Lodging is an important part of the perfect Maui vacation. Being in a great location, not only on the island, but also on the property itself, is key. It should be updated, clean, well-equipped, and the beds have to be comfortable. Just steps from the sand, this condo delivers in spades. It’s on the south side of the building, away from noisy streets and captures sunlight from the first rays shining over Haleakala’s peak in the morning to the evening’s last light. This property is right across the street from the Kama’ole Beaches, some of the best beaches on Maui for swimming in the warm ocean, snorkeling over vibrant reefs frequented by sea turtles, and playing in the soft golden sand. These beaches are also some of the few on Maui with lifeguards. After a day of Hawaiian adventures, you can watch gorgeous sunsets from the sand.
This spacious vacation rental has large windows and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors running along the entire length of the condo, bringing the tropical paradise that awaits outside into every room. The master bathroom has two sinks and a large shower, and the master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, second air conditioner, smart TV, and has direct access to the sun-soaked lanai. The second bedroom has two twin beds and its own private bathroom. A retractable wall separates the second bedroom from the living room and can be left open for a more open feel. The living room has plenty of seating, a sofa bed, a large flat screen TV, and guests will enjoy free cable, high speed internet, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your Maui vacation, including Keureg and traditional coffee makers, a Bosch dishwasher, and even a Vitamix blender that can whip up your morning smoothie or blend the perfect margarita when you’re ready to relax after a long day at the beach. The condo has full-sized washer and dryer so your swimsuits can be washed and ready to go for the next day’s fun.
From this location you can hike down picturesque Keawakapu Beach to Wailea or stroll along South Kihei Road and enjoy Kihei’s numerous shops and restaurants. There is a covered parking space, though it’s so easy to walk from this location, you may find yourself leaving the rental car parked in the shade for days at a time. Nestled in the sunnier microclimate of South Maui, Kihei receives less rainfall than the rest of the island, so you won’t lose beach time. The place was perfectly located for hanging out at the beach and going on lots of side trips and adventures with our family (two parents and two kids under 10). Wonderful and responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It wasn't perfect, but given the price, it was pretty incredible.
Pros:
The place is as described. Two bedrooms, two baths, spacious, full kitchen, laundry, large lanai. The beds were comfy and the unit is in a quiet part of the property. It is short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. There is also a lot to do within a short drive (Wailea is less than 5 minutes). Neil is great host - extremely responsive and provides all of the information you need.
Cons:
The furniture and appliances are a bit outdated, but none of that was a surprise as the listing is accurate. There were a few little tiny bugs constantly on the dining table, so I think that needs to be replaced. The cleaning crew didn't do the best job, so there was some dirt, etc. when we got there. I also wish there was more than just hand soap and dish soap, as we had to buy a body wash/shampoo combo at Safeway.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again given the amazing value (two beds/baths and amazing location). Thanks for having us!

This nice apartment is right across the street from Kam 2 and 3 beaches. The owner took special touches like labels by each light switch and on each drawer which are much appreciated. Well equipped kitchen too. And great beach gear! The complex is older and smaller than its neighbors but it means the rather decent pool is not as crowded. Overall highly recommended!

Stayed here for about a month while working. The condo had everything you can possibly need to enjoy the area (beach towels, toys, umbrellas, chairs, etc.)! Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance imaginable. AC worked great and kept all rooms very cool during the day and night. The living room was good size with 2 oversized couches that can easily sleep guests. The toilet tank in the guest room had a crack in it and was leaking during our stay. I reached out to Neil and he took immediate action and had the toilet replaced within hours of my initial message regarding the toilet. The check in/out process was super simple and didn’t require any extra hassle. Would absolutely stay here again!

We loved this property … if you’re looking for super fancy, high end — this isn’t it. It is comfortable, convenient, well stocked with cooking gear, close to the beach, covered parking, very nice quiet pool, wonderful deck/lanai which was never noisy. We never turned on the a/c, it was perfectly comfortable without it. Four adults — so we needed the sofa bed, which wasn’t great but it was fine. Bathrooms are very nice, good showers, plenty of room for 4 women. I felt like this was a very good value for Maui and would absolutely go back. Excellent responsive communication with owner. WiFi worked well. We felt safe, and very happy. Thank you!

Me and my family of 5 had a wonderful time at this unit. It was well equipped with all the amenities. The beds were comfy and even the the pull out couch mattress was comfortable for our 20 year old son. The kitchen had everything you'd need and the private parking space was a nice bonus.
Across the street is the beach and just steps away down the main road are all the restaurants/bakeries/supermarkets/bars you can imagine. Kihei is a great beach town.
We enjoyed trying out the different food trucks and did takeout several nights from Miso Phat Kihei (awesome sushi) which was just down the main road.
In a nut shell this was a no frills 2 BR 2 bath condo that had really everything you'd need to call it home during your stay and the location is prime.

This condo came exactly as advertised - super clean, in an excellent location, and plenty of room for our family of four (two boys - 4 and 7). I was especially impressed with the communication, the labels by all of the light and fan switches (so user-friendly!), and the cleanliness and coziness of the place. The kitchen was very well stocked (there was even a Vitamix!) - although if you are planning on cooking a lot, you will need to bring your own basics beyond salt and pepper (not a complaint, just a heads up if you plan to stay here). The walk to the Kamaole Beach parks 2 and 3 is short, and it's a very short drive to Kam 1, if you decide to go there. Because of the location to family friendly beaches, this turned out to be a perfect place for our family to spend Christmas boogie boarding! Lots of restaurants and amenities nearby. The host was very warm and responsive. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This property was as advertised and located in a perfect place across the street from Kam Sands III beach with a lifeguard, the surf there is family friendly and there are resident turtles and a lifeguard. Love that there is little to zero road noise- the a/c works great and the kitchen is well stocked with kitchen utensils. Lots of ice and sand toys. We would definitely stay again!

I recommend this property to anyone visiting Kihei, the location is great, well stocked condo, and well kept property. Neil has everything you need for a day at the beach and a day in if you prefer.

Great place and great location! The community was quiet and the condo was clean. It's a minute walk to the beach, five minute walk to some delicious restaurants and steps from the community pool. We rented a small SUV and it was nice to have a parking space. The condo has a washer and dryer which made it nice to do laundry so we didn't have to pack much. The dryer takes a couple of cycles to actually dry, but still convenient to have. They provided enough beach towels for each of us, towels, washcloths, pots and pans to cook, plates, cups, silverware, two beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, cooler, hand and dish soap, toilet paper for the week and paper towels. They have a few family games that we played. Wi-Fi worked great. I contacted the owner with a couple of questions and he responded quickly. My only complaint would be the master bed as it was way too soft for us, but that's a personal preference. We would highly recommend this condo! We were very pleased with location and amenities.

We were very satisfied with this location. All went smooth, everything was as advertised. The washer and dryer included laundry detergent which was handy.

Location is AWESOME!
We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was AMAZING! The rental was perfect for our family (5 people). Plenty of room for everyone. You cannot beat the location. Right across the street from the beach. The buses in Kihei are so easy to use! Stay here and you will not be disappointed!!!

First time visiting Maui and I had no idea where to stay. My teenagers helped me pick this condo. The condo is nice. The location is fantastic. We walked down the stairs, crossed the road and we are at the beach. The condo doesn’t view the beach but it’s such a short walk. Inside the condo is clean, modem, has AC. We cooked most meals here. The pool was quiet, warm, and comfortable. The property manager was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time hanging at the beach, watching several sunsets on the beach and walking/running each morning to the Shops at Wailea (2 miles away). We had a car, so the parking spot was nice to have. A couple of days were very windy, so we enjoyed the pool too. We walked the area to local shops and restaurants during the day and drove to Lahaina and other areas. An item to note, but is out of the control of the hosts: there are homeless individuals living in the area around the park across the street including parking lots and tree/grassy areas. Unfortunately, this is an issue in many states. For activities, the Kai Kanini deluxe sunrise snorkel catamaran to Molokini was excellent! We enjoyed our stay in this roomy unit and the ceiling fan in the bathroom was a nice addition! The beds were comfortable. I would suggest they add additional beach chairs. There were two, but with three of us, we had to share. The beach umbrella was great to have! Thanks for a nice vacation!

The balcony was really nice as well; we appreciated the drying rack to hang/dry our clothes at night. If I remember correctly, I think the chairs out on the balcony show some wear and the sofas were the kind that you sink into, but these are matters of personal preference. We didn't think we'd need/want/use the pool, but it was really nice having access to it and our kids swam half the days we were there. The wifi and all the TV apps that we used worked great as well. It truly felt like we were comfortable and at home. This is a good one - it's expensive, but everything in Maui is. Consider yourself lucky if it's available for your needs!

If you stay here or in Kihei area, I’d highly recommend trying Coconut’s Fish Cafe, Paia Fish Market, and Cafe O’Lei restaurants.

A Little Gem
Honestly the place was so clean and tidy, it was right near the beach and so amazing. Everything was so smooth but I am an idiot and didn’t look at my email to get into the place. But aside from user error it was perfect and just beautiful all around!

we really appreciated the proximity to Kam III. The condo is roomy and the kitchen is well stocked(although could not find a coffee grinder). Otherwise all utensils and equipment needed. Owner very responsive to questions and very helpful. Condo clean and bed comfortable. We enjoyed our stay
