absolutely terrible hotel what a mess

near the beach

we checked in the room there was a strong clorox smell with wet floors. Room lights not working, toilet lights not working, aircon remote not working, wifi unstable, screaming & loud staffs in the early morning. breakfast despite being early at 7am , started 20 minutes late.

i love the food.

front desk staff a bit unfriendly. stay at room 108, the knob need to change. waited a few minutes outside bcs the knob cant identified the card. dont offer what time we customer prefer to checkin in online website when have to wait till 3pm to check in.

asked for refund for 1 room booked but was refused. we booked 7 rooms total. because a couple could not make it for health reason.

Short stay

Great short stay for the Sarawak Adventure Challenge 2023. Comfy and ease of commuting towards town and also to the event area. Room was large and view was good. Thanks also to the admin for arranging a transfer refund for my deposit which I did not have time to collect as I left/check out at 6am.

Laundry quality could have some improvement.

Bad staying experience in Roxy Sematan

The location

Staff unfriendly. Swimming pool always crowded. Check out need to wait also. When u request buggy u can't get one most of the time. Cleaner not professional. Toilet smelly. Request extra shampoo receiptionist refuse to give. No hair dryer in townhouse. Hard to get food and grocery within walking distance.

Another great day of vacation.

Food and freedom with good environment. Nice cosy room. Balcony equipped with 2 relaxing chair and a breathtaking, beautiful view towards the beach. Friendly staffs and efficient waiters & waitress in keeping the dinning place clean especially quick clearance of used plates and cutleries that makes it convenient for the customer to chat and the dining table while finishing their other food. Excellent service and hospitality.

Bedside lamp 2 not working and milk should not be all icy because milk are needed for hot coffee and hot tea too. The Lepapa convenient store is missing for construction purpose, but at least put up temporary place to shop. Check out time should be at 12 noon not 11 a.m. since the check in time is at 1500 hrs. There should be ample time to setup the room 2 1/2 hours before check in.

The room was big n clean. The frieds came in big portion. The swimming pool was fine, the lobby is clean.

The room is not that soundproof, early in the morning around 5am we can hear the staff below start to play music and chitchatting, which it not recommended for those who is very sensitive to sound. The food choices was limited as we were travelling as vegetarians, n the food was only soso. Can provide more plant-based diet friendly meal next time.

I enjoy the location. Breakfast was quite bland and may could have improved by following the example of Damai Beach Resort's breakfast style. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The pool was great, and the staff was polite, which added a wonderful touch to our stay.

What I didn't like about our vacation was that the place was still under renovation! We couldn't enjoy our time there because it was chaotic and noisy in the early morning and worse in the afternoon. The view was terrible with construction overviewing our room. We were unhappy to learn that there was no LePaPa store and also the giant swing was not present, as shown in the photo on your social media. We planned to pedal on the beach in the evening at 5 p.m., but the service was only available until then! It would have been good to pedal at sunset and move the time to 6 pm instead of 5 pm, but we didn't get much cycling done at that time. In addition, kayaking was the sole accessible activity.S

Overall still acceptable.

Hope you provide more delicious breakfast choice to differentiate with others normal hotel. Seems you are more expensive, you must be shown with your value so that may attract more people stay.

Smells like the beach 💀

Big enough for everyone. Has a TV we could connect our laptops to while playing games so everyone can watch.

The master bedroom smells like the beach which is unpleasant and that was when we just checked in. This time the cockroach didn't appear in the kitchen, it appeared in the bathroom of the master bedroom. I think they should install a hanging rack in the bathroom so we can hang out towels and clothes while showering.

Large room, good bathroom, and nice balcony.

Sheets had stains on them (possibly make-up). Staff wasn't friendly or helpful. Breakfast was quite poor. Certainly not worth the price paid for it.

Good

The staffs are nice and you feel welcome there. The beach is clean and sunset view perfect for your Instagram stories. Have a few seafood restaurant nearby you should try them!

Not much option for breakfast but it still good. The villa is a little far from beach. Well you need to walk through a rocky road to reach the beach since there is a construction there still. No area to hang out, there are sitting area near the pool but can get too noisy from the kids playing there.

Not worth to stay.

Nothing, just wan to try new experience in the new hotel.

Aircond leaking, staff not friendly & the worst breakfast menu ever. The menu is so limited which not worth for RM 200+ rate per night.

The room was bigger compared to any room of the same price. 2 size pool, convenient for adult and children. Loved their grilled chicken (dinner).
