AREA
This Ancient Golden triangle comprises Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo de’Fiori, the Jewish Quarter, the Riverside and the Piazza di Torre Argentina, so named by Johann Burchard , master of ceremonies of five popes from 1483, who owned the land in the area on the remains of the Theatre of Pompey and the Pantheon, one of the Ancient World’s best preserved monuments. Also within walking distance is the oldest Jewish quarter of Europe. Established as a result of the Papal bull, by Pope Paul IV in 1555, today the Ghetto is a vibrant quarter packed with many shops, cafés and restaurants, including a number of Kosher establishments and incorporates the Via del Portico d'Ottavia, seat of the ancient Fish Market and boarding the Teatro Marcello, whose construction was planned by Julius Caesar with the intent to rival the Theatre of Pompey in Campo Marzio, inaugurated in 13 B.C.
The Piazza Navona is considered by many to be Rome’s most beautiful Piazza. Built on the site of the 1st century A.D., Stadium of Domitian, and was transformed into the most celebrated example of Baroque Roman architecture during the pontificate of Innocent X, whose family palace, the Palazzo Pamphili, faced the piazza. It features important sculptural and architectural creations, such as the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or Fountain of the Four Rivers (1651) by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, topped by the Obelisk of Domitian, the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone by Francesco Borromini, and the aforementioned Pamphili palace, that accommodates the long gallery designed by Borromini and frescoed by Pietro da Cortona.
At the southwest end of the piazza is the ancient “speaking” statue of Pasquino. Erected in 1501, Romans would routinely leave lampooning political or derogatory social comments attached to the statue.
During its history, the piazza hosted theatrical events and from 1652 until 1866, when the festival was suppressed, it was flooded on every Saturday and Sunday in August in elaborate celebrations of the Pamphilj family. The pavement level was raised in the 19th century and the market was moved again in 1869 to the nearby Campo de' Fiori.
This is truly Rome’s most characteristic and exciting area, with an uncompromising choice of monuments within walking distance. Shop at the daily open market of Campo de’Fiori or dine out in the Historic Jewish Quarter, walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the lively Trastevere Quarter which is just a five minutes across the foot bridge. Also close to the Historic Center’s main transport hub in Largo Argentina, with express buses to Termini and tram service directly to the Trastevere station and on-going connections to the Airport.
Well serviced, there are also a number of supermarkets, gyms and shops nearby. Truly an excellent location and an oasis of quiet and beauty from which to explore Rome's multilayered historical district.

Friends trip to Rome. This apartment was perfect. Clean, well stocked, and such a great location. This spacious apartment was perfect for our group of 5. We never felt cramped. In a wonderful building, within a wonderful neighborhood. Right off the square with many good restaurants and awesome daily Farmer’s market.

This was the perfect place for a family of siblings and cousins. The location was central to all the places you want to visit but far enough away from the tourist traps. Very attentive property manager with a very smooth check in process.

This apartment spoiled us for all other apartments on our trip. The location is perfectly centralized for all the sights and activities. We had plenty of space to stretch out and spend time together and the many rooms and bathrooms gave us privacy as well. I highly recommend booking this apartment. You will not regret it.

We had six people stay at the property. Two couples and two singles. There was more than enough room. My mother who is 90 stayed with us and really appreciated the elevator.
The Property is very well appointed and clean. It had more space than we needed.
The location is fantastic. 100 yds in one direction is Piazza Navona and 100yds in the other is Campo de Fiori. Some of the best Roman food is available at the Campo de Fiori.
There is a taxi stand right across the street which is super convenient if you are traveling across the city.
FYI: The bakery just downstairs is amazing. The women working there are very nice.

What an amazing apartment and amazing location! Our family loved waking up to the bustling area and grabbing a morning coffee and shopping the vendors at Campo di' Fiori. Then strolling through Pizazza Navona and picking a place for lunch. We had our elderly mother with us and the elevator access to the building was a huge plus. Plenty of room to spread out for larger groups. A taxi stand is literally across the street. The check-in and check-out process was a snap. I would highly recommend staying here.

We were in the midst of everything in Rome, and loved it. In addition to a spacious, airy apartment, we had the benefit of a wonderful bakery right downstairs.

We loved our stay in this gorgeous and spacious apartment! It’s centrally located to all things Rome and right near a taxi stand if needed. The apartment itself is stunning and comfortable! (The air conditioning worked well and was welcome during the heat of the day). The kitchen is well stocked and we made a delicious meal one evening with fresh food purchased locally in the market. The area is safe, the apartment is quiet and the owner helpful. 100% recommend!

The location was fantastic as a central point to explore in any direction. The place was amazing, spacious and the hosts were very helpful and kind. We highly recommend!
4.0 / 5.0
This apartment is quite spacious and comfortable, and had everything our multi-generational family needed. Samuel was very responsive (not that we had any trouble) and the airport transfers to and from were fantastic. We liked the maps, guide books, umbrellas, power adapters, and other "extras" that were obviously set out to help guests. The beds are comfortable, and the common/lounge spaces are as well. We only turned the heat on one night but otherwise really didn't need it, even in November. Having the bakery right downstairs for coffee and pastries in the morning was fabulous! Plentiful restaurants in every direction. The elevator was also a big plus. The location is nice - an easy 20-25 minute walk to either the Vatican/Castel Sant Angelo in one direction, and to the Colosseum in the other, with Piazza Navona and the Pantheon much closer than that. We used Uber and taxis to get to the train station for our day trip. Our only issue was street noise at night affecting the master bedroom since it faces the main street. One of us is a light sleeper and more affected, but even the pro sleeper had trouble a couple of nights (even with a white noise app in the background) as you can hear lively groups leaving bars or restaurants until 2 am. The other 3 bedrooms are quite quiet. If you plan to stay up late anyway, no problem!

An amazing location and plenty of space for our family of 7. We booked this at the last minute when the house we had booked originally didn’t work out. It was the best decision we could have made. It was within walking distance of many of the landmarks we wanted to see. There were great restaurants nearby, as well as a market we enjoyed visiting. The property manager was great to work with and very responsive when we had questions. If I find myself back in Rome, I hope this apartment will be available again.

We travelled to Rome for my sister’s wedding and the apartment was perfect. It is very spaciois and accommodated 6 of us. The high ceilings are an added bonus and it makes the space feel that much bigger. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the bedrooms; we know and understand that room dimensions in Europe can be smaller. That was certainly not the case in this apartment. Everything was very clean! We enjoyed sitting in the “dining area” either around the large dining table or in the sitting area. There is also a living room too. Truly spacious and we ALWAYS felt like we had enough room and no one was crowded.
The location is superb; steps in either direction from the Campo de Fiore (market each morning and restaurants) and the Piazza Navona. Also the quaint street that the apartment is located on has a fantastic bakery next door. Highly recommend it for fresh assortment of baked goods, meats and espresso/cafe americano. Also, just a few feet down that street is an amazing gelato shop, which is open late into the night with lots of unique flavors (they also make crepes)! Everyone we coordinated with for the apartment was fantastic. Samuel was our point of contact and he followed up with us (even reaching out before our travel) to confirm we received all the necessary information for our arrival. Setting up transport from the airport was super easy. And once we arrived Samuel provided a thorough description of the apartment and neighborhood. Our customs line upon arrival was VERY long and it took well over an hour and a half. Samuel contacted us to confirm our whereabouts and was very understanding of the time frame (as was our driver).
Lastly, I want to personally thank both Samuel and Veronika for their responsiveness. On the morning of our last day, we contacted them early to inquire about changing our transport pick up (bumping up the time by 30 min). They quickly accommodated our very last-minute request. The driver was there and waiting! We truly appreciate this!
Overall, we highly recommend this location. One thing to keep in mind is the master bedroom does face a public street so you will have some “higher” noise than in the other three bedrooms. But you’re in Rome and it’s part of the experience! That being said, the other three bedrooms had absolutely no noise!
Showers were great- water pressure slightly low in the other en-suite bathroom (not as spacious as the other two showers). Book this place!! Its fantastic!

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. It is in an A plus location between Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori. The layout is great and the air conditioning worked very well. There is a COOP grocery store one block away and a bakery on the ground floor right next to the building. We would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be in the center of Rome!

Excellent location! Well-equipped apt with so much space! Lift made apt accessible for our wheelchair and walker group members. The library is amazing and there are even games for kids! Would live here if I lived in Rome!

Air conditioning works well, kitchen is outfitted nicely, and there are guidebooks, sports balls, laundry, electrical adapters and a library available. The apartment made our Rome trip relaxed, comfortable and in rhythm with locals.

Our time in the condo was great. The condo was clean and well-appointed with all the necessities for our week stay. The management company habitat Italy was very helpful from the first moment of booking until our departure. They even helped us plan our tours and excursions. The apartment is much more spacious than the pictures indicate and the owners provide all the necessities. It accomodated our group of seven very well. My daughter I had a great time practicing our piano on the beautiful Steinway. The location is very central to many of the centro storico attractions. We were less than five minutes from Campo de Frio, Piazza Novanna and the Pantheon.
4.0 / 5.0
If you need a central location to the heart of Rome, this is the space. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living space is plentiful. The apartment is very well maintained, however, we were surprised that we had to supply toilet paper that we felt should have been stocked for us. The water pressure in all showers is very low and there is no hot water in the master bath shower. Five of us had to share the second bathroom for showers. There are amazing places to eat within feet of the front entrance. One caution...the nightlife outside this apartment is lively, until 3 or 4am. If you need quiet space, this is not the place for you. I used a sound machine to help drown out the sound. The management staff were polite and very accommodating in helping us set up car services and recommending tours. They stocked the house very well with groceries for our stay.
