Great potential, a little too neglected
Great potential, a little too neglected
The house is spacious, so is the garden. It would have a sea view, if the edge was trimmed...but as it was left to grow, it masked the sea view unfortunately. The ground floor has a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds, while the other bedroom and beds are actually underground (where it is a bit humid, not airy). Overall the house is good and has great potential, but it is missing a few (inexpensive) things that would make it much more comfortable and the stay much more enjoyable. For example: it would have been great to have a couple of sun-beds or deck chairs to relax in the garden (instead only hard chairs and 1 half-broken sunbed), a micro-wave would have been handy and well as a shower curtain for the downstairs bathroom. Also, there is no wi-fi. The awnin (sun-blind) in the terrasse was all broken and gave an overall sense of neglect (although 2 big umbrellas were put in place of it). Otherwise, the location is excellent (quiet and breezy), the agency was very professional and responsive and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice stay, and it was very nice to have dinner outside in the evenings. As I said, it just missed a few additional comforts (especially to enjoy the garden/terrasse).
