Perfect relaxing overnight last minute booking after a very long trip, super friendly staff, comfortable room and bed an

Good location, excellent parking facilities, very friendly staff. Good value homely evening meal with large portions !! And a good choice at breakfast buffet with the option of a freshly cooked meal as well. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Only one tiny suggestion would be to have shower screens rather than curtains.

Wanted a pub hotel. It was busy and friendly. Recommended to go, and the food was fabulous.

Useful stopover location.

Centrally located in the town, (which has a one way system). Clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Popular with the locals for meals, it had a nice atmosphere.

Most elements of the meal in the evening were good.

Stay was good and the room was in excellent condition and clean

The breakfast was okay but served to early. It was from 8am - 9am. I was there on holiday and did not want to get up so early. I suggest it should be from 8am - 10am. I did not want to get up so early on holiday

Clean and tidy , if a little outdated

Clean, tidy, and spacious room with a good breakfast great choice all freshly cooked. Location was good for the course I was on. Evening menu had a good selection.

Decoration is a little dated especially the shower area but didn’t detract from the stay.

Friendliest place I’ve stayed in.. Becky behind the bar was very helpful.. needs to be rewarded went up & beyond.

No taxis .. we were going to a wedding in Bilsbarrow.. we really struggled…🙈

THE BREAKFAST AND THE EVENING MEALS I HAD AT THE HOTEL WERE SUPERB AND OF A HIGH STANDARD.

This is a great location. There are lots of great restaurants and bars close by. There is plenty to see and do in the area.

The restaurant was a bit busy. We found that we waited a long time.

we didn’t stay. the staff blamed Booking.com. for the overbooking and did nothing to help find alternative accommodation

nothing. very poor attitude from the staff.

Despite receiving emails confirming the booking and also a reservation reference number, on arrival at the hotel, with a shrug of the shoulders and an attitude that it was our problem, we were told that Booking.com had overbooked the hotel, they didn’t know anything about the booking and it was our problem to sort out. the booking had been made on behalf of an 83 yr old disabled acquaintance. we then had to try to find alternative accommodation. which was eventually found 5 miles away by a very helpful establishment.

Night in Garstang

Good sized room with a comfortable bed. Late check in was useful.

Cook had automatically added salt and pepper to scrambled eggs.

Decent place to break journey

Great easy to access and find location. Right in the town centre

Just be aware is in the ms in road so quite a bit of traffic noise and the town clock strikes every quarter of an hour from 0700-2300 !
