Eastern Shore two bedroom cottage with dock on a quiet creek of the Chesapeake Bay in Wittman, Maryland. Surrounded by mature majestic shade trees. Beautiful water views on 3 sides and facing west with spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your screened front porch. Quiet street, ideal for relaxation and getting away from it all.

Interior remodeled/upgraded a few years ago. Bright living area incorporates: living room with two sofas and a recliner, TV with basic cable, VCR player and video collection; dining area which opens onto side deck; and a modern kitchen with silestone counter-tops, single oven, fully stocked with dishes and utensils, including toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle. Two modest sized bedrooms. Master with queen bed and sliding double doors opening directly onto front porch. Ensuite bathroom with shower and jetted soaking tub. Second bedroom with queen bed and connected bathroom with shower. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Grill (gas)on deck for use by guests, Private pool open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Includes a portable Fire pit near private dock that has a bench to watch the wild life and sunsets.

Wireless internet access.

Enjoy crabbing and kayaking (two kayaks with vests provided) from the large dock (bring your boat - draw about 4 feet) or just relax and read or watch the water from the newly screened porch furniture. Self-contained for everything you need for a relaxing time away from home, work and the madding crowd!

Enjoy riding our 2 bikes or take a ride just 7 miles into St Michaels along 322 where you can enjoy coffee at the "Blue Heron Coffee Shop" on Talbot St. as good as you can find anywhere or dine at any one of many fine restaurants after you amble through the shops and explore the harbor. Easy access to St Michaels, Easton, Oxford.

The cottage is beautiful and comfy on the inside. We enjoyed the screened porch where I sat for hours reading my book. I must admit it was my first time being in a place where there are no streetlights, and the dark of night is so beautiful. I can never see the stars in the city. A gem. My mother, husband and I really enjoyed our stay.

This was our 6th year staying at this rental, and we were able to enjoy another great family vacation. We did have a tropical depression roll in one day, which did some minor damage to the lower portion of the pier. This didn't fully impact us, but could for future guests. The property manager indicated they would address promptly. It was an excellent location, clean, and well kept.

Relaxing, comfortable stay for our annual trek to the bay for crabs. The property was perfect for us. It is very charming. We loved the screened porch for morning coffee, the bench on the dock for a sunset drink, and a lovely pool area to wile away the day. We used the kayaks and the bikes. The cottage is outfitted with everything needed. Beds & linens are very nice. The living area is sunny and bright with beautiful views of the water. The host responded quickly to any requests or questions. Bonus: 10 minutes away from our favorite crab house! Thank you! We plan to stay again.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Kayaks were fun. Pool was much enjoyed for the hot days. Master bath tub amd shower were awesome. No vanity space so used 2nd bath to get ready in and do hair. Great kitchen. Brought our bean grinder and blender. Screened porch relaxing. Used both closets and dresser to hold our clothes. Working out was great here with safe place to run outdoors, swim, kayak, and use workout app and my light weights. Slept great. Locals are super friendly. Overall great stay.

We loved this cottage on the water in Maryland. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The pool was just steps out the back door. It was sooooo quiet! It was a great place to stay for our July 4th holiday. We fished off the dock and caught lots of fish. I highly recommend that you stay here for your next trip!

My wife and I enjoyed our few days of quiet on the water. But it would be a great place for a boating family. The pool is very old but the water was clean and clear. St Michaels is a sleepy little town during the week but active on weekends. It is a bit of a tourist trap so be prepared for restaurant prices that above normal. The property was cozy, clean and well kept and I did some fishing each morning off the dock. Overall an enjoyable and peaceful get away

We came here for the St. Michaels Running Festival. The location was perfect for navigating the morning race traffic. It was also the perfect spot to avoid the extra foot traffic. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was lovely to sit either on the screened in porch or in the living room and look out onto the water. It happened to be chilly & rainy during our stay but with views of the water, we didn’t even mind that.

Great venue, very nice house. Outside needs a bit of landscaping and there was no grill available. Inside is very nice with great view of the local waterway. Nice dock for relaxing.

We spent a 3 day weekend here with another couple It is a great house in a very scenic location. It was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed everything about it. We would definitely recommend this property!

The house is very light with many large windows. Kitchen is large, well laid out with plenty of counter space. We were there in the winter, and the heat worked well. Lovely to see the water both in front and towards the side. Beds were comfortable. Everything seemed clean and in new condition.

Magee's Cottage is a charming stay on a branch of Harris Creek. Nice views of the water from the living room/den. Large kitchen and dining area. Only the ground floor is available, but it is plenty big for four adults with two bathrooms. Although the road is between the house and the water, it is very quiet; we did not see/hear another car passing in front in the three nights we stayed. Location is relatively convenient to St. Michaels. We would stay again.

“Magee Cottage” is the most cozy, comfortable and well appointed haven for a vacation to relax and enjoy life. This charming home had everything we needed to savor all the natural beauties in the Bay Hundred area which includes many sightseeing adventures and super restaurants. Our host Stacy was most welcoming and wonderful. We were totally pleased with everything and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed this cottage-was a perfect spot for a wedding in Tilghman Island! Quick 10-15 minutes from both the wedding venue and the town of St Michaels. Really great living spaces and bedrooms, plenty of room for everyone. I booked the place over a year in advance so my communication from the owner/VRBO was kind of confusing, but reservation was ready to go as promised. Only thing we were wishing we had was a few staples you often see at a rental such as coffee, shampoo, etc, but this is certainly not required by the owner! Thanks for a wonderful weekend-we would love to come back!

We had a great time near St. Michael’s at this home away from home. Super spacious and comfortable. We got a lot of good use out of the pool, kayaks, deck, kitchen, and living room. So cozy and comfortable. We went for Labor Day weekend and had a chance to explore st. Michael’s. A perfect location and extra space, given how quaint downtown is. No problem parking when we ventured into town. Also good proximity to Lowe’s wharf and the black water nature preservation. Highly recommend this spot! Only downside (not being from the area) waterfront access didn’t let us swim because there were jellyfish! Kayaking and the pool were good enough. Recommend Easton for grocery shopping

The very best thing about the cottage is its location - close to St. Michael's and Tilghman Island, but a world away from both. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cottage is comfortable and homey, well maintained, and of course, the pool is a big plus. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Relaxation, quiet and comfort was what we were looking for and exactly what we found. The sunsets were beautiful and watching a summer thunderstorm from the front porch was spectacular! If you are looking for rest and relaxation or waterfront activities, this is the spot for you. The only reason for 4 stars was the cleanliness of the pool, which was affected by the intense heat during the course of our stay. We loved every moment of our stay and learned so much about the history of the area. Highly recommend!

This property is exactly like the photos- just beautifully decorated and accommodating. All you need for a relaxing get-away with a side trip to St. Michael's. Peaceful. The screened in porch is a bonus, bench on the dock for fishing or sunsets. Comfortable bed, filtered water, and lots of movies or books. The 4 star on the cleanliness was because the pool was not cleaned due to the holiday. Otherwise, perfect! We loved it.
