Appletrees ticked all the boxes for our short stay

Clean, friendly, nicely decorated, very comfortable beds, excellent bathroom, very nice toiletries, dressing gowns provided, delicious breakfast served on the terrace overlooking a lovely garden and fields.

Sound penetration from the room next door. The room was a little snug

Super Host, Homely Stay

Tessa was a fantastic host, her and Saffy the Champagne Cockerpoo made us feel so at home. It was a beautiful location, nr to Goodwood as we were there for the race meeting. Tessa went the extra mile in every way, helped me organize a hairdresser to come to the house. The breakfast on the terrace was gorgeous, with lots of homemade produce. My husband and I will certainly go back.

Perfect for my needs.

Really comfortable and Tessa was so helpful. The fact she has an adorable dog was a huge plus! For me internet is paramount and that was first class. Really enjoyed my short stay there.

Great dog friendly Band B in the South Downs with a fabulous host !

Excellent location for the South Downs, in a really comfortable bed and wonderful views across the countryside. Breakfast in the garden was a delight and it was dog friendly B and B Tessa was a perfect host who made us feel very welcome and had lots of local knowledge. We wa ou ls Kaveri loved to stay for longer, so look forward to returning at some point.

Lovely Host, Tessa, made us welcome and relaxed from the start. Lovely breakfast with a few nice options, and a lovely view over open countryside, we ate on the patio which was nice but the dining area inside still had the view.

Beautiful views, welcoming stay and exceptional breakfast

The location of the accommodation is truly excellent, providing a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility, with easy access to Goodwood just a short distance away. The double room itself is delightful, boasting a charming view over vast fields, with the added bonus of an ensuite bathroom for ultimate comfort and convenience. One of the highlights of this wonderful experience was undoubtedly the exceptional breakfast spread, which was expertly prepared and presented with great care. The opportunity to enjoy this meal amidst the serene setting of Tessa's beautiful garden was truly a memorable experience, making for an unforgettable start to the day. We felt like we were staying with close friends! Thanks Tessa & Saffy

Absolutely fabulous B&B. Everything was perfect: the beautifully appointed room and en suite, the venue, the setting in a lovely garden, the amazing breakfast and of course our host, Tessa. What a find, and we will be back to Appletrees as we just loved it all. Thank you Tessa for making our stay so perfect.

Very comfortable- I felt very much at home.

The breakfast was delicious especially sitting out on the terrace on a beautiful morning with a view of beautiful Sussex countryside. Tessa was very helpful and hospitable

Brilliant experience top class venue.

The location was brilliant. Also, a few hundred yards from family wedding location. Lovely country setting, Property was first class. Host was the best. Really made us welcome, great host. Food and facilities top class. We would highly recommend this venue. We may plan a mini break here.

Very pleasant stay!

A lovely b&b! Our host Tessa was so easy to get on with...We felt totally at ease there...Was a treat to hve breakfast brought up to our room every morning (& the brekki was yummy)! Lovely comfortable bed...nice quiet surrounding area...Can highly recommend Appletrees B&B!

A beautiful home with the perfect host. A warm welcome, comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Everything was perfect, Tessa was the best host. A wonderful welcome and beautiful breakfast with the delicious homemade marmalade. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a very clean en suite shower room. It was everything we need and more. Will be back.

Enjoyed very much, wonderful.

Tessa is a very friendly, welcoming hostess. The room and breakfast were both perfect. Super location out in gorgeous countryside. Nearby Midhurst is a pretty little town with plenty of amenities.

It was only the British weather which damped things slightly.
