About this villa rental
Nestled in Michigan, this charming villa for $715 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Make lasting memories in this secluded hide away! This stunning home has breathtaking views of the Pottowatomie Preserve with extensive landscaping and fencing throughout. It is only minutes from Saugatuck with the feeling of being miles from everywhere. Features a Gourmet kitchen with large WI pantry, center island, Viking stove, Cherry cabinets, Corian counters & soaring wood ceilings. The spacious living area features a floor to ceiling fieldstone wood burning fireplace & lots of natural light. French doors lead to a 32'x13' sun room for extra dining and living space. The master ensuite also features a vaulted wood ceiling and 2 sets of French doors leading to the screened porch, perfect for your morning coffee or tea. Another BR, bath, laundry & a breezeway complete the main level. The walkout lower level boasts a spacious rec. room, another full kitchen, family room, two bedrooms, walk-in closet and full bath. A perfect place to entertain family & friends. The master bedroom will have a king bed and a tv. The second bedroom will also have a king bed and a tv. The loft will have a king bunk bed with a queen trundle. The lower bedroom #4 will have 2 queen Beds. The lower bedroom number 5 will also have 2 queen beds. There is a large sectional in the downstairs living area. Bringing the total capacity to 16. There is a pool table off the kitchen downstairs next the lower living area. There is a fire pit area outside on the back patio. The whole back side of the house has amazing views of Potawatamie marsh whether sitting by the fire or in the 7 person hot tub that is available all year around. This is a VERY private cottage that is only minutes from downtown Saugatuck. The garage may or may not be available for use. By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following rules: (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED) 1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats (if available) used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk. 3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. Arrangements for trailers need to be made. There is parking for 6 cars in the driveway. Parking on the road is prohibited. 4.) Do not move the furniture. 5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $150 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use. 10.) Quiet time is after 11pm nightly. 11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than double the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 14.) The pool table and the shuffleboard table are to be used properly and children who are not old enough to play or do not know how to play are not allowed to use the equipment. Please do not use the pool table to set drinks or ANYTHING. Guest will be responsible for any damage caused by misuse of equipment. 16.) No more than 5 people in the hot tub at a time. Please rinse of all oils and lotions before entering the hot tub as the filter will not be able to keep up. KIDS CAN NOT BE IN THE HOT TUB WITOUT AN ADULT! 17.) There may be wood for the fire pit and fireplace that you are welcome to use but it is not provided. You can get firewood at most all local gas stations and stores. 18.) The garage may or may not be available for use. You will receive a text message from us with checkin instructions and the code for the door.

No complaints! Worked well us, big kitchen and lovely views. We couldn’t find the river walk? We started on the trail but were asked to turn around because there is a hunting club nearby. This house was a bit quirky, had a group of couples and 4 of them shared one bathroom in the basement because the other 2 are attached to bedrooms. All in all a great stay but just thought I’d share.

We spent the weekend cooking, relaxing and catching up with friends. It was the perfect spot for doing that, with a lovely wooded view over the wetlands / river -- but still less than 10 minutes to downtown Saugatuck.

The property is absolutely beautiful & the house is amazing! Everything was very clean & well stocked. It was very cozy & inviting. Our family had a great stay. We were in town for a family wedding & it was the perfect place to stay! Ethan was timely in responding to all of our questions. The only negative I can say is the spotty internet/tv connection but the view made up for it! :)

This is our fourth time renting this property and have always had great experiences. The house is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It is located at the end of the road in the woods, with a beautiful view of wet lands and is very private...but still only a short drive into town. The patio with a fire pit is great and right off the basement common area with kitchenette and pool table. Our group had a very nice and relaxing weekend and we hope to come back.

Our group of seven really enjoyed our stay at Riverwalk. We were overwhelmed by the amazing view off the back of the property, highlighted by the fall colors. The sounds of the forest surround you… birds, frogs, and the scurrying of wildlife, it’s truly an experience!
The house was clean and updated. Nice modern finishes throughout the place. A stocked kitchen, along with plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms.
We would definitely stay here again. Checkin/out process was clear and easy. We didn’t need to reach out to the property manager for anything, but it seemed like it would be easy if we did.
The pictures don’t do this place justice - it’s truly amazing property!

This house was great for our annual girls weekend. The house is clean and nicely updated. Beds were really comfortable and overall the house was really nice. The only thing to be aware of is the bunk bed in the loft is really tall. There are no railings on the bed itself or on the steps that lead to the top bunk - very dangerous and I'd never put kids in there. Otherwise, the house really is great and we enjoyed the hot tub and large basement family room and second kitchen.

Casual Luxury for a Classy Girls Weekend
Wowza, we loved it here! It looks just like the photos. The house was perfectly clean and very beautiful. It is a great place for a large group of people. Most of the spaces are nice and open, allowing lots to gather and socialize, but the bedrooms are also quite private and seperate. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub, which was ready for us upon arrival. At one point, I did accidentally blow a breaker, and the property managers returned my call within minutes.
The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. When you're sharing rooms as adults, it's tough to feel like you have enough room, but this was perfect. The bathrooms were all very clean and very beautiful.
My only regret was that we didn't have nicer weather (early April) because the screened porch and outdoor dining area are gorgeous!
Also, the property is very well stocked. I purchased glassware and other items, expecting that maybe it wouldn't be stocked well enough to accommodate out whole group - totally mistaken! There is MORE than enough of everything for the number of people this house accommodates. The kitchen is a gorgeous meeting area, and it was a great workspace for the chef we hired to cook us dinner.
You won't be disappointed! Many of my guests asked for specific information on this listing so they can book it again, and I would book it again as well!

Had our annual girls weekend! Plenty of room for our group of 13! Very cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked for linens! The pictures don’t do this place justice!

Great house
This in our third time renting this fantastic house. Bedrooms and house are great. The only minor inconvenience was there were no coffee filters or any basics for cooking such as salt/pepper or olive oil or spray. Normally, VRBO houses have a few minimal items such as those for cooking. And we lost power on our last night, but that was due to a wind storm.
