Fantastic property, unbelievable views and close proximity to the beach.

Even though we arrived around an hour earlier than expected, the fantastic property manager Maria met us within 5 minutes of calling and gave us a tour of the house. Everything was spotless and the balcony and pool were just being finished cleaning as we arrived 🧼 the rooms were spacious and the view absolutely spectacular. The location was fantastic as well, right by the beach, overlooking the Boardwalk. We loved having a drink out on the balcony, people watching everyone going to the beach. The pool was the perfect size, very private and so refreshing after a long day either exploring the town or relaxing on the sun loungers. We had morning sun on the balcony and a bit of shade/ relief from the heat in the afternoon, which was great. It was also a quiet area, with no noisy parties at night from neighbours. There was a big supermarket only a short Uber ride away which is very handy. There was a TV, which was great for watching the Euro matches! The kitchen had everything we needed (cutlery, cutting boards, etc).

If we had to be nitpicky, we would've appreciated some more cleaning supplies left. We only stayed for a week, but would've appreciated some cleaning sprays being left so we could've more easily tidied up after us. There also was a hoover available on the garage, but we didn't know how to use it (though I'm sure we could've asked!). We also were unsure of what to do with our rubbish, as there were only small bins left for us and no larger outdoor bins. Again, we could've asked, so this may be on us.

Exceptional

The property is absolutely beautiful, amazing beaches right in front of you only 5 minutes from town and house has breathtaking views. Would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great villa, great location

Location was excellent, close to the beach and within walking distance from Lagos old town. Others have mentioned that bypassers could look into the garden, but it seems the wall has been raised as we didn´t find that to be the case. We would definately come back.

Minor things: No beach towels provided, which we had expected. It would have been good with an umbrella to provide shade on the top floor balcony.

Spoilt by the roadworks

Nice view of the sea , contemporary design of the building,

No pool towels provided No mention of ongoing road works 3mtrs away , spoiling the view and filling the property with a fine dust every day , noisy machinery, lorry’s etc ongoing for months beforehand and I would imagine for months more , its unacceptable not to mention this anywhere before the booking is made , so beware !!

Fabulous break in a fantastic property close enough to the shops and restaurants in Old Town Lagos.

Spacious, very comfortable, had everything we needed. Lovely pool. Good outside space.

Passers by looking over the wall into the pool area. Sofa was not comfortable and tired in appearance. No hooks in bathrooms for towels.

Cameras watching you and no warm water

The house has a cool modern design and great floorplan. I also appreciated the proximity to Camillo Restaurant and the beach.

The hot water cut out after a few days in and nobody came to fix or investigate. So nice house and cold water forced us to cut our stay short. Also beware there are cameras right outside the bedroom and living spaces.

Good

Due to position of property, no late afternoon or evening sun at all. Also there was building work going on, on other new properties. As the weather for us was not so great we did not spend too much time around pool. If you are lucky with the weather we think the building work could be an issue.

Superb

Amazing location. Just a stone’s throw away from the beach. House is quite well designed, with a pool, tasteful decor, etc The morning sunrise is simply astounding. They also provide 3 towels each for all guests. The welcome Christmas cake by Maria was a nice surprise :)

Minor - There are some minor leakages in the house, nothing that can’t be fixed though. (From ceiling in the ground floor and in the kitchen area) Major - There needs to be a stand to keep soap or hang towels in the bathroom. Additional- There should be a heated pool at these prices at least.
