About this house rental
This four bedroom home offers warm décor and provides a welcoming feel to your group or extended family gatherings. Niagara Riverview Inn is located on River Road and just a short ten minute walk to the Falls, Casino Niagara, Clifton Hill and many other attractions.
The home comfortably sleeps 9 persons in a total of 4 bedrooms (1 King and 3 Queen Beds plus two sofa beds) and is serviced by two bathrooms. The home is centrally heated and central air-conditioned. Built in 1965, this bright and airy home is typical of the architectural period with a split level design, hardwood floors, large bay window overlooking the Niagara River.
Guests can retreat to the large living room complete with numerous couches, reclining chairs, and writing desks. All the modern comforts of home are here including a large flat screen TVs, cable TV, Blue Ray Player, radio, complimentary Wi-Fi, patio, and more. The large dining area is perfect for board or card games and makes a great space to reflect on the days experiences.

In addition, the home is close to a public park with plenty of open green space, two tennis courts, and children's play area. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events.
Check-in time is between 3 pm and 11 pm.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. First the positives: the location was ideal. It was about a 10 minute walk to the falls area and we felt safe walking in the area after dark. The rooms were large and it was great to have breakfast delivered each day. On the negative side, the entire house was a bit rundown, especially the kitchen and bathrooms.

The home could use some TLC, but it's clean, has comfortable beds, and is pretty well stocked. Best two features are the great breakfast brought fresh by the owner every morning and the location. It's located directly across the street from the Niagara River and is a very nice walk away from the waterfall. There is no laundry in the home.

Property location to the Falls was excellent. Morning breakfast brought to the house by host John was an outstanding addition to the stay. Wonderful week in a great place! Staying on Canadian side makes all the difference.

You simply cannot beat the location! It's literally a 10 minute WALK to great views of the Falls and the lights and fireworks each evening. The home is spacious, has a couple of outdoor dining options, and has that classic retro charm. Communication with John was great, he is a great host. Even managed to catch us before we got too far away because we had left behind our carryon! Would definitely stay here again.

Like most homes in the area, this is an older home, but it is as close to the falls and attractions as you can get. It's 10-15 minute walk to the beginning of the falls. 7 minutes to catch the WEGO bus. You need a pass for that. Check out the Niagara Parks Passes also...it may save you some $ on the attractions.The home has stairs. There's a sign inside the entry asking you to take your shoes off. The other home we stayed at did the same thing. There's a large bedm with private bath when you first enter. The ceiling is low. I'm 5'9" and I could touch the ceiling flat handed. There's an area in front of the bathrm that's 6" lower than that. So, tall people, beware! There was a little water on the floor in the bathroom that I wiped up. That's when I noticed the floor was really dirty. I was thankful I had house slippers with me. I have to be honest, the king size bed had a couple hairs and a few crumbs. So I slept in the bed upstairs. It was pretty cool down there, which actually was really nice. There was a ceramic heater avaliable. Twice the commode would not flush, but the owner was able to get that fixed right away. He was extremely easy to reach and work with. The next level has 2 bedrms & bath. All seemed clean except the floor. Up 2 steps was 1 bedrm, living rm, dining rm and walkthru kitchen. All pretty clean. 2 couches and chair really needs replaced! They're dingy and sag. The outside area is really overgrown and needs a hard trimming. But, I would stay here again.

My 3 friends and I, who are way over 18, have vacationed together for 32 years. We enjoyed having enough space to provide a bedroom for each of us. Having John's breakfasts delivered each morning was a real treat. John also helped us with ideas of what to do and see. The house was comfortable. I would recommend it.

John was wonderful with communication and the breakfast he brought to us each morning was delicious and filling. I loved that he came in each morning and asked what our plans were and was ready to offer suggestions on what else we might enjoy. It was really nice to not have to plan breakfast for ourselves each morning. He also made sure we had juice, half and half, sugar packets, and dishwasher tablets, and we always had enough leftover breakfast things to use as snacks!
The property was clean and exactly as described. The location was really great! Close enough to walk to most of the tourist attractions, and right along the Wego bus line to get where we wanted to go without taking our car if we wanted.
Our family of 4 almost always chooses to stay in a VRBO for prolonged vacations, as we find that having access to a full kitchen and living space allows us to retreat from the hustle and bustle of crowds to recharge.
We would stay here again if we ever make it back this direction!

Our host was very accommodating. He offered information about the area and answered all of our questions. The breakfast every morning was delicious and fueled our explorations each day. The home was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed how close we were to the falls. We only had to use our vehicle for exploring outside the area. It was an easy walk to the falls. Would definitely reserve again for a return trip!!

we had tickets to Greg Frewin show, needed a place to stay for 3 days- 6 adults. Found this address. John (proprietor) was easy to reach and discuss location . Home was what we wanted and needed. Easy walk to the falls and to Frewin theatre. The Breakfast included was wonderful. BBQ, Beds and kitchen provided all we required to make the birthday week GREAT.

The property was exactly like described. Less than 10 min walk to a great view of the falls. We tried some excursions after talking with the host and everyone enjoyed themselves. The home was a great place to come back and regroup, or just talk and chill after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was perfect to start our morning! Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast was absolutely delightful. The home was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Even our dog was relaxed and we know she enjoyed her stay too. John was incredibly welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. It was like a mini-hotel complete with toiletries. The bed and pillows were crisp and clean. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family.

Great location right on Niagara River, and within walking distance of the falls and Clifton Hill. Very spacious house with a nice yard, and the hot breakfast John delivered every morning was fantastic! The interior was a bit dated, but it felt like the house I grew up in and brought back some nice memories. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing trip to Niagara for a small breakaway to see the falls and spend time at Niagara on the lake . John was a fantastic host , breakfasts were amazing and the accommodation was clean and well maintained with everything needed in the kitchen . This review is long overdue. The home was so warm and cozy. There are three bedroom plus one apartment, downstairs. Lots of room to move around with a fully stocked kitchen and a nice backyard, which, weather permitting, would have been lovely to have a meal in. One day, we spent the entire day in the living room, with the fireplace on, watching movies on cable. The light fog and mist really added to the warm ambience. Each morning, John delivered enough food to feed the 3 of us, plus several more: eggs, French toast, cheese, fresh fruit, sausage, yogurt and fruit juice. On the last morning, since we left very early, he delivered, "carry on" snacks to take with us on the plane. He was so thoughtful and considerate and provided a lot of insight into the area. Our trip was truly, magical, in fact, my 83 year old mother said it was, "the best trip, I've ever had." This, coming from a woman who has visited at least half of the countries on this planet...so that is saying something! Thank you John.

We unfortunately did not get to stay. There was a tragic accident at the rainbow bridge which closed the borders but the host was very kind and refunded our money right away. He was always very prompt in responding to my messages. I hope to stay there sometime!

It worked out for a beautiful time in Niagra Falls! The location was perfect! We were able to go back and forth walking everywhere no need for our car! It was clean and we appreciated the breakfast! Some maintenance on some of the little things needed but overall it worked well! Thank you!

We came to the area for our version of a annual color tour and while the trees were mostly done in late october we did find plenty of the two colors we were here for. Reds and whites with a few blushes thrown in.
Each year we do a wine tasting trip and this was our first time to the area. We visited les than an 8th of wineries in the area in the 2 1/2 days we had.
The home is within easy walking distance of the Niagara down town activities and also a great launching point if you are looking to spend some time at the wineries.
The delivered breakfast in the morning was great to allow an early start to the day that avoided the hassel of getting to a resturant.
The host made several great reccomendations for stops and this was greatly appreciated.

Location was as good as it gets for a vacation home in Niagara. John was friendly with good communication and brought us a solid breakfast every morning. Home could use some updates as it is older with some darker spots in grout for example. Overall though it was a great stay and would recommend this vacation home to larger families staying in Niagara. Thanks, John!

Beds where very comfortable and in general the house is the perfect place to rest and unwind after enjoying the Niagara Falls area. We loved the property and it suited our family perfectly. The location was great and just a short walk away from the Falls. Easy check in and check out. The host was very friendly and kind. We were really impressed with the host's attention to the details. The breakfast was hearty and delicious with some little surprises. Overall, a very nice and comfortable stay for the whole family. Shall stay there again.

John was very good to book with, he is very quick to reply with any questions and was very nice to deal with. The breakfast that he brings every morning was great. The house was clean and very large (4 bedrooms and 2 baths with a mini kitchen in the Master Bedroom) and the house is located in a great location, only about a 10 minute walk to be in front of American Falls and 20 minute walk to be next to Horseshoe Falls, but you can start to see the Falls after about 100 yards. It was a great trip.
