You can’t get any closer to the ocean than at SeaGlass Cottage, which seems to float above a dynamic section of Bella Beach--you’ll be in awe at the presence of the Pacific below you. This large home’s classic white board-and-batten walls and ceilings, casual, clean décor, large windows, beautifully proportioned rooms and the ever-present ocean make it the ideal retreat. The feel is as cool, shimmery and beautifully informal as a piece of sea glass.
You enter SeaGlass Cottage through a charming wooden arch and boardwalk, a hint at the timeless, relaxed feeling of this home. The entry way will confirm that you’ve arrived in a classic beach cottage with a difference: lots of sunlight, the sound of waves and a view through to the ocean but with all the modern amenities.
A sun-filled great room faces the ocean and includes a casual seating area with flat-screen TV and a large dining table. It adjoins an enormous granite-topped galley kitchen equipped with a professional gas range, indoor grill, cooking equipment and not one, but two granite breakfast bars.
A main- level bedroom has a flat-screen TV and an adjoining bath. Two of the upstairs bedrooms feature beds from which you can enjoy tremendous ocean views; each also has a flat-screen TV. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a large sitting area overlooking the ocean and an adjoining deck with large hot tub. Upstairs, an adorable bunk room will delight younger guests, and so will a secret closet playroom complete with table, chairs, games and books. The house is beautiful but might need some updates. Great view, nice bedrooms. Enough plates, glasses, etc. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor and apparently the property management company knew about this. No hot tub key-had to call to get one delivered. Only 1 small, sample size dishwashing liquid for a house that holds 14. Some bathroom sinks draining very slowly. Wrong coffee filters provided, no hand soap in 2 of the bathrooms. Towels in the dryer.

We went with some friends to have a weekend away for my birthday, and the house was perfect. The weather was terrible, but we got to sit and watch the crashing waves through the amazing picture windows right over the beach!

Very nice home , Great views, Nice hot tub, lots of amenities. I couldn't find the electric hand mixer only the beaters . So we ended up using the blender to make a Birthday cake . The Oven is high tech and we couldn't quite get it to heat right so we used the BBQ it's awesome! And the stove top. This was a fun stay we enjoyed the Pool table ,The fire place at night and so many cozy soft blankets . The beds were exceptionally cozy as well. I would stay here again.

Weekend getaway
We had a blast at the house! It was perfect for our friends and all the kids. We had 1.5-10 and everyone could be entertained even if it was a rainy weekend. Everything was also well communicated. Thanks for the memories!

Location and view both get high marks. The house is in need of attention. Deferred maintenance.
You could smell a strong pet odor upon entering the house. The main level bedroom had a strong pet urine odor. The garage door opener did not work. The front door lock did not work upon checkout. The photos were great, the house was not. The location was perfect, as was the view. We would NOT rent the house again.

Beach Family Fun House
What a wonderful property!!! I spent weeks researching properties for our family beach vacation and THIS home was selected based on reviews!!! So happy with my decision. Easy check in. Attentive property manager. And great parking. There was something for everyone. Well stocked kitchen except no hand soap in kitchen or bathrooms?! We we’re happy to purchase and leave for the next guy. Beds were comfortable and furniture was great!! BBQ was awesome too!! Kids loved the hot tub!! And adults loved the pool table at night ❤️ Sadly first two days were gloomy but final day sunset didn’t disappoint. 🌞 the location was the very best part. I will miss the sound of waves at night……until next time……one large happy family from Nevada 🌅🏖🐳🦀

Beautiful and homey
What a delightful and comfy home RIGHT on the water! It was so nice to wake up every morning and see endless blue ocean right out the three huge master bedroom windows! For our group the house was roomy enough for everyone to have their own privacy when needed. The kitchen was great-but could definitely use some more pepper and pantry basics like flour, sugar, etc.
The parking was also a bonus because we had two large pickups that would NOT be able to park in a garage or tiny parking spots.
I loved being able to text questions and appreciated responses from the guest services. You guys are ON TOP of it!!
I would also like to note that every single window and door opens and closes properly! (We’ve stayed at countless rentals and normally they are not so great!) I believe there are two curtains/blinds that could use repair and the only cleaning spray we could find was one small bottle of vinegar spray. Oh yes! The washing machines were mold and mildew free, another quirk I always notice! As we were checking out I found a bathtub mat to prevent slipping in the upstairs bathroom to the right of the tub in a laundry hamper :) someone in our group said the main floor tub is slick and could definitely use that!

The view was incredible
Amazing location. We saw all sorts of sea life boats and surfers from the windows. Beautiful house, as described. We had a minor issue with the plumbing when we arrived and it was taken care of promptly. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Thank you for a lovely vacation.

Great location overlooking the beach
Check in was easy. All needed information was provided in advance. Was Contacted upon check in. I voiced a couple concerns (minor deficiencies ) they contacted me that evening. Sent maintenance to repair problems. Nicely furnished, professional grade kitchen, jacuzzi, deck, pool table, ping pong, games and more. Gorgeous views, huge west facing windows. Highly recommend

We stayed here for a work retreat. Everyone was pleased with the cleanliness, the fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The pictures don't do this place Justice. There is far more seats then pictured and the space accommodated all 11 of us. We all had our own beds and slept so nicely. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect place for our family weekend! The ocean view was amazing and the house was comfortable for all! It could use a few minor updates- new cushions on the wicker chairs (they were dirty and stained), a new rug in the living room (it was ripped and tattered), and some fresh paint(many dings and worn spots on the walls/railings)... these updates would make it a truely beautiful place! We love the gas fireplace that provided extra heat on the cold nights! We all agreed that we would love to go back!

The kitchen was nicely furnished except for a sharp knife. The place was very clean had everything we needed. We lucked out the second night and had a winter storm blow through. Quite a sight to see. The house was great for all 16 of us--eight adults and eight kids under 12. Most thrilling was the whales and sea lions just offshore (less than 150 yards) on three of the four days we were there at the end of September. Inside, all reported that the beds were comfortable, nearly everyone fit into the living area, bathrooms adequately stocked, and there was plenty of kitchenware (though we brought some of our own at the advice of a friend who stayed there a month earlier, just to be sure). Only shortcomings were the double-paned windows in the living area that fogged up and partially obscured the view, many kitchen shelves and drawers were not clean, and the very tight parking for each of our four cars. Overall, I'd highly recommend SeaGlass Cottage and Meredith Lodging. The Meredith staff really impressed me with their guest relations, helpful tips on where to go and what to do in the area, and with their response time when the garbage disposal quit on us.

Beautiful home with fantastic shared spaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and lots of quiet getaway spots. Hottub was a dream too for the surfers and kiters coming out of the frigid waters. Only issue for our party is the steepness of the beach - made it less friendly for kids to swim/splash.
