Home Details: Welcome to ‘Feeling Good Again,’ a distinguished eight-bedroom vacation rental in Seaside, Florida. Known to many as the Vera Bradley Bed and Breakfast, this iconic home is a 30A landmark that sits steps away from the town square and beaches made famous by The Truman Show.

The picture-perfect, Thermador Range featured kitchen comes complete with the most up-to-date appliances, a farmhouse style sink, and an abundance of counter and cabinet space. The home spans over 5,500 square-feet, offering sleeping arrangements for 22 guests in the form of a main house and two carriage houses. House had parts that weren't accessible, so we could go to roof top balcanoy. House is need of major repairs. House had 4 rolls of toilet paper for 20 people that stayed 1 week. The wrist bands provided by agency for beach were terrible. They broke and we were charged $150 for each new band needed. This is a beach house that had no beach towels so we had to go to a store to buy some for 20 people.

The property was close to restaurants, beach, and shops making it very convenient. Love the size and # of bedrooms to accommodate our group of 10 business associates.

This house was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 7 kids. We liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the suite on the third floor for the kids had a small living area where they could hang out. It’s just a few steps from downtown seaside and close to the East Ruskin pavilion for beach access. We had an issue with the AC, but the management company was quick to fix it. The house could definitely use some updates, such as new carpet, etc., there were a couple small issues with water leaking in through a door and through one of the fire sprinklers on the ceiling, and more storage in the bedrooms would be nice. The dishwasher was a little difficult to work, the dryer sometimes requires a couple cycles to get towels dried, and the railing on the roof was a little unsturdy. We notified management of those items, so hopefully they will be addressed. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and plan to book it again next year. I would definitely recommend this house for large groups.

While as noted, some of the property is under repair, big steps have been taken to make this a great property. We hit a snag when we checked in, but the property manager found a solution very quickly. Any small issues we had through the week were addressed within the hour or so. With the size and location, this is a unique property that can fill a lot of needs. We hope to be back!

The best part of this house was the location. The kitchen sink was cracked, the chandelier hadn’t been cleaned in a VERY long time, the widows walk railings and back stairway were weak and unsafe. There was water damage on the ceiling and wall in the kitchen. We had to ask for silverware as we only had 8 forks, no spoons except serving and the house was full of cockroaches. For what we paid for the house for one week we feel very cheated. Very subpar.

We had a fantastic time at this home. It's location is frankly incredible - you can walk across the street and you are in the heart of Seaside, and it's maybe 250 yards from the beach. And it's huge - so many rooms, great living room, fun game room, and huge porches. I would happily recommend the home anytime. The property manager was great as well - made check-in easy and got back to us when we had questions really quickly. Our only negatives at all were small, and probably easily fixable before the next tenant arrives. One was no pantry space at all - the one cabinet to store food was locked by the owner, so we just had to keep all the (non-refrigerated) food on the countertops. The other was that it seemed like the cleaning crew had swept sand from prior guests underneath the rug in the main room. We had to pull it up and sweep it ourselves. None of that was a big deal at all, we LOVED the place and had a fantastic time, but was just sort of weird. We'd happily come back.
