About this house rental

We want to invite you into our Beach House Toes in the Sand at 22430 Kennedy, Galveston, 77554.
You will just love our Galveston Beachfront property that is located in the Sea Isle community. If you visit Galveston feel free to ask us for the address so you can drive by to take a look. Toes in the Sand has 3 large bedrooms, and loft with a trundle bed. Enough room for you and several of your friends and relatives. Our home will sleep up to 8 in beds. Hurricane windows give you an awesome view of the beach from almost every room. All the beds are made with fresh linens prior to your arrival. We look forward to your business. We also have a propane grill under the house but beware if the wind is blowing hard you will need to cook inside. Just one of those things from a front row house. Note we do have a ring doorbell with camera and audio next to the entrance door for outside security that is on 24 hours a day.

DURING THE SUMMER WE ONLY RENT 6 OR 7 DAYS STAY.

Our add says that it is less than a 15 minute walk to the beach which is automatically added by VRBO. In fact we are a zero minutes walk as the house is directly on the beach!

We loved this house! Dont be fooled by the picture's they dont do it justice its sooo much nicer in person full of light and great patio to just sit and relax and watch the waves... the beds are comfortable. We didnt have to buy anything from the store they had basically everything we needed the owners were very nice and let us know about a drone show they were doing at the strand which I thought was very nice of them to let us know. The only thing I would say is they need to do a little deep cleaning to get the baseboards and light switches and doors cause they are a bit dirty but that could just be me having extremely high standards other than that I definitely recommend anyone to stay here we will definitely be coming back!

We stay 2 night pre cruise, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The house was exactly as described, and was steps to the beach. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

The back porch overlooked the beach. We were able to swim a couple days then it turned cold. We still enjoyed the house just to be able to see the water and hear the waves. A little piece of heaven.

Stayed from 12/26/23 to 1/1/24. Truly beachfront! Amazing views and the home was very clean. Beds were comfortable and linens were soft. Plenty of towels to use and a nice washer and dryer. All appliances worked great and kitchen has everything you need. I read other reviews that said the house could use some updating and yes there is some wear, but it is BEACHFRONT and the home was clean and comfortable. The owners were very quick to reply to questions and check in was simple! Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again for sure!

This house sits RIGHT on the beach, everything worked as expected, LOTS of hot water (we loved that after a cold swim!) Super easy to get to beach, literally steps away. The house is an older house and needs an update here and there but would DEFINITELY stay again. Great owners that were easy to work with.

Like an extension of my home. All essentials needed were provided and much more than expected. Love the sunrise in porch & bonus of a beachfront. Can swim anytime we want or just enjoy the beauty of ocean. This is the 1st beach experience of my 15 yr old dog. Hosts were easy to reach when needed and communication was a breeze. We'll surely comeback to this house next time. We did enjoy our vacation!!

The name of this house says it all. It is just steps from the beach. It had everything we could need. It was comfortable and quiet. Loved the deck for watching the sunrise. It was the perfect beach getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for beach front and when we stayed in this house it felt like we were on the beach. No shoes needed to walk from the house to the water, sand all the way. Love the location. Kitchen has everything you need and the bed was comfortable. Living room and dining room furniture are adequate but worn. Beautiful morning sunrises. Owner is easy to get in contact with and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great location. On arrival was basically clean (counters, tables, floors, beds). But ceiling fan, vents, baseboards, walls, cabinet doors were all pretty dirty. No blankets for beds and it was cold! Living room couch was terrible, only two people could sit on it because the rest of it had no support - just sunk in when you sat - needs replacing. Just a dirty dingy impression. Bunk beds in third bedroom are just beds placed on top of each other. Not safe. Mixed messages...at the end of stay put towels in the bathtub, but a sign in the kitchen said to wash all towels. Also got two different checkout times...didn't really matter because we couldn't wait to get out. Would not stay again. Maybe they should charge a cleaning fee so the place could be cleaned properly.

What a perfect setting! Beachfront is king. We looked at several properties prior to booking this one. Why go to the beach and not BE ON the beach?! Great layout for our group. Having 2 king beds was key. Loved the bunk room in between. Stayed on porch and enjoyed the sunrise and gulf breeze. We’re never not staying oceanfront again. Thanks for letting us share your home. We’ll be back.

Toes in the Sand is a sweet spot! For my friend, who has mobility issues, there was only one set of stairs (15 steps) to get into the house and then everything was accessible on one floor. Also, the public beach was right there and we were able to drive her right up to the water's edge. We would stay here again!

My wife, daughter, 3 grandkids and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Isle home. It is ideally located just a few yards from the ocean. We could sit on the porch and watch the kids on the beach. The kids also enjoyed playing in the shade under the house. The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Good strong fast internet. Cable TV. Groceries & restaurants nearby. We'll be back again.

Its not a fancy place but very nice and clean, but who needs fancy??? Your on the beach and very affordable and right on the beach House stocked with more dishes and cooking utensils than you will use. BBQ grill but we didn't use. Under house lighting and area to have a family gathering. This house has everything you need just bring your food and swim wear and towel and enjoy the beach. There was a power outage in the area and he contacted me with all the details. This property manager very easy to work with I recommend this place .

We had a great time staying at the property. Enjoyed long walks on the beach. The kitchen had all of gadgets we needed to cook and enjoy our weekend at the beach and fresh fish we picked up in town. The house itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. If I was to mention anything to improve it is time to dust the ceiling fan, vents and walls. I would stay here again.

We came for a short family getaway. All 3 of us were needing some time to unplug and relax, and we got it here. The house is showing its age a bit, but beach homes take a beating, and nothing about the listing was inaccurate. Walt was very responsive to our questions. And the location could not be more perfect! It was so nice to open the blinds and see the surf. We didn't even bother with shoes - the beach is literally right outside the door. It was perfect for our needs, and we would definitely consider coming back!

The family all enjoyed their time together and the property provided for all our needs. Wonderful beach sunrises and beach views. The house was secure through gale force winds and 37 degree overnight temp. My sister and brother-in-law ended up sleeping very close in the dip of the mattress in the second bedroom. The owner is very accommodating to our special requests. We have stayed several times and always regret leaving.

Very comfortable. Fully equipped. We loved this lived in property. If you want luxury, keep looking but you’ll pay over double. If you want a comfortable, roomy, well equipped home right on the beach for a great rate, this is your place. We will definitely stay again. Gulf views from the living/dining area, the loft, and two of the three bedrooms. Thanks to the owner, Walt, for an excellent property and his excellent communication.
