Agradável estadia em bonita e bem cuidada herdade

Herdade muito tranquila, permitindo agradáveis passeios a pé. Espaço acolhedor e bem decorado. Quarto com cama bastante confortável e ampla. Pequeno-almoço buffet com grande variedade. Pessoal atencioso e prestável.

Acordar e viver ao ritmo do Alentejo num espaço que apetece estar.

A Herdade do Barrocal de Baixo é um daqueles espaços que deixa saudade assim que entramos no carro para regressar à correria do dia-a-dia. Bem equipada e cuidada, com uma equipa muito simpática e prestável para ajudar sempre que necessário, este é sem dúvida um espaço que queremos voltar já hoje. Que assim se mantenha por muito tempo.

Não há nada a apontar salvo uma pequena falha de comunicação ao jantar que alterou um pouco aquilo que estávamos à espera, mas ficou tudo resolvido no momento e espero que também tenha servido para melhorar em situações futuras.

The herdade was amazingly beautiful! We spent a wonderful and relaxing days here.

I wish there were more food options, I'm vegetarian so eating at the herdade was not a possibility. Even for non vegetarian/vegan eaters there's only 1 option per meal.

The most amazong place for peace

The property was very peaceful and calm which allowed for total relaxation

It isn’t a dislike exactly but a warning regarding the 5km in dirt road to get there would have been great

Excellent place to relax. Fantastic pool

The only thing that was a bit challenging was the road to the road to the facility which was not in a very good condition. This is probably not in the hands of the property management as it is not their road. But this was the only item due to which we rated 9 instead of 10. Otherwise no complaints at all.

bikes in poor condition and no where to ride them, all routes we found were private with guard dog signs or electric fences. kayaking not advised as lake low and smelly no mobile coverage and wifi intermittent making it hard to book things, find routes ideas for improvement: member of staff to come to your apartment on arrival and explain everything as no info anywhere, had no idea about breakfast, restaurant, attractions, timings etc maintain bikes and provide a map for walks/ cycling provide chopping board for kitchen prove washing line for drying clothes

Great city breat to shut off from the stress

Isolated and quiet, great for a rest and re-energize. No mobile signal so you can really shut off if you want or use wifi for anything you need. The food options at the premises were fully booked but they give a website similar to uber eats where you can order if you don't want to go out for food. Not a lot of options

Great time in a beautiful remote villa. Absolutely loved it!

The villa was absolutely amazing, very cozy and perfect to be with friends or family. The staff was particularly excellent, extremely nice and always available. The breakfast was brought to the villa in the morning and could be tailored at will. We used the tennis court, the bikes and the kayaks without any sort of problems whatsoever. In the villa there was good cell service and wifi. We had a great time and we hope to come back someday! It exceeded our expectations and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a nice quiet time with friends or family.

Relaxing and close to nature

Swimming pool area very nice, the outdoor spaces really beautiful , the very wonderful nature and the quietness around

The room was small for 3 people; bathroom shower too small, price was high for room size

Superb

Excellent place to relax, there's nature everywhere in this place. Very friendly and kind staff and the facilities are very good. We had the chance to go for a walk, a bike ride and to make use of the tenis court. Unfortunately the weather were not good to enjoy the pool.

Good but not worth the price

The property is lovely but a bit isolated. 5 Km of dirt road to arrive in poor condition. Very small room, poor breakfast. Great swimming pool for summer

It’s not the case that it’s not OK. It’s just to expensive for the offer.

Great place to stay

Lots of activities to do, free of extra charge, like biking, kayaking, jeep ride, etc. The food you can order is good and not expensive. Lots of space for enjoying the outdoors and two great swimming pools. The staff is all very nice and very helpful.

Not a big deal but the location has no mobile coverage and no TV signal. They do provide Netflix but sometimes freezes due to network constraints. The access is done by a 5km dirt road.

An amazing weekend getaway

The property is located amongst the beautiful nature of alentejo. Me and my friends stayed in the private villa with the private swimming pool. It was such a perfect weekend getaway. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Definitely coming back!
