The condo is located on the San Miguel River in the incredibly beautiful, Historic town of Telluride, CO You're just a few short blocks from Downtown, about 4 minutes to Lift 7 and the Gondola Station in either direction. Also, Town Park is the gathering place for many festivals in the summer season and is an easy walk of only 1/2 mile. Stroll along the quaint, Victorian homes or the River Trail, which is right out your door. There are 2 grocery stores within a few blocks, a liquor store and restaurants are just steps away. If you happen to be a person who may not enjoy walking or are impaired, there is a FREE shuttle, The Galloping Goose, which can pick you up at the corner of the complex every 20 - 30 min. and makes a full loop through town all day and into the wee hours of the night.

Gorgeous place in Telluride
Our family was in Telluride for 3 nights and we had an amazing time at the Viking lodge. The place itself is very spacious and you really get the feel of a mountain house. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the main street and the balcony gives access to the trail by the river. Communication went well as we got all the information we needed. I absolutely recommend and I would come back.

Great family spot
We came to Telluride with our family of 7 and this location was perfect. Right next to the store, the gondola and the town center. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The house was clean and everything worked great. We didn’t want for anything that wasn’t readily available!

Needed Escape
We needed to see the beautiful town of Teluride and ski. Had a great time staying at this property. Really close to the lift and easy walking into town. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for an amazing ski weekend!
This condo was the perfect place for our family to stay for an amazing weekend of skiing and dining. The location was perfect —an easy walk to Lift 7 right out the back door was ideal to start and end the day right on the slopes and the location in town was so convenient for exploring Telluride. The accommodations in the condo aren’t fancy but were very comfortable and just right for our family of 5. Lily and Natalie from Lodging in Telluride made a great trip even better with their extremely prompt help both before and during the trip. We can’t wait to return!!

Quick family ski getaway
Overall a great stay. The unit is just as nice as it looks and the dealings with the property manager were very pleasant and easy. The unit also was very well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen that made eating in a pleasure. It is conveniently located just steps from lift 7 but about a 7 minute walk from the gondola. The only down side was the thin walls between the adjoining unit where in certain rooms you could hear other people conversations.

Excellent property for our trip with 4 older kids and 2 adults. Very well stocked and clean. Critical features as we did alot of take out food and in house cooking. Close to town and easy walk. Lift 7 is very close, about 3 minute walk with your skis, boots. However, to ski home (nice!), you will need to ski telluride trail (not really for novice skiers) or take the gondola and then walk 10 minutes. More of a challenge with your skis etc. But you can take galloping goose. Just more effort if you can't ski the telluride tail.

A perfect family place
While the furnishings and bathrooms are a bit dated and the water pressure is a little weak - this is the PERFECT family rental. We loved to spend all day on the porch and watch our kids play in the creek. Yes, you will have many people walk right by the yard, but you are at a distance and the views can't be beat. We stayed in October and the fall sun DID get a bit hot, even though it was 60 to 70- degrees. But we WILL be back. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful condo, great location!
We had a wonderful time at the condo! Incredible location with a yard, creek for the kids to play in, and right on a walking path. It was easy to walk anywhere in town even with little kids. Great amenities, checkin very easy. Would definitely stay again!

First time in Telluride
This property was clean and comfortable. The location was great, you can walk to the end of town pretty easily. Being able to open up the large doors for the breeze and the sunshine was perfect. It is also located right next to the pool and hot tub. I was very pleased with the space. I felt very comfortable with the precautions that Telluride has put in place for navigating Covid-19. Some people on the street weren't wearing masks but every business had safety protocols in place and I felt very safe. I would highly recommend this unit and Telluride in general.

Great place to stay in Telluride
Our family stayed in this rental in early June 2020. The home was very clean and comfortable. The location of the home could not be beat. It is on the main trail and river. The home is within easy walking distance to pretty much everything in Telluride. Easy walk to the lift to ride over to Mountain Village. Would highly recommend!!

We had a blast my husband and I with 3 of our 5 children went for Christmas 18-26-34 all boys. They had a ball being kids again. Skied as much as was so cold and snowed the whole time we were there. Want to go back to same place next summer. We are from the south. Didn't know it really got that cold , beside that the house was GREAT big enough to not be on top of each other. Every thing you would need was there. Looking out kitchen window was a treat just beautiful. Perfect location too. Never saw the owner or manager but did not need them anyway was told how to get in and when to check out. Supper easy It really was wonderful trip. House is clean, stocked and comfortable

Nice Location and Views
We visited Telluride in summer and enjoyed the corner unit for it's views and deck space. Very spacious kitchen and having a washer/dryer in the master was a plus. There were only two of us so I cannot comment on the upstairs except that it was quite warm upstairs even with a couple of windows slightly opened. Parking was easy and the unit backs up to a river and the walking path which was a plus until people were staring inside and even trying to talk with us just because the patio doors were open for airflow. The negative of this rental was NO SCREENS on windows. So before dusk every day we had to close windows and doors or mosquitos and bugs were in house. Yes, the view is nice without screens but it's a problem in summer months when there is no a/c in the house. Overall, I would recommend it but make note of no screens and lack of privacy on the porch if that's an issue for you.

Overall experience could not have been better. Georgie from Lodging in Telluride really took care of us from the initial booking through the entire trip. 100A at Viking Lodge was perfect for our group of 7. Great open layout with the kitchen, dining and living room all together giving everyone room to spread out while we relaxed after a day on the slopes. Being on the creek with a wrap around porch to get a little sun in the afternoon was great and the hot tub is just a few steps away. The house was set up with a lot of little extras that you don't always find. For example... ground coffee in the cabinet, great assortment of spices and shampoo/conditioner in the showers. There were many more but needless to say no one will be disappointed staying here. Everything you need is just a few blocks away. We will be back.

Lovely stay
I have used vrbo homes probably ten times and this was the easiest to navigate yet. Georgie made sure all our questions were answered and Bob was there to welcome us with coffee and a big smile. This condo was the envy of the three other families we knew staying in telluride. The location was great, views were lovely, condo was in great condition, clean and had comfortable beds. Plenty of space for the seven of us and our boys sledded right out the back door when the lifts closed. We had a fabulous trip and are already looking to book it again next year!

What a great place for a ski vacation!
Six of us now living in different parts of the country, rented this condo for a ski reunion. We had not skied together for over 8 years. We all agreed that this condo was the nicest place we have stayed and we have skied all over the West! There was plenty of room for 6 adults, the living area was fabulous!! The gas fireplace as well as the in-floor radiant heat, the state-of-the-art washer and dryer and the spacious desk area with free WiFi were all a bonus. We never ate out - the condo provided all of the comforts of home and was furnished with everything that you need to prepare dinner at home. Tom and Mindy, the property managers were so easy to deal with - from the first phone contact, to the welcome note on the door, to their availability to answer questions, it was evident that they loved their job and that they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. When one of us realized they forgot to pack their ski suit , Tom saved the day and immediately offered one of Mindy's. Needless to say, we were impressed and very grateful! The pictures on the web are great but they can not describe the essence of this place, it is beautifully furnished and appointed with great attention to detail. The custom iron handrails on the stairway features snowflakes and skiers. The views from the walls of windows are particularly beautiful at dawn and dusk . We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient ( did I mention that we never used our car; the location is perfect for enjoying all that the area has to offer!) spot. We hope to return next year!

Exceeded our expectations!
This was such a great property!!! We have three children (9,7,4) and there was ample room for all of us, a well equipped kitchen, nice linens/towels, well maintained pool and hot tub, and a fabulous private deck and small lawn area. In addition, the location is superb - the dirt bike path was just off the deck so we could walk or bike everywhere, no need for a car. And the creek runs just the other side of the bike path which provided hours of entertainment for the children. The manager is very attentive and I will definitely return here on our next visit to Telluride.

Viking Lodge #100 has been our home away from home in Telluride for the past few years. While visiting our daughter and her familly who live in Telluride, we all gather at this condo for meals, evenings on the deck enjoying a barbeque, entertaining family and friends.
We have stayed here during the festivals of July, and during the early snowstorms of October and every stay has been fun and memorable. I do not know of any other condo in town to match what this condo has to offer. We had our daughter's baby show during the summer in Viking 100 and on the big wrap around deck, and it easily accommodated 50 guests.
Tom and Mindy go all out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The condo is well managed, the rooms are beautiful and designed for the comfort of our visit. It's location on the river trail and the river, nearness to the gondola and Mountain Village, and also nearness to the shops and restaurants in Telluride make this condo an important part of our visits to the area.
I would highly recommend this condo to anyone, and cannot wait to get back to Telluride to stay here again.

Our family has stayed in this condo both summers and winters. If you are looking for a very comfortable condo, that takes a large group, and has an unbelievable location next to the San Miguel River, you have found it!! Park your car as won't need it till you leave; everything is within walking distance of town. The condo and wrap around deck will take a family or a reunion if you need to have more folks over. The hot tub (around 104) and the pool (around 84) will keep you feeling great after one of the close and convenient hikes, bikes, or skis. (You can hit chair 7 with a 7 iron shot). Newly remodeled, this place has EVERYTHING you will need. Tom and Mindy will take great care of you and your group. Ask them anything about Telluride and they will probably know the answer! Enjoy!!

Just finished our first stay in Unit 100 (Sept. 5-9, 2009) and can't say enough good about it. We have stayed in other properties managed by Tom and Mindy and all are first rate. Unit 100 is no exception. The views from the condo are amazing whether sitting on the wrap around deck listening to the river or from inside the perfectly decorated condo. Nothing was held back in redecorating and furnishing the condo and everything is first rate. As always Tom and Mindy's signature "attention to detail" is evident throughout. It is also quiet and conviently located. While we had a vehicle we walked everwhere in town without trouble. In our opinion, after 8 trips to Telluride, Unit 100 is the best value in town when compared to other rentals of this caliber. We give it a ten out of ten.
