This property was the best mix of size, location, and amenities. Our youngest was 8 years old and our oldest was 97 years old. We all loved spending time hanging out by the pool, living room, and game room. It was great quality time.

We have stayed here before and love it just the same.

This was the perfect place for our annual cousins reunion! Lots of space, great views, well-stocked kitchen, and the pool, hot tub, and games meant that there was always something for everyone to do.

The house and the property were beautiful! The location was great (close to wineries as well as town). Some wonderful hikes within 30min. We had fun playing pool as well as frisbee golf. Definitely be back!

Beautiful home. Well stocked. Amazing game room which the teenagers loved. I also really liked that There were signs around the home and labels so I wasn’t searching for things. Very nice neighborhood that was convenient to downtown and great for walks. There is a shared driveway with another rental and they do not have access to the yard/pool of the main house, and we barely saw them. At first I was concerned about our privacy, but this was not an issue.

This property was ideal for our large group, with 6 adults and 3 kids comfortably accommodated. The playroom and backyard were absolute lifesavers, keeping the kids entertained for hours. While the pool wasn't an option given the weather, the hot tub provided welcome warmth. There were just a couple of things that could be improved: the pots and pans were a bit past their prime, and the HVAC system in the master and second bedroom malfunctioned one night, making things uncomfortably hot--it was remedied by manually lowering the temperature. Overall highly recommended for a large group

This was such an amazing weekend getaway. The house was perfect for all 15 of us. The home and property are absolutely gorgeous and the owners thought of everything. We will be back!

Went for a girls trip, and this place checked all the boxes! It was spacious, very clean, had beautiful views, and was full of activities. We loved every second, and would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed this home with 3 families. There was a king bed for each couple; and then the bunk room and 2 more queens for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the large pool, great lawn space (kickball, basketball, golf), big driveway (scooters and trikes) and the game room. The table fit us all for a family dinner each night too. We all want to go back

I booked this lovely home for my sister’s bachelorette party. It was absolutely perfect - large open common rooms, comfortable beds, lovely pool and jacuzzi, views of the rolling Paso hills. You can tell this is a home and not just a rental - well stocked kitchen and lovely amenities.

First time wine tasting in the Paso area and we couldn't have chosen a better house! This house is so beautiful inside and out. Adults and children had so much fun! There's so much to do in the house to keep all ages entertained! Very satisfied!

We got our large family together and the house and property had everything we needed and more. The place is huge and comfy, the kids loved the playground and game areas, and the kitchen and grill came fully stocked with the tools we needed for our big meals. We didn't get to use the pool because it's still winter but the hot tub was great and we hope to come back during the summer to try the pool. There's also a great view off the back of the property. Kathy and the management team were responsive and friendly when we had questions and needed help. We'd love to come back!

Spacious well equipped house with gorgeous views. Large property with plenty of grassy and paved areas for sports minded children and adults. The playroom in the garage is as advertised on the site. It provided countless hours of fun. Neighborhood is also great for walking.

There was something for everyone including our 15 month old grandson. The 4 car garage playroom was popular with us all. In spite of the cold we couldn’t keep the toddler away from the outside playground. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. All ages enjoyed the jacuzzi. The pool looked beautiful but it was too cold (December) for us to use. The area around Templeton has plenty to do besides wine tasting. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful weekend with family and close friends celebrating our daughters 30th Birthday.
The house is perfectly located to several amazing wineries. The area is absolutely gorgeous and the house is very well manicured with plenty of parking. We were a party of 12 adults. Since we were there for wine tasting in November we did not utilize the outside pool area. It looked like it would be wonderful in the summer (and fabulous for little ones). The spa was great for a few of us in the evenings. We did use the game room and had a GREAT time, this was so fun!
The house is stocked with all the kitchen items you could need (2 coffee pots was a hit with us :). Plenty of seating for everyone and beautiful views. The beds were comfortable, sheets nice white and crisp and we loved the robes.
The Host Kathy was great! Easy to get a hold of, always with a quick response and wonderful with providing help with local restaurant suggestions.
We would definitely use Kathy again to help us plan a future stay in Paso. And if we have a large group again would definitely stay at this beautiful home!
Wineries we visited
Our favorites were Booker, My Favorite Neighbor, Halter Ranch and Oso Libre. The first day were ubered to closer wineries. The second day we took a limo sprinter van (highly recommend Alex from CruLimo) to the wineries that were a little farther out (we have learned from a prior experience that cell service isn't as dependable, therefore uber is a risk).
Thank you!

We stayed @ this beautiful home 2 celebrate my 60th birthday. Since our kids are married starting their own families, it's been tough getting together as we are spread out in CA. This house allowed us 2 gather, play, laugh, cook & swim together, while providing space 4 each person 2 steal away if they desired solitude. A few issues w/the DW but they were quick 2 handle. We'd love 2 return 4 another stay. Thanks so much 4 making our family time & my BD a cherished memory.

The pictures of this amazing property are even better than expected . We had 8 adults and another bedroom not even used . From the entrance to the backyard everything was so beautiful and peaceful with enough space for all. So many wineries close by but recommend Castoro winery within 3 miles from the house. We hope to return next year . You wont regret renting this property.

And if that wasn't enough we used the pool, jacuzzi, frisbee foolball course, old tree swing AND golfing cage in the backyard. Very family friendly and lovely setting for us big kids too.

Wow, what a place!
All of us were completing amazed by how nice this place is, the pictures do not give it justice. We have stayed at a ton of vrbos and never seen such a well stocked kitchen. We cooked in for all of our meals and were not disappointed. Only thing we wish is that the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, but no place is perfect. Pool and outside area are phenomenal. Location/neighborhood is perfect, went for walks in the morning. Lots of nature abounds.

The Perfect Home for a Large Group
This home was so spacious - so many comfortable rooms for guests! A group of 10 of us (adults between 30-40) shared this home for a wine tasting weekend in Paso Robles and had the BEST time. It was also walking distance to a few wineries close by, which was so convenient. The kitchen was perfect for cooking/ grilling outside and the pool was gorgeous. 5 stars!

Amazing Home in Central Coast
This was an awesome place to host our golf trip with some friends! We had 11 total, and each person had their own bed and/or were sharing a King. We golf at the nearby Hunter Ranch Course. The house is incredible and perfect for a large group of friends/family. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time at the Frontier Farmhouse. Would definitely visit again.
This home has everything and then some for entertaining. It is well designed for children from a safety perspective and has many activities/toys to keep them happy all day. Instruction for the use of all appliances and the like is well documented. The view from the huge backyard is as good as it gets. And the south, south east facing is the most ideal direction for sunrise/sunset and sun throughout the day. The large property has plenty of space for a nice sense of detachment. At the same time, the location is perfectly situated for access to any winery or attraction in the area. It was a great stay and would visit again.

Fantastic home
This home has everything you could ask for:
- beautiful backyard with pool, outdoor kitchen, hot tub
- clean, luxurious-feeling interior decor
- game room with table tennis, arcade machine with 3000+ games, basketball, air hockey
- golf driving area (behind the outdoor kitchen)
- two Nests to control temperature
One tip is that the 6th bedroom is the Murphy bed in the (second) living room next to the kitchen. It has a door that fully closes.
Thanks for the great stay!

Gal Pals weekend away
We were a group of 9 women and we go away on an annual trip. this house was AMAZING and we have already talked about staying there again in summer to maximize the outdoor amenities (pool, barbecue, etc). Everything we wanted to do was within about 15-40 mins from property. We visited 2 wineries, went to SLO, Paso and Cambria. One night we hired a private chef. The whole area where the house is located is beautiful and serene. We highly reccomend this property.

Perfect in every way
Our multigenerational family spent 4 very pleasant days at this property. All of the details described in previous reviews re: vistas, the quality of the property itself, the ease of communication with the hosts, the amenities offered, are all accurate. The one thing I would disagree on is that we all found every bed in the house to be very comfortable. I am not certain if our family will all be back to Paso Robles, but if we are, we would not hesitated to rebook this fabulous property.

Amazing property. Amazing hosts. Diggs team made our experience a breeze. Excellent home and perfect space for a large family. We absolutely loved everything. The game room was a hit!

Fantastic!
House is beautiful, location is ideal, views are spectacular! Walking distance to some amazing wineries, such a Castoros. We were all adults, but a load of activities for little ones and really kids and adults af all ages. The ONLY thing I would say is with 11 adults, another full bath would have been ideal, but NOT a big deal. We loved every minute there. Thank you!

We were all very excited to stay at Frontier Way. The property looked beautiful online and checked all our boxes. While our goal for our trip to so was to spend time together and enjoy some of our favorite wineries, we also wanted a home with amenities that afforded us the opportunity to relax and have fun. The Frontier Way property had a multitude of choices to occupy your time when not out and about in Paso. The pool was heated by solar and was completely warm enough for an afternoon swim. The group hung out at the pool each day after wine tasting which was really great. However, the water was too cold in the morning for those of us who wanted to swim laps(maybe we were just not committed enough). We also took advantage of the hot tub which worked great. We utilized the bbq area for breakfast and one night for dinner. Really a great area for entertaining and taking advantage of the sunny weather. With the warm temperatures in the summer the shaded area was perfect to enjoy breakfast and the beautiful view. The garage which was really the game room was complete with so many fun table games. The group played ping pong, pool, air hockey and fuseball, lots of fun!The kitchen and main living area was large enough for the group to hang out comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a private chef one night(a great recommendation from the property manager). His name is Michael Zimmerle, and his company is knife & fork. I would highly recommend him.The master bedroom was very large and well appointed. The fan above the bed was very loud and needs to be rebalanced. We were unable to use it.One of the other king bedrooms(the one in the far back)had a very uncomfortable and squeaky bed. The couple left a night early. They were both over 6'2 and couldn't use the room with the bunk beds. We were really disappointed with that and would strongly suggest that it be addressed as I'm sure the next couple will have the same issue.Regarding the bathrooms that the other rooms utilized they indicated that the towel racks in both bathrooms came off each time they got a towel. Not a big deal but I'm sure that you will want to fix that.We would recommend this property especially with a large group or family. We had a great time and would definitely rent again.
