, and all that it offers! An extra plus for arrival and departure is the elevator which makes the process much less stressful and decreases strain on the body!
Will be coming back next year for sure.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home that had everything we needed! My parents are elderly and the elevator was so helpful! Having the beach directly in the back yard made everything so much easier, especially since we were having family beach pictures taken.
It was lovely to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Well-stocked kitchen! We ate at the home each night around the large table that was big enough for our group of 9. This is something my husband appreciated: even with multiple people showering at the same time, there was no loss of water pressure and plenty of hot water! Would love to stay here again.

The property and location were great. Easy to get to, easy 20 yard walk to the beach. The house was clean and up to date. The outdoor showers helped with clean off from sand and salt. We would love to come back.

2 weeks at LUCKY LEAF
Our 2 weeks stay at Lucky Leaf was wonderful, relaxing, and so much fun. My family and I were there which included two young couples, one with 2 children (8 and 18 months) and another young married couple and 4 older adults ranging from 48 to 75. The home was spacious and equipped for children as well as adults. High chair, pack and play, and plastic dishes were unexpected delights!!! The kitchen was well equipped with nice appliances such as toaster, keurig, utensils including a very nice knife set that worked great for our meal prepping needs. The outdoor grill was very nice and cooked varied seafood wonderfully. If your group is large, the dining table comfortably seats 9-10 people. This trip was the first time that we have been able to all sit at the table and enjoy our meal as a family.
The beach was great, and like the house was spacious. The homes around this home are single dwells so the beach was not overcrowded at any time during our stay. The beach area was larger than any other home that we have stayed in previously and this is our tenth year coming to Topsail Beach. There was great storage space for our chairs, etc that was out of the weather and safe.
We loved staying in this home so much that we have already booked it again for next summer.

Exceptional experience at Lucky Leaf. The pictures of this home do not do it justice We found this home to be so much more than pictured. Couches, beds and seating were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked all appliances work well The views from either deck were beautiful and times breathtaking. We could not have been closer to the beach unless we were on the dunes. Communication with the owner is wonderful, any questions we had were answered quickly. Do not miss your chance to rent this beautiful beach home.

This home is gorgeously appointed, exceptionally equipped and accessible for our multi-generational family, and the property amenities were perfect for the current COVID19 climate. Melissa was great to work with, in constant touch with us regarding questions we had both before and during our visit. We happened to be there during a hurricane and the owners were great at communicating with us everything we needed to know to keep our family safe and informed. A unique time to vacation.
What a wonderful home to rent. The location was ideal. The beach wasn’t crowded at all. The home was beautiful. Just as pictured. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and all our baking needs too. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The bunk room was ideal for the little ones. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Melissa was on top of everything. Quick with responses to questions. We are planning next year’s vacation at Lucky Leaf!!!

Perfect Getaway
What a great long weekend with friends and family! The weather definitely wasn’t ideal, but that didn’t even matter. The views of the ocean coupled with how comfortable and clean this home was were all we needed. The bunk room on the middle level was ideal for all of the kids. Note there are two trundles that pull out from under the full size bunks providing two extra twin sized beds in that room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were all huge and very clean. The elevator was very handy for unloading and loading all of our belongings...definitely a bonus for anyone who may have trouble with stairs too. The sun deck had ample amount of seating and so did the middle deck. The outdoor shower was ideal for not tracking beach sand into the house. We thought we were going to miss not having a pool, but being steps away from the sand and ocean were better than having a pool. Groceries stores are very close by (3 miles) and though we only went to one restaurant during our stay, there appeared to be several close by options. The kids of course loved pelican snoballs, wings and the giant candy store that were a very short drive away. Just enough in the area to keep us entertained in the rain without it feeling overcrowded or overdeveloped. Last but not least, the owners were absolutely wonderful...very helpful and quick communication even from the time before we booked. We all are definitely looking forward to returning soon with hopefully more sun!!

I would definitly recommend this house! It is exactly how it looks in the pictures and the ocean view is amazing! Also the owners are fabulous! We had a problem with the air conditioning and they had it fixed in no time. They were so nice and kept in touch throughout the process. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house!

A picture says a thousand words and the picture of this rental with the two umbrellas is all you need to know. The inside of the house is perfect for 10 people. The two decks facing the ocean are great. We looked at the stars every night.

2018 N Topsail family vacation
We rented the house and our expectations were far exceeded!! They had a tub of sand/beach toys for the kids, a beach umbrella, and fishing poles. The kitchen even had sharp knives (not common in rentals). They had IKEA kids serving dishes and silverware, how great was this! We unfortunately had a lot of rain but we were able to rent some Redbox movies, we played family game, & did a puzzle. We couldn't get over how close we were to the beach and enjoyed our naps on the hammock. We also ate breakfast on the upper deck most mornings (that weren’t raining). Having so many nicely furnished bedrooms made the stay very comfortable. One last thing was the elevator made luggage and groceries a million times easier for us to transport too. The only thing we felt was missing was a vacuum. We would have liked to sweep the floor w/ more than a broom. Otherwise we’d definitely rent here again!

Great home for a beach vacation!
Our family stayed in Lucky Leaf again this July. As before, the home was spotlessly clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, and the beach was clean! The elevator was especially appreciated when time came to move luggage and groceries to the 3rd floor. When we got the inevitable evening thunderstorms, we did jigsaw puzzles, played card and board games, and summer reading. We will definitely return!

A wonderful place to spend a quiet week at the beach
Most important: clean; nicely updated and maintained; great running A/Cs and comfortable beds. Three generations of our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Topsail Beach. And what is unique about this location is that there is low density of homes and people around Lucky Leaf. When you spend the day out on the beach, it is very private as there are few families out on the extensive beach. And if you want to get to a grocery store or to the local restaurants, Lucky Leaf is just over 3 miles from the Surf City center. We plan on renting this place again.

North Topsail is a beautiful beach. Not crowded when we were there. Everything we needed was close.
The Lucky Leaf was perfect. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Kitchen very well stocked and large DR table. Decks comfortable and steps from the beach.Hope we will be back.

My family had one the best vacations ever at this rental home RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!!
We never needed to plan going places once we arrived because the beach took all our time.
The house was very clean and beautiful. While there we witnessed sea turtle eggs hatch 500 yards from our location on the beach. It was awesome!

Clean, stunning picturesque home!
This was truly our best NC beach vacation to date. The house was incredibly clean and exactly as pictured. Beach access was worth every penny and we did not miss having a pool (which historically we had rented houses with pools). A pool was totally unnecessary with the beach RIGHT THERE! We loved the kitchen and upper level set up. The house was spotless upon arrival and the owners were accessible and a breeze to work with -- we will absolutely stay here again. We enjoyed using the hammock on the lower deck. The house did have a lot of adirondack chairs and two large umbrellas. I do not recall if this was in the listing, but we used those as well as the chairs we rented. Outdoor showers made clean up a breeze. The home itself is very organized so that you can keep it clean and free of sand. The house is not in a particularly crowded area and we loved mostly having the beach all to ourselves. There is a wonderful farmers market down the road and plenty of amenities close by for dinner, groceries, activities. We found 51 (!!!) shark's teeth during our stay. They have some books, puzzles, games and sand toys. Plan to bring skewers for smores which our kids loved. Take time to read the guest book - it's a really sweet tribute to how many people have loved staying at Lucky Leaf. :)
Our group had 4 adults and 4 kids - and we cooked every single meal, which made the fridge/freeze VERY packed (almost to the point of unmanageable). So I think go in knowing that for larger groups, you may need to do a mid week grocery store run OR plan to eat out a bit. Truly a second fridge is the only thing that could have improved our stay - it was that perfect. We're already discussing booking for 2018!

Wonderful
We could not have had a more enjoyable week at Lucky Leaf. Our 4 grandchildren (ages 7-14) loved the bunk room and lived on the beach every moment the weather allowed. The house is beautifully appointed and maintained. Our best Topsail stay ever.

The Lucky Leaf continues to be my family's choice for our summer beach get-together. It was very clean, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, fabulous ocean views and accessibility, and owners are very responsive. We hope to stay again next summer!

The perfect end to our summer!
The property is incredibly well-maintained and very clean. Everything in the house is labeled and instructions are left for every question. The owners are very available and attentive, even texting to remind us of when to put the garbage out! The house feels like a real home, not a beach house. The views are spectacular and the surrounding beach is not crowded at all. It's only about 7 minutes from Surf City for things like groceries and restaurants. The elevator was a HUGE help moving in and out! We've been coming to Topsail Beach for 8 summers in a row, and this was far and away the best experience we've had! Can't wait to go back!!

We vacation at topsail regularly and this house has been our favorite. We've stayed here multiple times with another family and there was plenty of room fort the 10 of us in our combined families. Being right on the beach means that multiple beach sessions per day are the norm rather than an exception and the views are just spectacular! (wake up for sunrise, you won't be disappointed). The house itself was very clean and well laid out. The large bunk room was perfect for kids and the walk-in closets double as nap rooms for the babies. The two showers outside kept the floors inside free from the annoying beachhouse grit. We didn't really use the elevators, but they were nice for the luggage on the first/last day. The owners are really nice and great to communicate with.
