Located on a quiet cove just off the main channel of Lake Hamilton with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, this cozy 600-square-foot, completely remodeled cottage is a relaxing retreat for getting away from it all or a comfy landing place for a weekend full of activity. With a mix of contemporary finishes and eclectic furnishings, Lake Place Cottage features an open concept kitchen, dining and living area, one bedroom and one bath.

Enjoy the scenery … any season! The vaulted ceiling living area opens to a large deck with the best views of Music Mountain, the highest point in Hot Springs National Park. Fire up the gas grill in the courtyard for an outdoor feast, lounge on the deck and read to sound of birds and waves lapping the shoreline, or take a sunset boat ride on the calm waters. With 45 feet of lakeshore in the Stokes Creek Basin, you can go fishing in your own back yard, right off your private, one boat slip covered dock!

Fall fast asleep snuggled in luxury linens atop a Casper mattress — with high-density memory foam — on the queen bed featuring a custom headboard fashioned from re-purposed wood from the original house. A queen sleeper sofa in the living area increases guest capacity! The bathroom features a built-in vanity, a tiled walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer closet.

High-speed wireless Internet access is also provided, and WiFi allows access to your favorite streaming media using our large screen HDTV.

Lake Place Cottage is ideal for couples, small families or small group getaways. There is a long stair walk down to the dock, which may not suitable for the elderly or frail.

The cottage was clean, fresh, modern and so relaxing. Spent 2 days on the deck reading and watching the water activities. Everything we needed and were disappointed when it was time to leave. If our travels ever take us to this area again, we will certainly stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary trip to the Hot Springs area. We loved being close to Hot Springs National Park and staying on the lake. The cottage was quite comfortable with nice access to the lake. We took our kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the inlet. The deck area was pleasant for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. We highly recommend Lake Hamilton Cottage.

The property was about 20 minutes from most of the popular activities we did. The setting was perfect for relaxing together on the back porch or cuddling on the sofa together. The host was extremely nice and resourceful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

This was one of the cleanliest properties we have ever stayed at. Everything we needed was there even lake towels and Kleenex. The hosts thought of everything. We couldn’t safely get down to the lake bc of the incline (we are in our 60’s so we didn’t want to risk anything). Location was perfect and we enjoyed host’s food recommendations!

We loved our stay at the cottage! We enjoyed fishing and floating right off the dock, and with it being our first visit to Hot Springs National Park, it was nice that it was just a quick drive over to Bathhouse Row. Loretta and Jim Bob had great recommendations for food and we appreciated the cottage being stocked with all the essentials, including wasp spray! We had a great weekend and will definitely be back!

My 1 night stay in the cottage was a wonderful time away. I live about 3 hours from the location and just wanted a place to get away for a bit. I did some fishing, met an awesome neighbor, and even swam a bit. All before passing out on somw of the best darn pillows I have ever used!

This neat lakefront cottage is an excellent place to come home to during a visit to the Hot Springs NP area. With Lake Ouachita State Park, and other parks and National Forest areas to fish and hike, we found this a great place to come home to. Updated and comfortable, perfect for a couple or maybe a young family. The owners were responsive to questions and helpful with ideas and suggestions for spots to eat/visit. Highly recommend this VRBO!

The cabin was extremely clean and well-equipped with everything needed for a short weekend getaway! My only “want” would have been access to a fire pit outdoors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when the weather is more comfortable to do some outdoor activities.

I can't say enough good things about this little place. But I'll try! First, the communication was absolutely excellent. A storm had blown through the night before and knocked power out, but the owner kept us completely informed so we could make a decision about whether to go in or not. We did and, boy, am I glad! The place was absolutely immaculate. Not a speck of dirt anywhere. Everything was very modern and up to date, with lots of little attention to detail that made us smile. It's located in a nice neighborhood. We met one of the neighbors and enjoyed a fantastic conversation with him. Very nice. And the view! The mountain view in the photos is not exaggerated. It's that nice! Sipping coffee on the patio in the morning watching wood ducks swoop in across the mountain and into the river inlet was a sight to behold in the morning. It's also close to town, but you feel very removed from any hustle and bustle. Without writing a book here, suffice it to say, we'll be back!

The little house on the lake was the perfect place! Having recently been remodeled, really reconstructed - a binder with a picture story sits on an end table - the lake cottage is an ideal place to stay. Great views, lovely amenities, and only a few minutes from town makes this the perfect stay for a couple. We hope to be back.

Lakeside home beautifully renovated from top to bottom. Bathroom is spacious and the well designed kitchen has all the comforts of home. So much to see: Hot Springs, Lake Catherine, Garvan Woodland Gardens and Ouachita National Forest to name just a few! Restaurants galore! The list of recommended restaurants that Mary Ann gave us were phenomenal! Communication with Mary Ann and the check in and check out process was so smooth. Great vacation experience!

We were contacted by the owner the day prior, via telephone, and she explained the check in process and spoke to us and gave suggestions on things to do, places to eat, etc. She then sent a text message with all the instructions and told us to reach out if we needed anything. She was helpful, quick to respond to messages and very informative. The cottage was clean, well kept and in a great location near the lake. My girls and my wife loved the views and the patio and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The wife and I will be coming back again for an adult weekend.

Your cottage was an ideal choice for our stay in the Hot Springs area. The house was very clean and well equipped. Views of the lake were very nice. Location was very good with quick access to town but still away from all the congestion. The only trade off would be road noise from the nearby highway. It was only noticeable when sitting on the porch. Inside was very quiet and comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay at this immaculately clean cottage. The deck gave a beautiful view of the lake and was very comfortable. We fished from the dock and sat with our feet in the water. The close proximity to downtown allowed us to enjoy the bathhouse, shopping and great restaurants! We will definitely be back!

This cottage is very nice, has everything you need, is on the lake and has views of the mountains. We enjoyed the large deck in the evening after spending the day on the lake and early morning having coffee!

We decided to take a short anniversary trip to go to Hot Springs. We had never been before but now we want to go back! This house was perfect, nestled in the trees and on the lake, but still very close to everything. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking at the beautiful view. Very relaxing and we hope to get back there soon!

We absolutely loved everything about this property. Not too far from town if we wanted but still off the lake where we were able to go fishing when we wanted and super cozy if we wanted to stay in! Hope to be back!
