We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful house. The outside is heavenly, nature all around us.
All of us, including our grandchildren absolutely have a blast. Town is close but far enough away to have privacy.

The property and location were perfect for our trip to the national park. The house was clean, spacious, unique, and had a great outdoor area along with an indoor hot tub. We hiked at trails nearby and each evening were able to relax on the patio and have dinner while watching the deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and hummingbirds. Wonderful week in Estes park!

This is a gorgeous house in a great location in Estes Park, close to RMNP. I've stayed here twice already and would stay here again in an instant.

Wonderful house with four bedrooms, two living spaces, and wonderful outdoor space. Great location - easy to get to town or RMNP. Owners were great communicators.
We had a wonderful cookout and dined at the large outdoor table. We also enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub.
House comes well-equipped and hosts provide much more than "starter" supplies.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We arrived for a week long stay right before the 4th. Everything was as pictured and the house was fully stocked with all sorts of amenities. We loved the outdoor gas fire pit and made s’mores. The location is so convenient to everything including downtown, Lake Estes, and the National Park entrance. We will stay again!

The house was so cozy and decorated so nice for the holidays. It was very clean and had ample space for 8 adults. We had our family Christmas vacation. Wildlife visited us almost everyday. It was neat to see the deer come up to the backyard. We had a few issues with the garbage disposal but instructions were provided promptly to help reset and fix (and we even got a response immediately on Christmas Eve). The location was very convenient and was maybe a 5-8 mins drive to downtown Estes park. We would definitely stay again!

House had everything we needed, including the hot tub after a day of hiking in RMNP. Clear directions, very responsive, and would rent this house again next time in Estes. Thanks for a great experience!

I can’t even begin to express how wonderful our stay was from the very beginning to the end. The house felt like home from the first few steps into the place. The house was equipped with everything anyone could possibly want or need. The fireplace made us feel cozy very morning, and every evening. The hot tub, good for sore muscles at the end of a long day. Close to downtown, shopping, restaurants, cocktails. The wildlife in the yard, front and back was beautiful. The fire pit, a glass of wine…. Who could possibly ask for more. Thank you for opening your home to us, we all truly loved our visit.

Spacious home in a great location just outside downtown Estes Park. Nicely decorated and furnished to make our family feel at home. The hot tub was a hit with my grandson and the propane firepit was enjoyed by all. Had elk and deer roaming through the yard on multiple occasions. Breakfast on the deck watching the birds come to the feeder and the chipmunks scamper around was a favorite. What a wonderful place to spend our vacation!

We attended a destination wedding and decided to stay a full week. The house was exactly at shown. Very clean, well appointed kitchen with all utensils, beautiful front and back yard. 5 levels of living space so enough room for 6 adults to spread out. Visits to Rocky Mountain National Park are only minutes away.

This property was amazing for our family. We had visitors from the wilderness daily, including Elk, Deer, Baby Deer and the adorable little chipmunks.
The property was so spacious, we really enjoyed the backyard in the evening, as well the the large front room. All of the cousin cuddled up for a fabulous movie night. Highly recommended for a large family staying together. 5 STARS!

Pics do not do justice to this property
Loved this place. Everywhere in Estes Park is close & this property is no exception. It’s a 5-7 min drive (not walk) to everything downtown you could want to do…aerial tram, winery, riverwalk, run around the lake, etc. It’s also only 15 min from entrance to RMNP. The house is large, with clean beautiful rooms, an awesome backward, hot tub with gorgeous views that’s within a screened porch/patio room (absolutely no bugs), and a great front yard for kids to climb the bear tree or swing on the tree swing. Highly recommend this place for a nuclear family or small extended family. Oh, it’s also well stocked and we didn’t need to bother the host for anything at all while there. Thank you!

Perfect home away from home!
Loved this house! It was the perfect home away from home for us to enjoy our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Perfect location right between downtown Estes Park and RMNP. In a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of room on the front and the back porch to enjoy nature. We watched bunnies, deer, and birds every day right from the front and back porches! We especially loved the hot tub room after a long day of hiking, it was perfect! This home is sparkly clean with everything you need for an awesome trip to the mountains. We will recommend to our friends and can't wait to return! Thank you Haley and Randy!!!

Estes Home on the hill
The place was clean and homey. We enjoyed the hot tub that was enclosed in house. Only a few things we had glitches with. The main one was the weather (snow on driveway when we got there was a little bit of a nuisance when we got there to unpack). The fireplace was also a bit of a pain once pilot blew out. It was an enjoyable stay mainly. Nice time to spend with family and see wildlife etc

A wonderful home
A well appointed home with every amenity. We had a great time cooking, relaxing, and spending time together as a family. Saw elk and deer in the yard almost every day. Close to Trails, shopping and dining. Had a great time and would recommend it to all our friends!

Family get together for Labor Day Weekend.
The house was amazing. We all had a fantastic time. There was a lot of room to spread out and so many different activities to enjoy. We began our days with breakfast in the dining room watching the deer, bunnies and occasional elk come through the yard. We spent or days in Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. At night we ate dinner on the back patio, also watching the deer come through. After dinner we would enjoy the hot tub. One it got dark, we sat around the fire pit and star gazed. I hope we can sta6 again. We all had suck a wonderful experience.. Thank you!!!

Perfect location and comfortable!
We had a wonderful stay for a family get together. Great home indoors and out, had everything we needed and lots of wonderful details. Took advantage of the hot tub, fire pit, and grill. The beds were comfortable. Had a herd of elk come by twice in the afternoon. Easy access to town and RMNP.

Wonderful home in Estes Park
My family (ages 25-62) had an awesome time at this home. About two miles from downtown Estes, it is on the way to the Bear Lake entry at RMNP, where we spend most of our week hiking. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us; the hot tub, fire place, fire pit and grill were all nice amenities. Our hosts responded promptly to our inquiries. When we didn't want to drive to RMNP to hike, the neighborhood is nice for a walk, too. We saw a lot of great wildlife (a doe and her faun, bunnies, cool birds) in the back yard and a bull elk on a neighborhood walk. This was a great place to stay.

Beautiful!
The location was close to town (you can even walk if you don't mind a 4+mile roundtrip). We saw deer, elk, hummingbirds, ground squirrels, and a coyote! The outdoor seating is lovely. When a storm drove us indoors we enjoyed playing games around the large dining table. Everyone was comfortable in their beds. The wireless worked great for a couple work-related zoom meetings that couldn't be rescheduled. We appreciated the binder and all the good instructions regarding how to use the amenities. It was a terrific stay!

2021 Family Reunion
This residence was “as advertised” and met all our expectations for our 2021 family reunion. Our days were filled with activities in the national park but in between, we thoroughly appreciated the spacious home and enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor fire stove, the grill. Thanks, Randy for being so responsive.

Great couples getaway
We had four couples who stayed for a friendscation. One couple had to sleep in bunkbeds so big deal, but that was not a big deal for them. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the gathering spaces for us to eat and hang out. We were less than 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Estes Park. Beautiful and clean house with very attentive and responsive VRBO owners.

Great Vacation Spot!
We had never been to Estes Park this early in the year and of course, the largest snowstorm since the 1800s was expected on the day of our arrival. The owners were excellent at keeping us updated on the weather/roads in the area to make an informed decision. We had to arrive a day late, but the host generously let us stay a day late as well. The house, upon arrival was perfect for the six of us. The location is close to everything Estes. The hot tub was a hit for everyone, considering the 2 feet of snow outside. Sleds were available for the kids, the beds were very comfortable, and the home was very clean and well kept. Wildlife (deer, turkey, and rabbits) visited the yard almost every day, a big hit with the kids. We highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Christmas Stay
The house looked amazing in the photos and the real life experience did not disappoint! Our family of 9, including 6 adults and 3 kids, had plenty of room to congregate, spread out and sleep. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and supplies for our 4 night stay. We all loved the hot tub, the views were spectacular, and we were visited by lots of deer and wild turkeys. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and playing in the backyard. We couldn’t get the fire pit to light, but that was no big deal. Communication with the host was quick and clear. Highly recommend getting there first, so you can claim the master bedroom. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! The Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Thank you, Randall and Haley.

Relaxing week!
The Cub House served as a lovely Thanksgiving getaway for our family. We arrived to an immaculately clean home. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Owners quickly responded to the few questions we had during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. We were able to enjoy several meteors from the back yard. The children and adults alike enjoyed watching the heard of deer that visited each day. Note: if traveling with elderly or small children there are stairs to navigate both to enter home and between common areas in home. Highly recommend this rental!

Great home for visiting Estes Park and RMNP
We enjoyed a week-long stay that the house was perfect for. Plenty of space to congregate, eat, relax and play games, as well as bedrooms to spread out for our group of 5. House was very clean and comfortable. Furniture well appointed and kitchen well stocked.
The fire pit was off limits due to the fire ban, but we used the grill multiple times and the outdoor area in general is very nice. The real thrill was the daily wildlife visits, though! A large bull elk greeted us on the first day, and returned several times during our stay. In fact, there was either elk or deer visible from the house each day.
In addition to all of the nearby wildlife, it was in great proximity to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We were able to explore and see everything we wanted and were able to during covid times from this location.
Finally, can't say enough about our hosts. Everything was smooth and easy. Unfortunately we had a loss in our family that changed some of the details of our trip last second, but Randy and Haley handled it with aplomb minimizing our stress around travelling with all that was going on.
Overall would definitely recommend!!

We took advantage of virtual work/school and spent two weeks at the Cubhouse in mid-September. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, about a 7 minute drive into town. The house has all of the amenities of 'home' and then some. The kitchen is impeccably stocked with relatively new appliances, utensils, including the pantry with basic spices, flour, condiments, etc. There's a great grill in the back, which we also used several times. The beds, pillows and linens are comfortable, and there are plenty of throw blankets abound to cozy up with. The house is well sized with plenty of room to spread out comfortably. Given our virtual work/school set up, I can also attest that the wifi is strong enough to accommodate four laptops on video/audio at the same time! The hot tub was comfortably sized, and it was a real treat to soak after a long day. Our favorite spot was the backyard. Great mountain views. There's a great patio table, fire pit (s'mores every night!) and porch swing. We saw deer, rabbits, chipmunks and lots of birds (the owner was even kind enough to drop off extra seed when we ran out). We also heard elk bugling at sunrise and sunset, since it was the Rut (mating season). Please do heed the owner's notes about bears getting into the trash, as despite our best efforts, the trashcans were ransacked twice during our stay. Last but not least, the owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. Throughout our stay, we were in touch with a couple of issues that were easily addressed. When my husband left his toiletry kit, they were kind enough to mail it for us.Suffice it to say, we had the vacation of a lifetime here and hope to visit again soon.
