About this villa rental

This first floor Bay Creek Villa overlooks the Edisto Marina, Big Bay Creek & South Edisto River. Relax & enjoy the sunset & sunrise views on the covered balcony. All the amenities you need for a perfect vacation & to make you feel like home are provided including WIFI, cable, washer/dryer, linens & a fully equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has a connecting bath & the master bedroom opens up to the covered deck with great views of the creek.

Enjoy your day at the beach, which is a short walking distance, or take a splash at the villa's pool. Right next door is Bay Creek Park & Edisto Marina, as well as a restaurant that has beautiful views overlooking the creek. You can spend the day fishing or crabbing at the park dock or have a picnic in the park. The park hosts many special events & is great for a wedding venue. On Wednesdays from April to October the park offers an Arts & Crafts Market from 9:00-4:00 pm. Edisto Marina is a full service marina. Enjoy a sunset cruise, a fishing charter, or launch your kayak at the boat landing.

Spend the day exploring the island by renting a bike or golf cart from Edisto Bike Rentals which is walking distance. Edisto offers trails & bike paths for visitors to explore the island. There is a 5 mile traffic free bike path, as well as has biking trails at Edisto State Park that has great views of the marsh, forest, & wild life, or just stroll along the quiet neighborhood streets enjoying the restaurants & shops. Golf carts are not allowed on the beach or Palmetto Blvd., but there are many secondary roads you can explore. You may not park the golf cart at the Bay Creek property, but Edisto Bike Rentals has a parking lot with charging stations.

Absolutely love Edisto Island! This villa was so nice and I’m happy we found it. Really clean, and great location. Easy walk to the bay and a short few minute drive to ocean. Beautiful views off the deck. The only thing was that the pool was only opened one day the whole week we stayed. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay here.

The condo met our expectations. The expansive view of the marina and across the marsh, from the deck, living room or bedroom, is the best thing about it. Master bedroom is decent-sized & mattress was comfortable. Other rooms are quite small. It was fine for the 2 of us but might feel cramped for more than that. Condo itself is relatively up to date but the building itself - 3 floors and 60+ units - is tired and shabby. It was virtually deserted most of the time we were there (off-season), which was a little disconcerting.

This villa was an excelent place to stay! Great location and all the amenities you would need! Nothing beats getting to sit on the patio and overlook the marina and watch the boats. Inside the villa, everything you need is there. It is obvious that it is well maintained and taken care of. We would definitely stay there again!

This was the second time we've stayed in this condo. It was very well appointed and was exactly as advertised. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed the occasional dolphin in the marina. We plan to visit this condo again!

Couldn't ask for a better short vacay before the craziness of the school year. Perfect location to sit on the balcony and enjoy the marina or listen to the entertainment from Pressley's. The host was great with quick responses to any questions we had as well. Thanks for the great memories!

Lovely condo! The unit was very clean and comfortable. It is nicely decorated with beautiful views of the marina, marsh and Big Bay Creek. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the boats and wildlife. Although the kitchen is on the small side, it has everything we needed. We would stay here again. We love Edisto!

Very comfortable clean well equipped condo. Perfect view of the creek with dolphin sightings and birds birds birds. Neat to see sunrises and sunsets fro the pier. Easy access to excursions, beaches and restaurants from this location - and loved the Wednesday market. Fantastic communication with the owner. An excellent vacation that fell into place as soon as we arrived.

This place was perfect for our beach vacation. Sitting out on the balcony overlooking big bay creek every evening and listening to the live music at nearby Pressley’s was the highlight of our trip. The adirondack chairs were very nice and sturdy. The couch/recliner were comfortable, the place was clean, and the location was perfect for us. My only critique is that the spring mattresses on the twin beds were pretty uncomfortable.

Diane was a great hostess! Easy to work with and get in touch with. The condo is cute and has anything you might need on your vacation. Ours was a short stay but perfect(except the weather didn’t cooperate) but we made the best of it! Thank you Diane for sharing your condo with us!

Super clean unit with wonderful views of river and the marsh. Very quiet and relaxing. Only one negative was it's not a short walk to the beach. Can't imagine walking it when its 90 degrees.

My family of four recently stayed in this condo and really had a wonderful time! The condo was fully stocked, clean, and comfortable to stay in during our Spring Break. We enjoyed the location since it was close to so many things! There isn't anything I would change! We look forward to returning this summer!

We traveled from AL to Edisto for a work event. Decided to bring the whole family & glad we did! The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Conveniently located near beach, marina, & several local eating establishments. Highly recommend this property if considering a trip to Edisto!

We enjoyed watching the birds in the marsh and Bay Creek. Also we liked being able to ride our bikes to the State Park and walking to the beach. The condo is very comfortable and the owner was great to work with and very accommodating.

We enjoyed the new couch and recliner chair. Condo has a nice view of the marsh and Bay Creek. We enjoy the board walk and the park that is nearby. Marilyn is in a wheel chair and was able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. The scatter rugs are a tripping hazard with their curled up corners.

This property was all I hoped for and MORE! It was immaculate in cleanliness and appeared to have been freshly painted. Both the living room furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed. The owner even had a little table Christmas tree which was appreciated since we were there Christmas weekend. * The only downside was not being able to park in the owner's space - she wasn't going to be there, so I don't understand why we couldn't do so. When we were ready to leave there was no laundry bag in which to put our soiled linens. We did let housekeeping know. One concern I did have and that was no mats or other helps for the bathtub to help in avoiding slips/falls. Neither were there any grab bars. I think those would be an asset, but it won't stop me from staying here again.

The check in process could not have been easier. The condo is updated and very, very comfortable. Fantastic view of the marina and creek. I was a little concerned about going Thanksgiving week and figuring out how I was going to do all that cooking in a strange place. No need to worry, it was tremendously stocked with cookware, serving dishes, measuring tools, cheese grater, etc. I was so impressed! Had drinks and dinner at Pressley's multiple nights. Was just a fantastic Edisto experience. And I've been going there for over 40 years! If you are looking for an "easy" stay, book this Bay Creek villa!

We’ve stayed in this unit several times. Having the marina right outside the door for our boat is the best. We had everything we needed in the unit. We enjoyed dinner at Pressleys right at the Marina. We’ll be back.
