Schönes Appartment in sehr ruhiger Gegend. Hafenpromendade zu Fuss in rund 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Very pleasant stay.

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! The place was comfortable and clean. The grounds were also lovely. We also enjoyed having a kitchenette, washer/dryer and being close to a grocery store.

The price was a little high, though it is hard to find accommodation in this area, so I guess they are taking advantage of the scarcity.

Everything was perfect, cosy old building, with everything one needs for a family holiday. Clean, fresh, and outside was a nice place to sit and eat and watch the view. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Exceptional

Il Molino hits the mark on so many things it's almost too difficult to list them all. The apartment has such a charming character, with all the amenities you would find in a modern luxurious accommodation. The view is to die for, the quietness and the surroundings are simply top-notch. Very rarely we stayed at an accommodation and felt so much at home and eager to return. We also do not usually give a shout-out to our host, Mauro and his trusted housekeeper, Annarita. What a delight to meet this great team, and learn from them more about this great spot that Tuscany has to offer.

Nothing, really. Actually, one might say that a bit nuisance of Italian summers are the mosquitos, but Mauro and Annarita had an answer for that too: we were well stocked up with Citronella candles throughout our stay, and despite the occasional bite that wasn't enough to spoil our evenings; staying outdoor soaking in the view of Cala Galera marina and the old Spanish fort is an absolute must.

Mauro the host is the absolute best host EVER!!! The place is super quaint, charming and beautiful and just renovated. Book this place now!! Super close to all the beaches, town, restaurants!!!! Thank you Mauro!!!!!

It was a nice stay.

Very basic breakfast offering of water, coffee, milk, yogurt. The location is beautiful, the property interesting with a nice view of the bay and central to exploring monte Argentario. The owner greeted me on the phone and offered assistance. The woman who greeted me in Italian at the property was very pleasant. In sum, I had a nice short stay and value was good for self sufficient accommodations. I would recommend it.

The internet was very unreliable and almost useless for meeting work needs. The property offers a basic kitchen with basic cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cups. However believe it or not, there were no utensils for eating. Not sure what happened there but it was an inconvenience for me.

Peaceful and scenic stone mill house

The property has two small flats converted from a stone mill building. The location is great, with a beautiful garden and grounds, full of herbs, flowers, an orchard and olive groves. We stayed in the top flat which was airy and comfortable, very well equipped for all needs, clean and with a beautiful view of the sea, the port and the surrounding hills and fort. The service was friendly, effective and really nice. The property is very close to the busy town of Porto Ercole and the Feniglia but once you are there you are far away from the noise and busy beach life and tucked away in beautiful and aromatic surroundings. Definitely recommended!

Peaceful stay and beautiful views

We had a lovely stay in the upper flat of the house. You feel very peaceful and relaxed as there’s not much around save the insects, birds and flowers - although it’s very quick and easy to get into town for dinner etc. We loved the view of the marina and enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace. The bed is super comfy and the rooms are very quiet so we had some excellent sleep. The place is keen and the housekeeper comes every day to tidy up. Mauro the host is very kind and gave us a bottle of homemade olive oil which we enjoyed with fresh tomatoes from his orchard! Delicious! We enjoyed Porto Ercole on the whole and Mauro suggested hiring a boat which is something we would highly recommend. Thank you Mauro!

There’s a few insects around especially at night but this is normal for the area - the property has lots of insect repellent stuff anyway!

Private lodging, everyday cleaning, robes provided, beautiful setting with view of water and mountains, vegetable garden & olive trees & roses, walking distance to Porto Ercole, wifi, excellent accommodations for cooking and short walk to market, friendly and very helpful/responsive owner that speaks English very well.
