Perfect place to stay in East Hampton

Breakfast was fantastic. A huge bowl of fruit, natural yoghurt (hard to come by in American hotels we found) and nice juices

Great location, great staff, lousy local town governance.

Staff was wonderful, especially Sheila who seems to be available all day and night. We joked asking her if she ever slept. The entire staff was lovely.

While we had a newly updated room and it was lovely, the rest of the facility was tired, long overdue for a major renovation. Unfortunately, the zoning board. code enforcement, building department in East Hampton does not want to change the character of the town, which is understandable, but they have made it impossible to have business owners and employers make the investment int their facilities to delight their customers. There has to be a less restrictive middle ground, particularly inside a facility.

We went for our anniversary didn’t have to lift a finger everything was amazing.

Every thing was wonderful from the staff, breakfast, suppling chairs and umbrellas. Everything was perfect.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Returned after dinner wanted to shower at 8 and there was no hot water

Tired , not what you expect.

Lack of hot water in the evening , broken shower Breakfast was minimal. No staff

Room smells of tobacco. Cobwebs on lamps. No toothbrush. Receptionist said she was going to give me bigger room but it was small.

Rosemary is very kind and helpful. She gave me good hints about nice beaches

My room was renewed and nice. Fresh yellow roses a touch

The carpet on the stairs and aisle are old and dirty also the property needs paint and a little love. The breakfast in the first day just bread no butter or jelly. Fruits always the same strawberries and blueberries. Variety would be good. I don’t drink milk. No other options

Breakfast was basic continental style. Room was comfortable and location perfect.

The bed creaked if you moved the slightest bit. The shower was either really hot or really cold, no in-between. Room cleaning came into the room when we left the hotel to explore the area, even though I did not put the thing on the door knob indicating that I wanted the room serviced.

Staff are very nice and accommodating.

The property is old and the rooms are dated. Bed is uncomfortable, windows and walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone that walks past the door or outside, shower is a tiny stream. For $500 a night I at least expect a decent bed and shower.
