A very nice condo at a great location. A little confusing when checking in but we soon figured out the process. The condo was very clean and offered all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the warmth of the fireplace.

This was such a nice space: Oceanfront, great layout, and we each had our own bathroom. The bed is super comfortable (the sleeper sofa, not as much) and the complex was very quiet for being in a densely populated area. I was grateful they let us stay for just one night. It snowed while we were there! Turning off all the lights and watching the flakes fall on the water was such a unique experience.
Our only complaint was that a washer/dryer was advertised, but the door to what we assumed was the laundry was locked.

Overall this rental was a great choice. I do wish they had had a days supply of tea/coffee/creamer/sugar because we got in late. I would stay here again.

The property was as advertised, great location, very clean, tv worked great. The view was fantastic. I would stay there again. If you rent this property make sure they tell you where the lock box is located. That was not communicated to us and we spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. Also, don't expect there to be a bbq. I know many places don't have them on balconies, but it would be nice to have access to one.

If you’re looking to have excellent beach access and to be close to all that Nye Beach has to offer, this is the place. Excellent location and great views from balcony.

Other than the view our stay here was a great disappointment. From televisions that didn't work, to a bathtub that required manual assistance to drain, to a pullout couch that didn't pull out we were frustrated by this stay. Guests should not be required clean (other than that which would be polite), available sleeping space should be available. The list goes on. This property will be a hard no when we return to the coast.

We found the unit much as described, very clean with attractive furnishing and a lovely view of the beach/ocean below. The arrival instructions were a little unclear as were some of the other arrival instructions. We expected an in unit washer/dryer but there was none. A fitted sheet on the king size bed would have been more convenient. The kitchen lacked some “basics” such as wine glasses, a good sized salad bowl, a plastic (dw safe) cutting board, a scissor, a colander, etc. At the same time it contained a jumble of assorted mostly unmatched dishes, 6 or7 skillets, and much miscellany. As a guest I like to put everything back where I found it but with so much “stuff” this was a challenge. I certainly left everything in better order than we found it. It took far too much time sorting through drawers and cabinets to find what we needed. The appliances were newish and in great working order with the kitchen open to the LR and view. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to return. Hopefully the owner and/or the rental company will coordinate the arrival instructions and unit procedures and put some semblance of order and minimalism into the kitchen.

Condo was very clean, organized and close to all of the Nye beach attractions. Nye Beach Tap House had great food and it's right across the street! Would definitely stay here again.

The view is great, but we were unable to fall asleep until the music from the nearby bar stopped at 2am! On top of the noisy neighbors, cable and internet services stopped at @ 7:30 so we were really frustrated. It wasn’t until the next day we discovered it effected many ( So my extensive attempts to problem solve were a way of time). Both bathroom sinks need to be snaked to improve drainage. Electronics in bedroom were unplugged.

I really enjoyed my experience. Great location, clean property, and great management.
However, I will be looking at other management companies because of VRBO’s “hidden” costs. The property advertised much less than was charged. A $251 charge with no explanation? Along with all of the other charges tagged on. Taxes charged in a state that doesn’t have sales tax? Ridiculous. I hope Oregon laws change forcing VRBO to be more transparent, as they are in other states.

We enjoyed the area the property was located. Quick trip for us but had a good time. One thing to improve- the mattress on the bed in the bedroom could use a new one. One thing owner needs to look into is the freezer didn’t open completely. Good size for 4 and clean.

Fell short
Quality of condo didn’t live up to rental price. We weren’t able to access the internet (thus no tv either) for 2 of the 3 days of our stay. Contact with management didn’t resolve the problem. Closets and dresser drawers were full of linens, blankets, boxes etc. so we had to pile our belongings in chairs and on the floor. Same with kitchen cabinets. Wooden toilet seat was gross. Quality of bedding was cheesy-pilled sheets were torn. Overall felt like we were staying in an inexpensive motel.

Great location for walking to the beach. Right around the corner. And walking distance to restaurants/shops at Nye beach.
Con:
States amenities washer/dryer they are not located in the unit. Which needs to be explained on the listing. They take quarters and there is no machine to exchange dollars for so make sure you bring quarters.
Only 4 bath towels for a family of four for four nights
Only one very small kitchen towel. No wash clothes.
The bath tub does not hold water very well the knob to stop the water is very lose.
Over all a wonderful location and view just a few things that should be addressed.

Not what we expected
Positives: Comfortable Bed, Nice View, easy , short walk to Nye Beach shops (1 block!)
Negatives: We had really noisy people above us with kids running around for hours who would not be quiet. Ruined our peaceful evening. Wall heaters were SO loud and came on/off all night keeping us from sleeping. Plus they really dried out the air so our throats were super dry. Living Room furniture was nice enough quality but not really comfy for totally lounging/relaxing.
Couldn’t bear the thought of spending the whole day there and NOT sleeping there another night. Ended up packing up and leaving at 6 in the morning.

Easy check-in/out. Beach is right there! Restaurants and shops within walking distance, other amenities within minutes by car. Nice size for 2-4. Was the perfect end of summer getaway for my two teen sons and myself.

Great space & location on oceanfront!
Arrived & no hairdryer, only one chair on balcony & sofa bed broken (received no communications of alternative sleeping arrangements). With great response from property manager received hairdryer, and had to use a small blowup bed sleeping on living room floor.
Coffee pot provided, but bring your own ground coffee.

Didn’t work out for us
The home didn’t work out for us. The first night be got there it was freezing and heat didn’t work. Meridith Lodging sent someone to repair but even after that the place didn’t warm up so we left.

Wonderful stay. The only complaint we have is when staying on the 1st floor you can hear ALL bathroom water flow. It sounds like a torrential down pour is about to hit. Other than that, we would stay again, just on a different floor.

Stayed here for the first time. The condo was beautiful, very spacious with a wonderful view and easy access to the beach and Nye beach buisness and resturants. Had great meals at the local resturants, the chowder at the Chowder Bowl was awesome, brought some home. The bed was really great, slept like a baby. The only problem was the toilets would run every so often and it would be nice to have a few wine glasses. Other than that, I can't wait to go back.
