Horrible

The central location

I was in Almyrida 3 nights for a wedding. I arrived in the evening on the first night and found out that the airconditioning did not work. Since the reception was already closed I tried to go to sleep. It was a horrible night with a choice between an open window with mosquitos and loud car noises (the view from the room is a road) or a closed window with a sauna temperature in the room. The next morning I went to the reception early and adressed the issue first with someone from the diving center since the manager was not there yet and after with the manager. He called the mechanic but the problem could only be fixed the next day. Since I really had to get some sleep before the wedding I chose to book another apartment (which was quite a hassle and expensive). The manager told me I had to arrange a refund with booking since he could not but he would confirm the situation with booking. They now want me to pay for two nights (and I have only stayed for one sleepless night)! Unacceptable, unfair and very bad service. I am not one to easily give a bad review but this really badly affected my short stay, while a fair solution would have sorted the issue for me.

Good spot to stay to be central to amenities. You can get to shops,tavernas and the beach without tr

Good value for money,very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and wanted our stay to be pleasant. We had wine , water ,fruit and tea and coffee provided on arrival. We only stayed five nights but mid way through our room was cleaned and fresh linen and towels were provided.

Apartment was spacious, practical and cozy. Everything was close and we liked Almyrida and it's beaches.
