Amazing Experience

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Backpackers Park in Varanasi, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. As a budget traveler, I'm always on the lookout for affordable yet comfortable accommodation, and Backpackers Park delivered just that.

Good hotel, clean, friendly enough, comfortable enough, but the location was an experience ~

Clean and all amenities were in working order ~ Hotel staff were available but not pushy ~ No bugs! ~ Great view from rooftop cafe ~ Hotel is located in a very old neighborhood, accessed along narrow twisty lanes, near a Mukesh ghat but off the main drag, which is kinda cool .....

The hotel is located in a very old neighborhood, accessed along narrow twisty lanes . . . that stink ~ Clouds of flies, occasional piles of poop ~ To be clear: the hotel itself is clean and in quite comfortable, but the two-minute walk between the front door and the main lane is a bit much ~

Try to Find a better one, if you don't 1 day stay here is okay

Closer to kedar ghat. Rooftop has a good view of ghats and river Ganges.

Good location, but really bad staff and no licence to keep guests!

It was very luxurious, very clean. It smelled very nice

So they checked me in and after a few hours they told me I have to leave because they don't have the licence to keep me there. I am a female solo traveller and had to go out late in the evening, it was already dark outside, and go to a new hotel. They did not have Wifi, even though they wrote it on the website plus in the location as well.

NEVER CHOOSE THIS PROPERTY

Almost nothing, it was one of our worst experiences in the trip choosing this property.

It was one of our worst experiences. The room and its bathroom weren't clean at all. We even found cigarette ash in the toilet paper holder in the WC. Toilet paper was not available, and when requested only 1 piece were delivered, and for the next pieces we had to wait until next day. The surrounding area was really dirty and not clean at all. I would never recommend this neighborhood. They didn't have card payment facilities available, and were asking for cash payment. The price for the room was high and the photos didn't reflect the reality at all.

Locations is near Ghat ,

location is deep inside, where not even Bike taxi go to the location, Bedding wasn't comfortable, bedsheet was rough. Food isn't served here , not even breakfast or water.

The location near ghat makes it the best. Staff was polite yes safe as I was the only female traveller in the whole property.

Location to reach the property was difficult at first. There were no breakfast, lunch arrangements and as hostel was empty so not so delighted.

Decent enough but could've been better

Rooftop and view from there was nice. Rooms were clean. Staff person named kamlesh was helpful.

Restaurant/Cafe is closed, rooms are a bit dark. highly understaffed right now. The place has good potential and can be a really good option someday. Right now its just a bit disappointing. (Comparing with other locations I stayed at.) No amenities other than free wifi.

Way to the hostel is very dirty and no proper route. Washroom was not clean. Bed was not clean. We had to change the covers and sheets on our own. No locks to the dorm room doors. Random man walked in. No safety

It has potential but worth the view.

The Location, View from the terrace and the Beds! This hostel is comfortable and Sonu Bhaiyya will make ends meet to make it comfortable for you. It is located equidistant from both Assi and Dashashwamedh Ghat so you’d not be walking much to go either way. Also it’s right on Kedar Ghat which will get you to the riverbank right away.

Professionalism! Though Sonu bhaiyya was trying his level best to be, the hostel seemed more like a lodge. This hostel has a curfew at 11pm so if you’re stuck outside post that, it might take you hours to get in. The lift isn’t working and you will get wifi only on the terrace, which is on the 5th floor. There is no mobile network in the dorms so you can sleep peacefully.
