We offer you a renovated gite in the heart of Besse, close to the shuttle service for Super Besse, and Beffroi. The gite is located in the ramparts of Besse; it has an entrance overlooking the south-facing terrace, a large kitchen-dining room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (with bathtub and shower), a paved courtyard with freestones, and a small garden. The gite is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, TV, DVD player, and it includes Wi-Fi. At the entrance, there is a ski room. The gite is being ranked. Description: Number of main rooms: ____4___________ Living area of the rental: ______around 100 sq. m Garden: South oriented paved courtyard and small garden on the west side of the building. First room: Living area (living room-kitchen), around 25 sq. m, east and west oriented. Second room: Bedroom 1, around 15 sq. m, east facing. Third room: Bedroom 2, around 15 sq. m, east facing. Fourth room: Entrance, around 15 sq. m, south facing. Bathroom and WC: around 15 sq. m, east facing. Secondary rooms: Bedrooms hallway and corridor: 20 sq.m, north facing. The gite is located in a private property in the old Besse. The entrance is completely independent from the main part of the house, and it is on the same level of the living area that has a view of the gardens of old Besse on one side and of the ramparts and Beffroi on the other. The bedrooms are on an intermediate level, in relation to the living room, and they have charming views of the old village. There is an internet area in the hallway outside the bedrooms. The outdoor photos show different views from several rooms in the gite, and sites close by foot (less than 50 m) from the gite. Garage/ Parking spaces: The courtyard can also be used as a parking space. In winter, we recommend parking the car in front of the gate so you are not trapped in by the snow. In summer, a peaceful garden in the ramparts of the village is the place where you can cook a barbecue, have a nap, or simply do nothing... Cot and high chair upon request. The rental is for one week. It is possible to rent the gite for 2 days on the weekend, at any time other than school holidays and May peaks, for € 220.

Besse, besser, schööön
Eine charmante Unterkunft, die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Grösse, jedes der beiden Schlafzimmer ist mit einem Bad mit Dusche und WC verbunden. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber, Geschäfte und Lokale sind zu Fuss problemlos erreichbar. Wir haben von Besse aus viele Ausflüge gemacht und natürlich auch das liebevoll hergerichtete Besse erkundet. Ein wundervoller Urlaub, wir werden alle sehr gerne daran zurückdenken. Danke Pierre!!! Wir sprechen sehr gerne eine Empfehlung aus.

Une très belle location
Avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement est propre, bien décoré, grand, fonctionnel, bien équipé. 2 belles chambres avec chacune douche et WC. Propriétaires très gentils . Situé dans le joli village médiéval de Besse.

C'était parfait
Situation, accès , logement tout était parfait, juste une toute petite chose la lumière qui est dans le couloir qui donne accès au couloir est commune avec le logement du propriétaire , donc ne soyez pas surpris si elle s' allume toute seule ce n' est pas un fantôme 🤣, et dernière petite chose le manque de civisme de certaines personnes qui stationnement juste devant le portail d'accès du gîte qui est en stationnement interdit et normalement réservé au locataire du logement, mais je reviendrai sans aucune hésitation .
Merci pour ce magnifique séjour dans une si belle région.

Bel appartement de charme.
Magnifique appartement, très vaste et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Très calme et confortable. Situé à l une des entrées de Besse,tout se fait à pied.Beau jardin dans le creux des remparts.

Le logement est irréprochable, tant par son emplacement que par le logement en lui même. Une salle de bains, douche, et wc par chambres, une pièce de vie confortable et suffisamment spacieuse pour 4 adultes. Rien à dire de négatif pour ce logement, bien au contraire, nous le recommandons vivement.

Très beau gîte confortable
Très beau gîte chargé d’histoire, spacieux, tout a été pensé pour nous sentir comme chez nous. Le gîte est idéalement situé au cœur de Besse à proximité des commerces.
Très bon accueil du propriétaire qui aime sa région et prend le temps de nous conseiller sur les lieux de visite, merci encore pour votre accueil, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Der Parkplatz befindet sich direkt reserviert am Grundstück.

Séjour idéal
Deuxième séjour dans cette jolie maison idéalement située dans ce pittoresque petit village médiéval.
De la réservation à notre arrivée, la communication s'est faite aisément et nous remercions le propriétaire pour son accueil chaleureux.
La maison spacieuse, très proche du beffroi et du centre mais calme offre un confort bien agréable. Tout y est pensé pour que le séjour soit réussi. La très belle terrasse entourée d'un ravissant petit jardin est fort appréciée pour le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner, ou simplement pour se détendre après une randonnée
De superbes balades sont accessibles au départ de Besse et Super Besse et offrent des vues magnifiques.

Agréable découverte de l'Auvergne grâce à ce charmant logement spacieux bien équipé et pratique grâce notament au grand sas d'entrée idéal pour le matériel de ski.

Un hebegement idéal
Une place dans la cour pour la voiture(au plus prés pour les valises; un espace à l'entrée pour se dechausser et laisser les manteaux et chaussures, un espace de vie et un coin cuisine bien équipé et deux grandes chambres avec chacune cabinet de toilette et toilette. Voila comme dit plus haut:IDEAL

Le logement est confortable et chaleureux, très bien pensé pour une location. Il y a de nombreux rangements, un endroit pour déposer sacs, chaussures de randonnées ou skis en saison, et la cuisine est bien équipée. La terrasse est au soleil l'après-midi et a une jolie vue sur le beffroi.

Gîte spacieux et agreable. Ds une jolie commune
Il faut penser à préciser les dimensions de chaque lit . Une cuvette ou panier à linge ne serait pas de trop. Pas de volets ni double rideaux ds pièce de vie....vue sur la cuisine du propriétaire. Le beffroi n est d aucune gêne pour dormir ( fenêtres fermées ) je recommande ce gîte.

schöne Wohnung in einem alten Gemäuer
Die Ferienwohnung ist in einem alten Gebäude, das zur Stadtmauer gehörte, eingerichtet. Eine alte Scheune wurde als großer Vorraum und angrenzendem Wohn-Esszimmer mit Kochzeile umgebaut. Über eine alte Steintreppe kommt man in die beiden großzügigen Schlafzimmer. Die Küche ist gut bestückt; es gab ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser und Pfannen. Alle Elektrogeräte funktionierten einwandfrei.
Die ganze Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Der Vermieter wohnt mit seiner Familie im gleichen Anwesen. Es war immer ein Ansprechpartner da. Die Schlüsselübergabe verlief reibungslos.
Einziges Manko war der schlechte Internet-Empfang. Man hatte nur in einem der Schlafzimmer einen guten Wifi-Empfang.
Von der Wohnung hat man wenige Meter zum Ortskern. Es gibt einen gutbestückten Supermarkt, eine Metzgereifiliale, Bäcker und zahlreiche Geschäfte mit Käse und regionalen Spezialitäten.
Besse ist eine wunderschöne gepflegte mittelalterliche Stadt. Ausflugsziele im Nahbereich sind Murol, St. Nektaire und Mont Dore. Etwas weiter weg (aber lohnenswert) sind die Messerstadt Thiers und Salers. Grandiose Ausblicke auf die Vulkanlandschaften hat man in Superbesse, auf dem Puy Sancy, auf dem Puy Mary und natürlich auf dem Puy le Dome.
Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter; es gab nur sonnige Tage.
Bis zur ersten Juliwoche war es in Besse noch ruhig; allerdings hatten auch noch einige Geschäfte geschlossen. Das änderte sich dann aber schlagartig und es kamen tagsüber zahlreiche Touristen und Wanderer in die Stadt. Abends war es wieder ruhig.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Week end prolongé sympathique
Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce charmant gite, très bien situé au coeur de Besse Saint Anastaise, lieu très historique et animé. Le gite est très spacieux, idéal pour une famille et les installations sont très bien. Point de départ chaque jour pour découvrir l'Auvergne en journée et revenir le soir.

Große geräumige Wohnung in alten Gemäuern mit Charme
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und angenehm warm. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren mit Kind unterwegs und waren über das große Bett sehr glücklich. Supermarkt gibt es gleich um die Ecke und die Altstadt sieht man vom Fenster aus. Der Charme des alten Hauses hat uns sehr gefallen. Außerdem waren die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und alles verlief problemlos.
Wir kommen gerne wieder! Für uns zählt die Gegend zu einer der Schönsten in Frankreich.

Perfekter Kurzurlaub in der Auvergne.
Der Ort Besse ist wirklich einen Besuch wert. Dazu noch diese Ferienwohnung mitten im Ort im alten Gemäuer - top saniert und eingerichtet! Der Ort ist auch idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Auch Wanderrouten und lukullische Verführungen finden sich quasi vor der Tür. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder. Gîte idéalement situé, très près du centre ville et pourtant très calme. Le confort de la location qui ne manque de rien nous donne l'impression d'être chez nous. Besse et ses environs offre de belles randonnées pour profiter de la nature. Une destination à recommander!

Très joli gite avec le tout confort. Belle décoration et 2 très belle chambres. Extrêmement bien situé. Besse et Saint Anastasie est un lieu magique à découvrir, comme tout ce qu'il y a autour de ce village.

Ruhe in der Renaissance
Die Unterkunft in Besse ist wirklich schön. Zentral gelegen in Besse und dennoch nachts sehr ruhig (Anfang Juni). Die Ausstattung in dem Haus mit Bauabschnitten vom 13. bis 19.Jahrhundert ist modern, farbenfroh und sehr komplett. Die Vermieter sind ausgenommen hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Also nur Lob, was das Ferienhaus betrifft.
In Besse ist innerhalb der ersten Juniwoche in der ersten Juniwoche leider nicht die vorhandene Infrastruktur geöffnet. Zum Teil ist nur ein Restaurant geöffnet, die vorhandenen schönen Kunsthandwerkläden sind z.T. gar nicht geöffnet. Das muss man zu der Zeit wissen, damit man nicht Falsches erwartet. Kochen kann man selbstverständlich super in der Ferienwohnung. Der große Supermarkt ´Auchan´ ist eigentlich immer geöffnet.
Die Gegend ist fantastisch schön. Dem Vergleich mit dem Auenland aus einer anderen Bewertung kann ich nur zustimmen. Wir waren zum Rennradfahren dort: top Gelände mit sehr gutem Straßenzustand, selbst die kleinsten Wege. Dass es fast die ganze Woche geregnet hat, war den atlantischen Tiefausläufern zu verdanken und natürlich nicht förderlich für das Radfahren. Aber Wetter kann man ja nicht bestellen :-)

The house was very clean and the private parking space was very welcome. The bedrooms were good size, but both faced on to the town square which made them noisy, even with windows closed. The bathroom was huge, but with a doorway that you had to bend down to pass through (under 5'6"). The kitchen had all sorts of fancy gadgets, but no lids for the pots. There was one small sofa that seated two - other seating was upright plastic chairs. There was an unexpected cleaning charge of 60 euros that was not mentioned in the original listing - and that we only learned of a few days before our arrival. On the plus side, the outdoor space would be lovely in warmer weather and Besse is a charming town that makes a very good center for local sightseeing.

Very nice holydays in a charming appartment in Besse.
The appartment is located in old walls, the small garden is very sunny and the country is fantastic.
Pierre, the owner, helps you when you need an advise for the country.
