The property is in a prime location as it’s situated equally to The Remarkables and Coronet Peaks. The property fits 8 people well enough. However the stairs are a bit too steep to where the “kids” area is. The house has a considerable amount of mould especially around the windows and the bathroom. Lastly the hot water system isn’t adequate for a group of 7 who cook and clean up every day.

Difficult to find the front door and parking space as the parking space was not labeled and the house address, number was not obvious or easily seen. Instructions for placing the garbage in the email I received we're different from the instructions in the house so that was a bit confusing. Please consider replacing or washing the window curtain in the bedroom closest to the street as it was a bit moldy. That being said, the house met our needs, the view was fantastic and we enjoyed our time in Queenstown immensely. There is another home underneath 22b. If there was anyone there they were very quiet, we didn't hear anything.

The view of the lake and mountains is superb. The house suited our group of 8 with plenty of room for everyone. The cooking utensils and crockery had not been left in a great state by the people prior to us, so we did have to scrub everything prior to using it. Other than that, the house was clean and tidy. I’d definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Yes, it is old and a bit rough around the edges - that is obvious from the photos. If you are looking for a pristine 5 star resort this is not the place for you. BUT if you are looking for a cosy place with INCREDIBLE views, a full kitchen, multiple bathrooms, a great fireplace and plenty of room to spread out, this house is great and also really good value. We had a group of five friends staying here and didn't feel cramped at all. We loved looking out at the stunning views every day. The beds were all very comfortable with quality linen. The kitchen was well appointed and everything worked fine. Showers were good with plenty of hot water. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet with the exception of one night where there was loud music playing, but that seemed to be the exception and certainly isn't the fault of the property! Loved waking up in our very own hillside treehouse every day and would recommend this place to families or groups of friends. Just note that the parking space is pretty small - our RAV4 fit in there but I don't think you'd fit anything too much bigger than that. I think you could probably park on the street nearby as a back up option but not sure how many spaces there usually are - just something to bear in mind.

Absolutely perfect setup. Myself and my two daughters were in Queenstown for a week of skiing and Queenstowning. Its five mibutes from twon which is easy drive for lunch or dinner. Or a morning drive to the ski bus. The place is homely and comfortable and warm. The master has stunning views to wake up to. The lounge/dining/kitchen area is perfect for hanging out as a family. And the bedrooms comfortable, spacious and provide a personal place when needed. Would definitely recommend and use again
