We stayed here with our golden retriever for 6 nights. What a great property it is. The main is huge and our dog Milo loved it. I can't say enough about the views of Newfound Lake. Spectacular!!! We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather for practically the entire stay so we experienced the most beautiful sunsets ever. Wed never tire of this view.
The house was so well stocked, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of reading material and all kinds of games were available throughout the property. The upstairs loft
is a peaceful haven to take in the fabulous views.
Communication with the owner, Janis, was very prompt and we found her very friendly to deal with. We definitely look forward to returning soon.

We are very familiar with the area and were looking for a new place to rent since our usual house was unavailable. We couldn't have asked for a more fantastic place.
The house is stunning, the view is spectacular. It was pristine in terms of cleanliness. Everything we could have asked for was available and when we needed something - light bulbs, for example, the hosts responded immediately. We had grandparents as well as teens all living together in the space and it was perfect. We would definitely return. Thank you!

This place was a slice of heaven. Our bulldog Cleo loved it too.

Visited with our family of 4 during the summer and the accommodations worked out very well for us with our 5 month old and 2.75 year old. The week had great weather and nice sunsets which was a bonus. Communication with Janis was easy. Would recommend to other similar family’s and we will return again next year.

We had a great experience at this property. The house was very spacious and well stocked. The view was absolutely gorgeous.
We highly recommend it.

Had an amazing week at this beautiful home. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice, it’s breathtaking with views of Newfound Lake and mountains all around. The house itself was so cozy and comfortable.. settled in quickly & felt right at home. House was also clean and well stocked with just about everything that you need. I’ll definitely be booking another stay at this location in the future!

And the house is quite nice. It has one of the most well stocked kitchens I've seen in any past rentals. Even though temps were in the mid 80s, the house remained comfortable, fans provided a breeze when there wasn't one. There is an a/c in the master suite. There are a good selection of games and books for down time. It is very close to Wellington State Park and the Newfound lake Audubon Center(hiking is great in both), and the towns of Bristol and Plymouth, both of which have a good choice of restaurants and shops.
The only thing we would've liked to have added was a fire pit for the cool evenings but certainly not a negative point.

The view from this home is absolutely stunning. The sunrises and sunsets are unmatched! After driving around the area, I think it is safe to assume this property has the best view around. I cannot speak highly enough of the view and location. The neighborhood is very quiet and a short drive to the local beach and state park. Our main issue with this property, however, was the cleanliness. When we arrived, we had to vaccum the basement floor and couch because there was food and glitter everywhere. We ended up having to buy some of our own cleaning supplies, including dishwasher tabs and laundry soap. The owners provided one dishwasher tab, which is not sufficient for a week stay. Further, the checkout policies require guests to wash and fold all bed linens and towels, but there were only a few laundry soap tabs left when we arrived (again, not sufficient for a family of four on week long trip).

We never got sick of looking out at that view every morning with coffee. The location is wonderful. We did so many activities and the furthest was 30 minutes. The family room in the basement was great for the kids to play and the adults to take a breather upstairs on the main floor. The only challenge was the heat wave and there being no A/C in the house (except a window unit in the master). But the heat wave was so extreme that I think the lack of air movement in there was probably made worse. When the heat wave broke for us it was such a relief in many ways! Would 100% stay here again!

This property was amazing. The views were spectacular. It was just me my husband and dog Gemma. There was so much space in the house with plenty of games and puzzles. Plenty of spices to use. We love the area

I can't say enough about the view from the deck. It is incredible! The house and the amenities where just as described. The home was well stocked with everything you could need and was very clean.
We were surprised at just how peaceful the location was. We expected to hear the boats and celebrations with it being Memorial Day weekend, however it was so quiet. Sitting on the deck at night, all you could hear was nature.
The hosts provided great communication and they also took the time to think of small things to make our stay great. They left a basket of dog toys, a leash, water and food dish which was such a wonderful surprise. Our 12 year old dog certainly loved it!
We were sad to leave but have already looking at going back!

House is exactly as listed, perfect setup inside, everything you need, view is outstanding - we couldn't get enough sitting outside on deck. Property Manager easy to deal with and communication was excellent, more than happy to help. Would recommend to stay here.

It's all about that view! Words alone just can't describe the absolute awe inspiring scenery. You'll just have to book it and go see for yourself. Inside was clean and comfy. Communication with owners was great.

The house certainly has amazing views! We were there for the fall color and it was fantastic. There is plenty of room in the house and on the decks. Star gazing was also beautiful.
The house seems to be popular and well used. There were plenty of cooking utensils but it was difficult to find pots and pans as things are quite in disarray in the lower cabinets. We also had to wash several pans before they could be used due to the grease still on them.
Even though we paid the cleaning and the service fees, we still had to do several loads of laundry and take out garbages before we left.
There is an alarm system. The owner had very specific instructions for us about the system. It wasn’t on when we arrived and more than half the doors and windows were unlocked anyway.
New Hampshire is a beautiful area. We were able to do some fantastic hikes in the area and we explored the White Mountains.

Needed a long weekend away from the fast pace busy life we live. My husband, two kids (8 & 5), two dogs and I had a perfect relaxing weekend. House was just as described. View was INCREDIBLE. We barely used the basement except for one night watching a movie but the selection of movies and games could have kept us busy for days. We instead enjoyed the deck, the upper 2 levels with their views and some spectacular hiking. We visited the some nature trails on the north end of the lake and had a great close encounter with a barred owl and another day explored profile falls also incredible and fun (on a warm day I bet folks are swimming there). We enjoyed Bristol for restaurants. The Irish pub (Kellys?) Was so good and the owners so friendly Neighborhood was very quiet and nice to walk the dogs in. Homeowners were helpful. House was clean. Perfect thank you!

All was good with property, process, & communication. Was the perfect setting for our family gathering. Plenty of space, and better stocked than I expected. Beautiful setting & view added to the overall experience. Owners very prompt & helpful with A couple minor glitches. Will certainly consider future visits.

A wonderfully equipped house with a stunning view. We spent much time on the deck looking out over the lake and enjoying the sunsets.
For such an isolated location, we were surprised by the amount of noise we heard from neighbor's lawn equipment and far off traffic.
Although we got a beach permit, we actually swam at a nearby swim hole next to a waterfall only a short drive away and a 5 min walk through the woods. Hightly recommend going there.

Our stay at this log home perched on a hill overlooking Newfound Lake was wonderful! The house was plenty big for 6 adults. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful view. The open concept living room and dining area was great for our family for hanging out and game playing. The kitchen was the best equipped I've seen in all the rental properties I have been to. All the kitchen tools, dishes, and pans you would need are provided! The beds were comfortable. Everything was fantastic!

This home is located overlooking Newfound Lake and Mt. Cardigan. The unobstructed views are fabulous. I especially loved the reading nook in the 3rd floor loft. There is plenty of room for a family and grandparents and a separate room with games, puzzles, TV , DVDs and extra beds for tweens! Janis and James are delightful hosts! We liked it so much that we’re returning this summer!

We needed a break. We needed peace and quiet. We got exactly what we needed. Daly's Den was our haven for a glorious week. Clean, warm and welcoming. Stunning views to drink in as we just took time to breathe. Thank you so much for giving us exactly what we needed.

Three friends celebrating a 60th birthday. Spectacular view from anywhere in the house. Beautiful home, very peaceful. Would definitely rent again if going up that way again.

Gorgeous views Comfortable accommodations. Great location. Thank you for sharing your home with us and our black lab! We will come back!

This is a wonderful home and in a great location for hiking. The views from the main living areas were phenomenal! The views alone were worth the stay. The drive up to the home was a breeze as all the roads leading to it were well paved. To stay in a home with views like this, we always had to travel up many gravel roads. Not so here...a real plus! The furnishings made for a cozy and comfortable living space, which could easily accommodate a large family. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, utensils, etc. which enabled us to easily prepare all our meals. Though, we ordered pizza one night at Village Pizza...very yummy! There was no need to contact the owner during our stay as the information provided before our arrival covered everything we needed. The owners do a great job of explaining all that is needed in detail. If we ever plan another trip to the Bristol area, we will return to this lovely home.

We had a great time staying at the Daly den. Gorgeous views. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. So many options for hiking and enjoying the beauty of New Hampshire. It was great week to recharge from city life. Thank you Janis and Daly’s. We hope to be back soon.

The home was beautiful and very warm and welcoming. There were five female friends who spent the time relaxing, watching movies and catching up. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the beds were very comfortable. The view was perfection! Thank you !

It was a great experience. It was a beautiful cabin with amazing lake views. Sunsets were our favorite. Janis, the owner of the property was very prompt in her replies and quickly answered all our questions. The communication was great. Kitchen was well stocked. Very safe and kid friendly. We had an infant with us and we felt very comfortable. We carried our travel crib, but there is one if you need it. House also had baby gates, high chair, all of it in case you need it. We simply loved the place. And will be hopefully coming back each year.

Beautiful home with amazing views of lake and mountain. Jan and Jim were very nice and responsive...
