The apartment had everything for cooking, was well equipped. The host was really helpful in everything.

Great apartment!

The apartment had a great location. The beach (Praia Vale do Centeanes) is about a 6 minute walk and there is a Spar supermarket 3 minutes away. The rooms are very spacious and 2 bathrooms really make it comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen plus a nice living room with a big smart tv. The views of the beach from the terrace were great and it was equipped with a table, chairs, and even a barbecue! The neighborhood were the apartment is located is very quiet and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Carvoeiro is about 30-40 walking minutes away (there you can visit Praia do Carvoeiro and Praia do Paraiso) and there is also another beautiful beach (Praia Vale do Covo), only 15 minutes away from the apartment (it was our favorite one, very quiet and only a few people were there the two times we visited). If you don’t like walking too much, you can download the TaxiCaller app where you can book a trip from the apartment to many locations and it is very helpful. The prices are great (5€ from the apartment to Carvoeiro beach, for example) and the drivers speak great English and are very friendly.

The apartment was a little dirty due to some roadworks that were being done around the neighborhood. That also made sleeping past 8am a little hard due to the works’ noise. Furthermore, even though the terrace was great, it was usually very windy and we could not take full advantage of it. Also, in order to get to the beach (Praia Vale do Centeanes) you have to walk down very long stairs which could be exhausting, especially during the summer (you can also walk a longer path which is flatter but we chose the shorter one).
