About this apartment rental

After viewing several properties at the lake area we knew we found "The One" the moment we walked through the door.

This home was previously owned by people of prominence that updated this condo for their own personal enjoyment. When you walk in the door you are greeted by hardwood floors, solid raised panel doors and a beautiful, furnished new kitchen.

The unit has a cheery open floor plan with split bedrooms and baths for privacy. There is a washer and dryer. The furniture and bedding are of good taste and have recently been updated.

The master bedroom is spacious with a bathroom on suite, tiled floor, double vanity and additional private balcony.
The view from the balcony of our home is of the lake, the pool and hot tub area, but most beautiful, the newly added paver outdoor fireplace area.

It is so enjoyable to sit on the balcony at night, and look directly down on the fire and the attractively lit landscape and waterfall area.

We also own three other units here at The Shores. If you might be in need of an additional unit for family and friends they are....

Everything you need for a stay is there. Loved the bigger table with room for all to gather together. The kitchen was wonderful. It was so nice to have 2 full bathrooms. The view from the porch was great. Beverly was always ready to answer questions-- a great hostess!!

We loved the property!! There was plenty of room for my husband and me as well as my son’s family (a 4 year old and 10 & a half month old. We were on the first floor which was great for trying to haul our stuff to and from the beach/pool with the little ones. The owner was very accessible.

We enjoyed ourselves at the Shores. Our condo was clean, nicely appointed, great floor plan. Great view of Lake Erie. The grounds were very well maintained and the pool and hot tub were a great way to end a busy day. It as convenient to restaurants, ferries and grocery stores.

This condo complex is right on the lake and has all the amenities you could ask for. The owners are kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. Fun time with my best friend and our spouses.

We visit Port Clinton a few times a year and this is the first time in this condo complex. It was very convenient, spacious and clean.

Great condo. Wonderful pool. Conveniently located. Our only complaint is the very loud upstairs neighbors. We had small kids with early bedtimes and we could hear everything happening in the unit above. We’ve stayed in several units in The Shores and you can always hear floors creaking but this was another level loud.

We really enjoyed our long weekend. The condo was so nice and clean our kids loved it. The pool and hot tub were great also.

Great location, easy to get into property. Layout inside was very nice. Very well equipped with kitchen basics: utensils, serving bowls, silverware. Surprised to find spices and other cooking items in the cupboards. Very clean.

Overall decent stay some small things that we did not care for was the A/C is weak or needs a recharge was somewhat tolerable for a September stay but would not get this unit again in the middle of Summer. No ceiling fan in master bedroom and ceiling fan in living room was inoperable. No nightstand in master bedroom cellphone ,tv remotes, and bottled water had to be placed on the floor next to bed. Paper thin ceiling sounded like a bowling alley whenever the people above us would walk around or flush the toilet. ( cheap built buildings not owners fault I assume ) also the shower head in master bath very low pressure and the shower in the other bath is the smallest shower stall I have ever seen. You can tell the unit is a rental and needs some off season updates. We basically get these condos because we like the Hot Tub and the Pool otherwise ehh....

Fabulous condo with views of Lake Erie! Well maintained, clean and decorated with a beachy vibe. So close to great restaurants, shops and ferries to the islands. This was our second stay with Bev and Brad and we’ll definitely be staying again!

This was a restful vacation spot. The condo and appliances were adequate, very clean, and in good condition. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The property owner was very helpful, all directions were easy to follow, and the owner provided a helpful list of restaurants and things to do and to see in the area. The scenery is breathtaking. We had a very pleasant stay, and we would love to go back soon.

We loved our stay here. It’s very clean and fully stocked. I was so pleased there was a keurig!! The neighborhood felt very safe. The view is very nice of the lake and fire pits. The owner was so pleasant to work with.

We are school friends who meet annually somewhere fun…have been doing this for decades. The Shores fit the bill for a delightful north coast get-away in off-season. Still beautiful weather, excellent restaurants, and delightful, very nicely furnished accommodations. Very pleased with this booking!

We were looking for a nice getaway for our family before school started and this was perfect. The condo was beautiful with an amazing view of the lake. Our kids loved the pool and the private beaches. The surrounding area was also beautiful with a lot of free activities to do. We actually ran into Bev and Brad at the pool one day and they were both lovely. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

This property was perfect for two couples! Beverly has it so well thought out to the tiniest details. Beds and furniture are comfortable; the condo is located within walking distance to town and groceries; and the pool, beach and green spaces are lovely. We really enjoyed our stay at the condo at the Shores. Great location and the condo had everything we needed. The balconies are very nice. There was construction going on on the outside of a different building in the complex and was loud at times, but nothing bothered us too bad. The resort area is wonderful also! Pool, fire pit, hot tub, lake access and views made for a perfectly relaxing day. We took Miller Ferry to visit South Bass/Put-In-Bay one day also. Busy island with a lot to see and some great restaurants made for a super fun day for us and our 4 teenage daughters. We would definitely come back!
