About this cabin rental

This beautiful cabin is rented with pride! Cabin is clean and updated with
new carpeting and new furniture on a private, peaceful street. Fully
furnished, two bedroom, one bathroom. Sleeps (6). Can sleep (8) with our
La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa. Appliances (including washer and dryer),
linens, kitchenware ... everything you need to make your vacation
comfortable and convenient. The cabin also has a new gas fireplace, an
attached deck with propane bbq grille, a community fire pit with wooden
swing, picnic table and chairs.

From the INCLUDED dock on the property, go one direction to access Mullet
Lake and the other direction to access Burt Lake! Also, there is a public
boat launch conveniently located just a few blocks away.

Enjoy the sandy bottom inland waterway lakes with over 10,000 acres of
enjoyable boating, swimming, tubing, and fishing. Nearby lakes and rivers
to swim, canoe, kayak or just sit by the shore and relax! Also near
several state parks and beaches.

Close to downtown Indian River, Cheboygan, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor
Springs, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island for all kinds of different
activities.

We had a wonderful time at your cabin! Spotless and packed with everything we could possibly need. Was a bit chilly for a couple days so thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. We caught some fish and were able to use the fish cleaning shack. Tell Liam we looked high and low for dinosaurs but had no sightings. We'll try again when we visit your cabin next time.! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Quiet perfect location between the lakes! Boat dock was right in front of cabin. We enjoyed the quiet setting with friendly neighbors. Cabin had all the amenities as listed. Great stay!

Everything was perfect. We have a small family of 4, the bunk beds were great for the kids- but could also sleep an adult. The cabin is small, but has all the necessities. Loved having an outdoor space to sit on the deck and watch boats on the river. The provided dock space is a game changer- our 23’ boat docked there with ease and it made loading / unloading for the day much simpler- the Landings boat launch down the road was also very easy and had no issues. The property has a small stream running through that the kids loved playing in and it just added to the relaxing atmosphere. All in all, wonderful!

It was wonderful and relaxing! We even received a welcome bag full of goodies. The place was immaculate. It was cute and charming with a nice view of the inland waterway. And a little bubbling stream going right through the property. And we like the fact that we could keep our boat right out front on the dock. We will definitely rent this charming log home again!

Stayed for a fishing tournament and chose this for the waterfront location with a dock. It was perfect all around! Nice quiet and very clean neighborhood.

This was our 2nd stay and enjoyed as much as the 1st one. The weather was not the best with Gale warnings on the water. This location provides great shelter for your boat so it doesn't get beat up on a dock in the middle of the lake. The fireplace was great after a cold day on the lake. The cabin is great Thanks for another great stay

We absolutely love staying at this property. It's so clean, great location, and the owner is wonderful to work with. We bring our 20' boat and dock it out front and can be to either downtown Indian River or Mullet lake in 15 minutes via boat. Don't hesitate to stay here!! It's the perfect up north experience.

Quick family vacation in our favorite spot! Beautiful cabin, great neighbors, cute little stream through the property that our kids loved! Nice dock spot for our 20' boat. We would definitely would stay here again! Thank you, Scott!

House was very clean, and as described in the listing. The home was charming, nicely decorated, and cozy. The air mattress on the couch was also pretty comfy, a nice bonus. The boat dock was also a bonus, close to the house and easy in and out. The couple neighbors we saw were very friendly. The community space was nice and well maintained. The property was conveniently located, and perfect for boating on Burt and Mullett. We really enjoyed our stay with friends and will likely return.

We celebrated 4th of July at this property and had a wonderful stay. The location was absolutely perfect for a boat to travel to both Burt and Mullett Lake. The house had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful porch and views the most.

This place was better than expected. Very modern cabin with all the amenities. Close to Mullett Lake for fishing and boat can be tied up right out front of the cabin. Fish cleaning station is very nice too. Host was great for communications and let us check in a little early to get out fishing sooner! would definitely rent again

Cabin is situated on a beautiful Indian River. The cabin is spacious, well decorated and stocked. The owner is thoughtful and available to help. The view of the channel is breathtaking. Easy docking for boat and easy access to all the lakes. Marina close by for launching your boat. Would highly recommend this place!!!

had a great trip to this cabin. Cabin is clean and ready upon arrival, access was easy and the owners were quick to answer any questions we had. Everything you need is supplied for your visit. if your going for the fishing that can be challenge but the lake is beautiful with crystal clear water, just a 45 min drive gets to the ferry to Macinac, if your looking for a peaceful getaway this is a great choice!

Wonderful, quiet, and restful property on the Indian River. Very easy access from the private dock to the inland waterways, where lots of water fun was waiting at Mullet and Burt Lakes. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and full of conveniences. Would highly recommend staying at this quiet retreat for some much-needed R&R.

2nd time staying at this property. Very clean, organized and comfortable place. Boat docking is perfect for ease on getting on/off Indian River. Word of caution, front door gets extremely hot because of being in the direct sun the morning; be careful. We would recommend this property!!!!!

Small but neat cottage, perfect for the two of us. It was nice to be able to dock our boat so we could see it from the cottage. Since the dock is in a small channel off of the Indian River, it is not subject to the wind and waves so we didn’t worry about our boat taking a beating. The water in the canal is very shallow, so be aware of that if you bring a boat. There is a designated spot to park your boat trailer, but it is a little hard to maneuver the trailer into it unless you have a small boat trailer. We loved the nice deck and having a gas grill to use. Cathie was great and answered all of my questions promptly. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Upon arrival and opening the front door, the log cabin feel and cleanliness of the property was incredible. That feeling continued throughout our stay. The location was quiet offering sound sleeping! The property owner was incredibly helpful. The directions, check-in process, and departure were easy. A great place to vacation without worry!!

This was a ladies retreat for some R&R boating down the rivers! It was absolutely fabulous. Our hostess Cathie is AMAZING!! She is on top of every question or request. The cabin was adorable. We had an amazing time!
