In the middle of tea plantation WOW!!

I loved everything, the owner and his family are stars, they make everything possible to make you feel like home. It was just amazing, super clean, super friendly. just perfect. It exceeded my expectations. You are in the middle of a tea plantation WOW!!!, sooo quiet and still so close to the train station. An absolute gem. This place is highly recommended :-) This is the place to stay in Ella :-)

Απίστευτη θέα και πανέμορφο σπιτάκι λες και είναι απο ταινία

Πολύ όμορφο κατάλυμα και καθαρό με αυλή που είχε θέα στο βουνό και φαινότανε ο Βούδας… είναι στην μέση του δάσους από τον κεντρικό δρόμο κατεβαίνετε κάποια σκαλιά περίπου 3 λεπτά διαδρομή με τα πόδια. Αν είστε λάτρεις της φύσης θα σας αρεσει αρκετα. Είχε κουνουπιέρα το βράδυ και έτσι απέφυγα τα κουνούπια. Ο οικοδεσπότης και η οικογένεια του μένουν ακριβώς λόγο ποιο κάτω και είναι παντα πρόθυμοι να σε βοηθήσουν με ότι χρειάζεσαι.. παντα ευγενικοί και χαμογελαστοί

Αν έχετε καποιο κινητικό προβλημα δεν θα το συνιστούσα καθώς από τον κεντρικό δρόμο είναι λίγα λεπτά με τα πόδια.

Superb

The view was excellent and the cottage was on it's own, so no noisey neighbours. No noise from the road as the cottage was far enough away for comfort, but not too far to walk. The owner was always very helpful and friendly. He provided food whenever I asked for it, which saved me going to a restauarant. I woud recommend this property.

Exceptional

Wow!! We cannot say enough about the hosts and this property! The hosts (Tissa and his family) were caring, attentive, and warm. We ordered breakfast each morning and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts offer a variety of services that we did not take advantage of (such as scooter rentals). We did book a massage and were happy with the process and service. The property is a private cottage down a steep slope with an incredible view and only a short walk (10 minutes depending on your pace) from the shops and restaurants in Ella. We enjoyed the sounds of nature rather than the town--perfect!! Due to its location, it is not accessible for everyone. In that case, consider the hosts other property up on the road Tree Cool.

Lovely hideaway surrounded by nature

It is a beautiful, remote place which is still ion walking distance from Ella. Amazing view on the stupa across the valley, birds and nature around. The hosts were really helpful and friendly. The nights were fresh which for being in hot Sri Lanka was a real blessing.

An electric water kettle would have been a nice extra and appropriate for the price.

Exceptional

A charming me time place that is nestled in a tea plantation. Exceptionally kind and ready to help with anything host family. I spent a relaxing week there. The place is perfect for fit people who are willing to climb quite a few flights of stairs. The family will cook meals for you if you wish and you can ask for any specific meal or ingredients. Thank you Chintaka, Tissa, Chamilla and little Tihansa for being a family to me during my stay. I hope to see you all again very soon.

Quiet and Beautiful stop in your journey...

It is a very beautifully situated cottage among tea fields with a view of a beautiful Buddhist monastery ... silence around ... only birds sing ... sometimes deer come to visit ... the owners are very nice and helpful in everything; Meals: if you stay in the house all day, you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner. they are delicious, excellent srilankan food. If you plan to take a break in your wandering around this heavenly island, go ahead and book this place ... it guarantees that you will gain strength for your next journey ... I highly recommend it!

Amazing place

Everything was amazing. You have the cottage to yourself. Nice shower, hot water. Comfy beds. View was unbelievable, could even see it from the bed. Food was delicious and cheap. The host was soooo nice. Provided lots of information, met us from the bus stop, made us fresh juice when we arrived. It is a little out of town which makes it nice and secluded and provides for that amazing view but does mean it's a bit of a trek into town (10-15 mins) but part of that is through the beautiful tea slopes so that's ok. 100% would recommend

Exceptional

A little piece of paradise, breathtaking views of the surrounding tea plantations and mountains, cool breeze, such an amazing place. Close enough to the city center and train station to reach them in a few minutes, but the only sounds we could hear were the birds and the chants from a remote buddhist temple. Surrounded by hundreds of fireflies in the evening! The cleanest accommodation we've ever encountered in Sri Lanka. The owner's father picked us up from the train station, despite being so close, and offered us tea and cookies. We decided on the spot to stay longer than the 2 scheduled night, but it was booked for the next dates; however, our hosts found an alternative solution for us and we enjoyed the extra nights from a room with a beautiful Little Adam's Peak view. 🙏 Couldn't have chosen better and highly recommend this outstanding cottage!
