Mid-level bedroom #4: double with deck access Mid-level bedroom #5: twin bed (plus double pull-out sofa —sheets in closet) Bedrooms 3 4 & 5 share a full hall bathroom with tub/shower Bottom level master #6: large king en-suite, ground floor entry access, TV & coffee bar. Top-level Seating; Dining table: 8 Nearby game table: 4 Bar: 3 Screened In porch with table and chairs for 8 Baby table chair and a Pak 'n Play, plus a baby gate accessible. There are tables and chairs galore on the deck and in the shade of the pergola. A large side-yard allows outdoor games such as corn hole (provided) or bocce. Kick the can, squat tag, frisbee throw, and flying kites are some of our favorite uses for this bonus outdoor space. Listen to the waves crash on the beach from your getaway jewel of a beach house. Corolla Light Resort guests enjoy private beach access with walkways over the dunes, and the most beautiful, clean, and beckoning beach on the Outer Banks. Corolla Light Resort is loaded with amenities & paid for access under the “cleaning” line of your total. Wrist bands will be provided at checkin or available for pick up at the front office. Enjoy a drink or evening out at the only oceanfront restaurant on the Northern Beaches. You could stay all day at the Oceanfront pool complex with games and activities for the kids and a snack bar. Never worry about a rainy day: check out the Sports Center with a huge jacuzzi, racquetball courts, a complete gym facility, and indoor tennis courts. (Indoor pool is closed for roof replacement 2023-2024 season) You may also use the Sports Center on check-in day before you can get into the house, and on check-out day after you leave Beach Parfait. Extend your vacation a little with this extra time. Back at the house, three King ensuites mean ultimate comfort and privacy. In all, six bedrooms and five bathrooms will welcome a maximum of 12 guests. A hot tub, screened dining porch and Weber gas BBQ grill plus all kitchen needs (yes, we have a Keurig, yes we have a food processor, yes we have a Vita Mix!) will please the crowd. It's a cook's kitchen, with sharp knives, plenty of pots and pans, a seafood steamer, most spices, and a double door fridge with ice maker. A big hit with our family is a 60" HD TV in the great room with Amazon Prime and HULU, plus the comfort of a HUGE sectional sofa from which to select your viewing. Lounge in the hammock, have morning coffee, or sunbathe on the wraparound decks. The beds are comfortable, the decor is understated, the community is the best on the Outer Banks. We had a lovely time staying at Beach Parfait. The house was clean, conveniently located, and generally had everything we needed. The house is walking distance to the resort’s pools, playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, and beach. It was helpful to have the beach wagon to carry our chairs and pool/beach toys, too! Ashley, the property manager, was responsive when we needed help with the grill—thank you! We recommend printing out the check-out list if you stay with another family just to make sure everyone follows what is asked. We will definitely stay at Beach Parfait again!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Beach Parfait.
The location was stellar. The beach is an easy five-minute walk away. There are also playgrounds, sports courts, and outdoor swimming pools equally distant within the neighborhood. You could even walk to the public library or the lighthouse if you were so inclined.
The entire house was clean and welcoming. The home was well decorated and friendly, not sterile or hotel-like as I've seen in other vacation rentals. Everyone in our party (8 adults, 1 toddler) had the space they needed both for relaxation, games, and visiting. One of the smaller bedrooms even had blackout curtains that were perfect for my toddler's naps and night time sleep. Each 2nd and 3rd-floor bedroom has direct access to deck.
The second and third floor decks make indoor-outdoor living effortless. I loved popping out on the deck in the morning and enjoying the breeze any time of day. And when we weren't quite ready to go outside, my toddler was able to play out on the third-floor deck with the sliding doors wide open while we made breakfast and slowly got ready for the day.
The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, bowls, silverware, and really anything we needed.
The owner reached out to us before our trip and was very responsive throughout our stay and quickly resolved the handful of questions that came up while we were visiting.
I highly recommend this property and won't hesitate to rent it again if the situation arises.

The hosts provided it all and pampered us with extras. For instance I don’t have a keurig in my bedroom. And there were endless varied seating arrangements in the many outside areas. And the resort offers so much for every age group, and it’s a short walk (or trolley) to the bakery and the ice cream and the restaurants. Don’t we all eat in that order?Recommend this house and the hosts for your Corolla visit…

First trip to OBX and this house made our experience an incredible one. Fabulous walking/ (rental) beach cruising location to beach, decks for meals and family gatherings, spacious open clean kitchen and family room, extra beach chairs and accessories - and excellent communication and responsiveness from host. Wonderful resort community and house perfect for extended family vacation. We will be back (and cannot wait!)

Lovely Big Beach House
This house was beautiful with great yard space, a fantastic location, lots of beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a very helpful host. Because it’s on a resort there are a few more rules than usual but that wasn’t a problem for us, and the amenities make it worth it. There’s so much to do! The house was a great hangout spot at the end of the day.

Fantastic house in fantastic resort
House is nothing short of spectacular. It’s very spacious, clean, well decorated and upscale. Very easy to use with nice decks, hammock, bbq, outside shower. The location is fantastic close to pool, beach , restaurants, can use bikes to get anywhere, explore the sound side and light tower , go to beach and pool, and book tennis ans surf lessons. Kitchen is well stocked and a chefs kitchen. Barbara is very easy to work with and responsive. We had zero issues. Perfect stay.

The house was even more impressive than the pictures and right next to the beach, the pool and the Corolla Light Village so we could walk or bike everywhere. Barbara was great and shared with us some great recommendations for thing to do and places to go and even a photographer for family photos on the beach. It was like a home away from home!

A delightful getaway
My family and I stayed here late June of 2019. We were welcomed to a beautiful home that was from top to bottom clean and inviting. The large kitchen area was enough for us (12) to have meals together and hang out. They truly had everything you could need to cook with there and ready to use. The decks around the house made it easy to find a quiet nook to read or enjoy some company. The bedrooms are a great size and perfect for larger families so that everyone can have their own space and bathrooms (a bonus!) We appreciated the washer and dryer to use throughout the week for suits and towels and the occasional load of laundry.
We had two toddlers and it was close to the beach and the pool area. We did bring a foldable wagon which I highly suggest doing if you have little ones to walk down. The resort was so nice and gave everyone something to look forward to. The pools are a great size and we loved that they had a little kids pool for the children.
The owner of the house, Barbra, was so kind and answered all the questions we had before we arrived and even helped us out with a TV issue during our stay. She made sure we were taken care of for sure!
We would highly recommend staying here! It was truly a delight and a place where our family made some great memories.

The house was very nice comfortable. Great access to the beach or the sound side. The kitchen had an excellent stock of utensils and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were dark for sleeping when shades were closed. We had a terrific stay at Beack Parfait and will rent this house again.

This is funny, because I am the owner of this house. Of course I think it's the best, and I'm not sure why VRBO wanted me to rate it.

Beautiful home with attention to detail
Our week long stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful , very organized, very clean, and so comfortable. It was an open floor plan which we love. Barbara was very responsive and her attention to detail made our week so relaxing and enjoyable. We look forward to renting this home again!!!

What a great vacation!
So many good things to say about this rental! First, the resort is outstanding. There are many scheduled activities, beach chair & umbrella rentals, and storage lockers on the beach if you don’t want to bring gear back and forth each day. The resort was not overwhelmingly large, offered plenty of beach space for each group, and occasionally servers from the on-site restaurant would come around on the beach to deliver food and drink orders. Beach Parfait was perfect for our needs! It had plenty of space, a full bath for each of the 4 bedrooms we used, comfortable beds, was WELL appointed, had 2 huge decks, an awesome grill, and a great kitchen/DR/living room space. The caretakers were very responsive (we called to ask them to repair the broken hinge on the top deck gate and they came out that same day). The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because of the AC. The house guidelines said that the top floor would be warm and the bottom floors cool but we found the exact opposite. The top floor was too cold at times and the bottom floors too warm (even with the supplied fans). The thermostats were locked at 69 degrees so we couldn’t make the lower floors cooler. We thought about turning off the AC and taking advantage of the amazing breezes but we couldn’t get the windows on the lower level to open. Otherwise we would definitely recommend this house -- thank you, Beach Parfait!!
Some advice for others: 1) Driving in to the resort, don’t listen to GPS if it wants to take you through neighborhood streets; stay on the main road until you reach Route 12 and then head north. The side road traffic was a nightmare on Saturday. 2) Do listen to Barbara’s advice to bring dinner for Saturday if possible. We didn’t go grocery shopping until Sunday and still found the stores to be a bit of a madhouse. 3) Recognizing that every storm is different, don’t be discouraged from visiting during hurricane season. Hurricane Chris parked itself off the Outer Banks during our visit and if you had looked at the weather maps you might have thought our vacation was ruined. In fact the weather was amazing! We saw very little rain until we went down to the Hatteras lighthouse and had some incredibly beautiful days. The only impact was that we couldn’t go swimming for two days because of rip currents (but the resort pool was available instead).

Perfect Beach Vacation
Beach Parfait is a wonderful beach house. It has everything you could need for a perfect vacation. Close walk or bike ride to the beach access or pool areas. It's very roomy and charming. Corolla Light has beautiful facilities and location. It's a great place for the kids to enjoy biking. This was a return visit for us and we totally enjoyed it. My adult daughters and their families joined me. We had 5 adults and 5 children and the house was a great size for all of us. The kids were already talking about next year on the way home!

a perfect week at Outer Banks
We loved our stay at Beach Parfait! The house was spotless and welcoming. All the appliances were working well, the washer and drier were new, as was the outside grill, with a full tank of gas. The bedrooms each had their own bathroom, which gave us plenty of privacy. The upstairs gathering room was spacious, with comfortable seating.
I would highly recommend this home, to anyone who wants a special week to remember.We will certainly come again. Becki W

We loved our time at Beach Parfait
Staying at Beach Parfait was a perfect choice for our family of 7 adults, one teen, and a 2 month old! The spacious layout gave everyone privacy, it was extremely clean, and it was beautifully decorated in classic beach cottage style. We especially enjoyed the short walk to the beach as we have previously rented homes on the Sound side. Additional bonus was communicating with Barbara, the owner, who was extremely responsive to emails and even a phone call we made about a health crisis that could have prevented us from making the trip. She was really super to work with. I highly recommend this home, and we would definitely choose it again.

Amazing get-away location with many amenities!
Perfect beach house for big families having 3 floors with sleeping quarters allowed for privacy. Great if you have younger children because it is a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!! Ms Thomas was quick to reply to our questions. Our week did not have any glitches. The Corolla Light community has many activities and amenities as well

The house was nice. Good location.
It was disappointing to have to bring extra things along with us like kitchen towels and soap, hand soap for all of the bathrooms, extra bath towel sets if we didn't want to have to do laundry. I had to bring an extra suitcase for all these things; at least the owner told me in an email that these things would be needed. I think basics like bathroom soap, washcloths, etc. should be provided.
