About this house rental
This is an exceptional 4 - bedroom, 5 and 1/2 bath, 3000 square foot lakefront home with fantastic views of Lake George, within the the town of Bolton Landing. The house is located on the shore of the Northwest Bay of Lake George, overlooking Tongue Mountain. This a beautiful section of Lake George, with gorgeous views that are unspoiled by commercial development.
The home features a large, gourmet kitchen located on the second floor, with granite countertops and island, dark cherry cabinets, and high-end appliances (dish washer, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, two sinks). There are 6 bar stools along the center island and nearby counter area for casual dining. The dining area includes a large wooden table with seating for eight. Also on the second floor is a living room with a stone fireplace. A sliding door opens out onto a balcony overlooking the Lagoon Manor boat marina and the Northwest Bay. Next to the living room is a family room with a wet-bar, post and beam ceiling, two leather reclining chairs and couch, and a home theater with a 65 inch HD TV, Blu- ray DVD player, surround sound, and premium cable TV package. On the first floor is a large family room with another 65 inch HD TV, a second wet-bar and stone fireplace, full bathroom, and separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. There is a two-car garage also on the first floor.
The lakehouse has four bedrooms- a master bedroom suite on the second floor with a queen-sized bed, elegant bedroom furniture, and a spacious full bathroom with shower/jacuzzi tub and double vanity in marble. This bedroom has its own sliding glass door, which opens onto a private balcony overlooking the lake. This bedroom has a ceiling fan, and a sound system with ceiling speakers and a touch-display wall panel for selecting music.
On the third floor is another master bedroom suite, with a California king-sized bed, lavish bedroom set and desk, and a 55 inch HD flat -screen TV. This bedroom offers spectacular lake views. There is a large master bathroom with a full-sized jacuzzi tub which has lake views, and a remote-controlled window shade. There are ceiling speakers in the bedroom and bathroom, with a touch-display wall panel for selecting music.
On the third floor is another bedrooom with a queen bed, and full bathroom. A fouth bedroom, located on the third floor, has two queen-sized beds, and a full bathroom.
The house has many other beautiful features, including an elevator, central air conditioning, Brazilian cherry floors throughout the second and third floors, and a travertine marble kitchen floor . The home is equipped with Wi-Fi for internet access. There is a delux stainless steel gas grill outside for barbecuing. The house rental includes a dock directly outside the house for up to a 23 foot boat. The house is also equipped with a backup, 15-kilowatt fully-automatic generator (just in case!)

This is an amazing property at a perfect spot on the lake for our pontoon boat rental which we use most of the week. The house is stunning, well stocked and the perfect size for our growing family. Our 4 grandkids had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The owners are wonderful, and we are looking forward to returning again next year.

House exceeded expectations. It was perfect for our group especially with small children and making most meals. View was great in the main living area and on the balcony. Having a place to dock the rental boat was a perfect. Having an elevator to move around groceries and luggage was a welcome bonus! Hosts were great. Enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for 2024!

Amazing home with every possible amenity directly on the lake tucked within a cozy community. Beautiful view of the lake from the upper deck and easy access to the dock for boating. Minutes to town for leisurely activities or grabbing groceries. We had a blast!

A few friends and I needed a place to stay for the week for our annual fishing trip. This home is perfect for a small group and has all the accommodations you could ask for. The kitchen was amazing and can handle entertaining a lot of guests. The entertainment systems are especially nice during down time. Bathrooms in each bedroom were a major plus as well. The owners are super responsive and helpful. You will be hard pressed to find a better place to stay than here! Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with us!

New Years at the lake
Amazing, well equipped home right on Lake George. Spent New Years weekend with my kids just relaxing and pampering ourselves in this stunning home. We cooked in the gourmet kitchen every night, soaked in the jacuzzi tub and enjoyed tue stunning views of the lake. Rich and Holly were so kind and made us feel so comfortable in the home like it was our home. They were very accommodating and helpful with all questions. My family and I had an excellent experience at Holly and Cliff's lakefront property. We stayed during the Thanksgiving Holiday. As everyone has stated in the reviews the pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked that my children and I made a full thanksgiving meal. The house is very well maintained. My family and I will be returning after the winter. The views are breathtaking. Very relaxing time. I can see in the summer this place being an excellent place for the family to do enjoy the views and water activities.

Be very weary of the expectations for check out.
The space itself is wonderful with all of the amenities and access you would need for a great stay on the lake. The expectations for you as the guest however are clearly meant to set you up for failure. 2 guests in our group work in high end luxury rentals and both gave their stamp of approval on the condition of the home as we left it. Unfortunately, the expectations of the hosts are designed to immediately withhold your security deposit if they so choose. we left the dishes clean in the dishwasher, all trash removed from the house and removed all linens except for one bed that was unused. even with that, the hosts immediately attacked my character personally via private texts and treated us as if we were complete and utter inconsiderate slobs, which just wasnt the case. we left some drinks in the wet bars believing that was warranted as their were drinks there when we arrived. I have never and will never leave a property not feeling confident we left it in a respectable manner. if you choose to rent this property, be prepared to act as the cleaning crew and have every single detailed picked through with a fine tooth comb.
I sincerely wish things were handle differently and firmly believe no host should ever directly and immediately insult a guest personally via text (even going so far as to use their day job as a means to claim they are "classier" than we are) regardless of any "issues" but I wish them nothing but the best.

Beautiful Location
The house was unbelievable! The pictures on-line do not do it justice. Location is beautiful- we rented a Pontoon Boat for the week and utilized the boat slip- Holly and Cliff were easy to get a hold of and gave us lots of tips. Everything you need was in this house- as one person in a previous review said, all you need is your clothes and a toothbrush! A truly wonderful experience:)

Great Family Vacation
We had 4 adults and 5 kids at the lake house in June of 2021 and the property was great. We rented a boat and used it multiple times a day. The home was super clean, easy to check in and out and overall I would highly recommended the house.

Perfect long weekend getaway
Just amazing! Absolutely beautiful home and location. Plenty of space for 10 adults - we were 2 families with 6 of our grown children - spent many hours around the huge dining table playing games. And when we weren't doing that we were in one of the other rooms gazing out the window at the spectacular views. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Holly & Rich were great hosts!! We hope to go back again:)

Nice house
This summer we rented 3 houses in different locations, I would rank this house 3rd because of 2 reasons, you need to rent a boat to enjoy the water and the house is located next to a set of docks that are very busy with people coming and going.

Luxury on The Lake
This is our second stay at 9 Rose Lane in Bolton Landing...we came back for a reason. The luxury and amenities provided by Holly and Rich and their attention to details, combined with the proximity of the house on beautiful Lake George make this one of our favorite family vacation destinations.

Holly and Rich were the best hosts ever. Holly met us at the house and truly stressed that their home was 'our home'. The views are incredible and the kitchen is a cook's dream! We had the best time ever and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to vacation in the area.

Finally... a property that looks as good (even BETTER) in person as it does online!
This property is fabulous. The photos you will see don't begin to do it justice. If you're looking for a comfortable and over the top wonderful place to hang your hat near Bolton-- you've found it. It has it all- and the only drawback (if you can call it that) was that it had everything..and there was no need to leave the house! Cooking in this top of the line kitchen was a treat, I hated to go to a restaurant!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations!
The owners could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. They have gone to great extent to ensure visitors enjoy their stay outfitting their home with high-end furnishings and amenities. A full bathroom for each of the four bedrooms ensured privacy for all and a huge kitchen with commercial quality appliances made it a pleasure to cook our meals. The access to a dock directly in front of the house allowed us to take full advantage of our boat. Highly recommended. Thanks Holly and Rich!

S'more than you could ask for...
Our Lake George family vacation was even more perfect than expected because of the beautiful lakefront home we rented from Rich and Holly. The home offers every amenity one could desire from 5 1/2 bathrooms, 2 with jetted tubs, to a kitchen you will miss when you leave! Every bed in each of the 4 bedrooms was perfectly comfortable. The home offers a terrific home theater system in a lovely family room. The view of the lake is spectacular. It's a very short walk to the private beach area where you can relax on lounge chairs. There is a fire pit set up nearby where we waited until dark to have a campfire, toast marshmallows for s'mores, and told ghost stories. There's so much to do in the area you just can't do it all in one trip. We will definitely be renting again from Rich and Holly as they made us feel so welcomed!

Spectacular Rental!!
This House was wonderful! We rented this house with 2 other families we had the best vacation. our children ranged from age 4 to 16,,, and everyone of them had something to do. The pictures do not do justice this house is absolutely amazing, its gorgeous inside and out. Very peaceful to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from one of the 2 balconies. All the bedrooms had the most comfortable beds, and there own bathroom. Getting ready was a snap for us all. No waiting for a bathroom to be empty!!
The owners of this home Rich and Holly were great, very welcoming and kind! We will rent again next year!
