Very good

They offer really nice breakfasts and the view is amazing

I didn't like that the staff ignored our request to unblock the pipes of the shower. The narrow beds are not comfortable.

Overrated and dirty

Beautiful view certainly. Staff tried to help when asked.

Room was unacceptably dirty - found giant hair balls on the floor, spider nests behind radiators and in corners, empty beer bottles in the cabinet, light fixtures full of dead bugs and the shower did not drain but instead leaked up so you ended up standing in nasty stuff from the drain. Bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept the entire week entirely synthetic materials. The lake view is a window about 2ft square so don’t expect much there. Staff were untrained completely, breakfast starting late every day (9am) and while the kids working there would eat their breakfast behind the bar you had to ask them to replace things on the buffet. Food was ok but repetitive for breakfast and some of it seemed like they were pushing the number of days they could serve it. The pasztet was suspect in particular as it was there every day and every day less and less formed. When we left it was runny. Breakfast starts at 9 which is quite late if you want to go hiking or a day trip somewhere and the they close at 8pm with is early if you want to enjoy the view. When restaurant was busy they looked lost and chaotic. No towel changes unless you asked, same with trash. No cleaning the room over the 8 day stay. No fridge, only a shared cool and kettle on the common area. Not at all appropriate hotel for kids. I won’t blame the hotel for the spider bites I have on my leg as this can happen anywhere but the cleanliness of the room had to have some impact. We eventually had to leave a day early because I wasn’t able to sleep, we weren’t able to store infant food, and my foot had become so infected from the bites I needed to see a doctor. Generally one of the worst vacation hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
