This lovely ground floor apartment is set within the superb development known as The Bay, close to Filey. With private access to mile after mile of golden sands, inclusive use of the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gym plus lots of other facilities, this delightful apartment is the perfect excuse to take that well deserved break!

There is a shared games and entertainment room on site. A pool table in the John Paul Jones pub, outside table tennis and more. The apartment is within easy reach of the traditional seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough yet lies on the doorstep of the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds.

With an open plan living area, this well-appointed apartment has a seaside theme and offers bright and cheerful accommodation, tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard.

• Additional facilities and activities are available at an extra cost, payable on-site

Outdoor pursuits include fishing, tennis courts, bike hire and a putting green. The nearby pub serves food and provides WiFi, and a chemist that sells essentials close at hand. You can opt for a pleasant 15 minute walk to a lovely, Blue Flag sandy beach. The North York Moors offers awesome scenery designed for cycling, walking or just appreciating from the comfort of the highly recommended North York Moors Railway. With the majestic city of York only an hours drive away and the magnificent Castle Howard described by Lonely Planet as one of the world's top ten greatest mansions and grand houses, this apartment provides an ideal base for a memorable holiday.

Guests will be able to use the swimming pool and gym for free via the owners pass. The John Paul Jones on site allows dogs.

sofa not at all comfy . bed needs a king size duvet. i think a clothes airer to dry wet clothes would be good. maybe a pizza cutter. sharpen all knives. better quality toilet paper. and better signage on key safe. apart from the latter very good.

we had a fabulous week at the Bay Village in Filey our apartment was just perfect for us ,spotlessly clean, everything we needed , we had a short walk to the beautiful beach and swimming pool on site plus a pub/and shop . we will be back and very nr to scarborough and bridlington simply fabulous

A lovely small apartment with all the facilities you might need. Nice and quiet, especially at night. Facilities on resort were good but we didn’t really use them. Easy to get to and good host communication. Remember, if arriving by public transport, although there is a shop on site it charges premium rates. (3miles from Filey) Good base for travelling and sightseeing.

We've just spent the new year at Lucy's apartment. It was comfortable and stylish, immaculately clean and decorated for the Christmas season. Lucy had left a welcome note, and there were other personal touches which made a nice difference. Communications before, during & after our stay were excellent, checkin was easy, and the location was great. Dog friendly and ground floor. Can't wait to return. The apartment is compact, clean and modern, with everything you need for a home-from-home break away. The Bay village itself is tidy and well kept, with a nice pub and useful shop. We would definitely stay here again. Our little dogs were made to feel welcome in the apartment, with some treats left for them. Smashing.

This was a lovely flat with amenities 5 minutes away. Was a short distance to Scarborough by car and we got lovely weather. Paul Jones pub was great food service a bit slow and they forgot our order on two occasions, but don't let it put you off.parking okay eventually

I booked the property on behalf of my in-laws, we had already booked a property on the bay for the weekend and they decided to also stay. They found the property clean, comfortable and with everything they could need for a comfortable stay for two. The property was close to the pub, shop and swimming pool and also within easy walking distance of the beach. A personalised note from the owner wishing the guests a pleasant stay was a nice little touch. Would definitely consider a stay here again :)

Fabulous stay in a perfect location. Lucy was the perfect host. Communication was spot on and Harrison’s little treats were such a lovely touch. The apartment was very clean and suited all our needs. The Bay site was fabulous, clean and quiet considering it was half term. Everyone was very pleasant and the teams in the shop, leisure centre etc were very friendly. The apartment we stayed in was extremely clean, I was so impressed with how clean it was on arrival and even smelled new! The bedding etc was immaculate and definitely lived up to our expectations. Lucy was amazing beforehand and gave us all the info we needed and stayed in touch throughout. So helpful and informative and also very friendly. She even left our little poodle a treat on arrival. We will definitely be returning.
