Welcome to Water's Edge 2.0! 30 feet from the Water's Edge...This magical place is a portal to a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Whether you bring your whole family, close friends, you are desiring a romantic get-away... or... luxuriating in "just me" time, this "Peace of Paradise" will REFRESH, RELAX and REJUVENATE, so you leave feeling ready to go back to your crazy fast paced life in the "Real World"! Water's Edge is nestled on Holmes Harbor on Whidbey Island.

CURRENT Interior Pictures will be coming shortly. Now features white trim and gray walls. Stainless appliances. Updated color schemes and gorgeous new tile. No longer "outdated". Garage is not accessible as still have to clean out paint can's, left over tile, etc. Listing seems to indicate that pets are allowed, as they used to be. Waiting for the system to update our change to no pets or children under 13, as we need to protect the large investment in the update and ensure no damage occurs by any guests staying at Water's Edge.

Water views with vibrant wildlife pour in through the windows as it is literally 30' from the "Water's Edge". You can feel it, You can taste it, smell and most definitely enjoy it!

The house is just finishing up being updated and is sleek and modern. The downstairs master has an adjustable, vibrating KING-sized bed to relax in as you "soak" in the incredible views while lolling about in bed. The master bath has a stand alone "soaking" tub along with a curb-less shower.

Water's Edge has been stunningly modernized. You will have the honor of being the first guests at Water's Edge 2.0 as you rejoice in the JOY of this Holiday Season. We can't wait for you to soak in all of the fabulous finish updates in this legacy property. Light, bright, spacious home that offers a wonderful space for you and your posse to thoroughly expand, relax and create lasting "Forever Memories" this Holiday Season .

Every room (but the bathrooms) offers fabulous views of the harbor. Enjoy the Light Therapy as the light reflecting off the water projects wellness into every pore of your body.

Whidbey Island has all sorts of festivals, summer through winter. The water always seems to draw plenty of fireworks on New Year's Eve and the 4th of July. What spectacular shows!

Nichols Brother's launches their boats right in front of the house every time they have completed one, maybe you will get to see one of them launched during your stay?

Large yard with lots of privacy. Come for the wineries and quaint shops, stay for the romance and the inspiration. Sit around the firepit enjoying the wine you just picked up at a local winery and listen to the birds, as the waves lull you into a peaceful trance, relaxing your tired soul. Absorb the symphony created by the seals, cranes, eagles, seagulls, and so much more!!!

The home named Floating on Water is great for two guests. The oceanview from the master bedroom is awesome. And makes this home very unique. The living area is not only very nice but special as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and is very large. The house is located on a very quiet lot with the best view of the harbor/ocean area. It is close by and almost within walking distance of the Freeland downtown area. It is also very close to a large park on the ocean. That is great for walking a dog.

Wonderful views of the water. We loved watching the seals and sitting in the garden. Picked some apples and wild blackberries. Great long weekend. Would stay again.

I loved the location. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need. The house is dated but was clean & it was nice to have a garage to put my car in. Very private. I would have liked access to the beach from the property but that is available a short distance away.

I really enjoyed the view and the quiet location. I forgot that there wasn’t beach access from the property but that worked out ok since the water was so close to the house, Like mentioned in reviews I read, the house is dated. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was easy to use. All in all it was a good stay.

We came for a peaceful stay away from town. The views from the yard and house were amazing - especially the sunrises over the water. We left the screens opens d fell asleep tk the sounds of waves and owls. A family of seals would stay on a floating deck nearby and were great to watch. Easy stay for a peaceful time.

We enjoyed leaving the sliding glass doors open (with screens) and being awakened by seals grunting in the morning. The place is super cute; perfect for a couple get away for the weekend. Beach access is down the road 6-7 houses, but honestly we just enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the waves while drinking our morning coffee.... or evening cocktails.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The very comfortable, well appointed house is so close to the waters edge on Honeymoon Bay that we could hear even the smallest waves…together with the sea air and cool breeze, it was so incredibly relaxing both day and night. The outdoor space is beautiful and spacious. We look forward to staying at this property again!

The location, the view, and the 1200 sq ft of well-designed ground-level space made this stay superb. Plus, we had use of the garage. Communication with the owner was excellent. The detailed check-in/check-out information was very helpful in enjoying our stay, both while at the property and for our excursions. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Rented this property for my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately there was a large storm that weekend and we lost heat, electricity and internet at 8pm. It was super cold, drafty and dark during the storm. Kids were scared and we were up all night. Ended up leaving first thing when there was daylight. Overall we ended up paying for the entire weekend stay, a birthday bummer and loss of money. The host offered us an “off season” time within the year to come back but the 2 weekdays we wanted she thought were to hard to give up. Things to mention that I find helpful: No check-out instruction booklet in the house, It’s a bit out of date, cabin like, if you are a family of 4, there is a pull out sofa bed (uncomfortable). The queen bed is an orthopedic bed that has a remote control that lowers and raises, this was a first for us to sleep in, very weird. No access to beach from the house. (Didn’t matter because the tide was so high that there really isn’t a beach). Kids wanted to use the bathtub with jacuzzi jets, but their wasn’t enough warm water to even fill to the bottom of the jet. A very shallow warm bath, better off taking a shower. Best part was the view.
