About this house rental
Beautiful two level residential home located in South Kihei, Maui. The 3 larger bedrooms have their own private bathrooms. The 2 smaller bedrooms share the 4th guest bathroom. 2 living rooms. 2 car garage.
Fully furnished with all the standard comforts of home. This home is very comfortable with 10 people max (limited by County permit). The office has a built-in dual station desk, complete with a iMac with high speed Internet access, available for guest use.
Ocean and Haleakala views including the island of Lanai & Kahoolawe from the wrap around patio & upper deck, which includes a BBQ, extra long dining table and seating area.
4 Flat Screen TVs, 3 AppleTV's w/ Netflix app, wireless Internet, cable TV, & an assortment of DVDs while you relax in Air Conditioned comfort or enjoy the island breezes. 4 of the 5 bedroom have ceiling fans. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler provided. Just off the lower patio is a gazebo covering a 5 person Jacuzzi (425 gallon). The public pool is a 5 minute drive from the house.
This home has a huge solar system.
Many rental car companies are on the island. We have public transportation/bus system as well as many Uber drivers. We also provide 2 adult sized bicycles for cruising around Kihei.

• Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries is prohibited at ANY time
• Vehicles must be parked off the street on the driveway or inside the garage and cannot be parked on the street.
• Guests are asked to remove their shoes before entering the house.
• No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
• Guests bear the risk of any injury to themselves.
• When driving, stay within the posted speed limit in the neighborhood.
• Check-in is between 4:00 pm & 9:00 pm and check-out is 10 a.m.
• For any check-ins after 9:00pm, a self-checkin can be arranged.

Terms & Conditions of Vacation Rental
In consideration of the monies received and the mutual promises contained herein, the Owner (herein referred to as Manager) of the subject property hereby agrees to give a license to use the Property to the undersigned, (herein referred to as Guest), on the property and dates described on the reservation form and in the confirmation e-mail, under the conditions stated herein.
Advance Payment: Guest agrees to pay Manager an Advance Payment in the amount specified on the reservation form and in confirmation e-mail. Advance payment is used to secure the property for advance reservations and is due at the time the reservation is made.
Final Payment: Guest agrees to pay Manager the final payment on the date due and in the amount specified on the reservation form and in confirmation e-mail.
Damage Deposit: Guest agrees to pay Manager a damage deposit in the amount specified on the reservation form and in the confirmation e-mail. Guest agrees to pay Manager the amount of actual damages to the Property arising from use of the Property, as well as for missing items, excessive clean-up and, if necessary, the cost incurred in removing Guest from the Property.
Property Inspections: All problems, including inadequate cleaning and damage, must be reported by phone and email to Manager within 24 hours of check in for prior guest to be held responsible. Manager reserves the right to enter premises at any time for the purpose of effecting necessary inspections, repairs or maintenance.
Notification: It is Guest's sole responsibility to inspect the Property upon arrival. In addition to inspecting the smoke detectors, Guest agrees to inspect the entire Property to ensure that it is free of hazards and properly equipped. Properties are not equipped for the elderly or handicapped. Guest assumes the entire risk of injuries arising from use of the Property. Guest will ensure that the Property has a secure shower or bathtub mat, and that the Guest takes reasonable measures to prevent slips in the bathroom, on staircases, steps, on balconies and throughout the Property. Guest agrees to take a higher degree of care in the use of the Property because of the age of the structures on the Property.
Occupancy: The maximum number of occupants allowed in the Property is specified in the reservation. Children under the age of 4 are not counted. Overcrowding or misrepresentation is grounds for immediate revocation of the license to the Property and removal of Guest without refund. The Guest is the person who will occupy the Property. Parents may not book Properties for their children. The Guest must be present at the Property for the time of the reservation and take full responsibility for the Property. Small children are the responsibility of the Guest. Use the property and amenities at your own risk. Guest takes full responsibility for all lost or broken items and any damages to the Property of any kind.
Restrictions on Property Use: Guests are prohibited from engaging in any unlawful activity or any other activity that constitutes a nuisance. Violation of this provision will result in immediate eviction without refund, and Guest will be held liable for any damages to the Property, contents and grounds.
Personal Property Loss: Manager is not responsible for any loss or damages whatsoever due to the loss, theft or damage to Guest's personal property or to personal property owned by Guest's visitors including any vehicles whether owned, leased or rented.
Subletting and Assignment: Guest may not sublet, sublicense or otherwise grant any rights to the Property.
Property Use: The Property may not be used for any activity in violation of local, state or federal laws, or Hawaii Insurance rules and regulations.
Attorney's Fees: If Manager consults legal counsel or a professional collection service for collecting any amounts due to Manager under this Agreement, Guest shall be responsible for all costs of litigation and/or collection in case of such, including actual attorney's fees.
Limitations on Rental: Manager will not be liable for circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to appliances or air-conditioning/heating failure, other mechanical failure, unfavorable weather, disruption of utility services including cable television, etc. There will be no relocation, rental pro-ration or refund in the event of such circumstances. In the event Manager is unable to deliver the Property to Guest because of property sale, property Manager decision, fire, mandatory evacuation, eminent domain or Acts of Nature, or if the property is unavailable because of construction delays or lack of utilities, Guest agrees that Manager's sole liability, as a result of any of these conditions, will be a full refund of all payments tendered by Guest. Guest expressly acknowledges that in no event will Manager be held liable for any other condition out of the control of the Manager, or for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, expenses that result from moving or for any other losses.
Tenancy: The Guest acknowledges that this is NOT a tenancy for the Property. The Property is not rented for more than 30 days and is taxed and treated as a transient occupancy, akin to hotel accommodations. Property laws do not apply to the license granted herein, and the Guest may be removed as a trespasser immediately upon termination of this license. The Property is rented on regular short term periods and for a significantly higher rate than a non-vacation rental. Often a Guest is scheduled to begin a vacation in the Property on the same day as the checkout day of another prior Guest. If Guest stays even one additional day, Manager would face significant logistical problems with the next Guest, including possible liability. As such, Guest agrees to vacate immediately on the checkout day by 10:00 a.m. Failure to do so will entitle Manager, in addition to all other remedies available to it, to have Guest ejected by law enforcement as trespasser and to physically remove Guest and all of Guest's possessions from the Property (for which Guest hereby grants permission and consent) and obtain damages and injunctive relief against Guest. If the property is not rented to another guest on the same day, you may request a late checkout and we usually can accomodate your request.
Indemnification: Guest agrees to release Manager from and against all liability should anyone be injured upon the premises during the term of occupancy resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of personal injury caused by willful gross negligence on the part of the Manager.
Effective Date: Not withstanding any thing to the contrary, this Occupancy Agreement is binding and effective when no signature is required, and Guest's affirmative assent to the terms is expressed by Guest's reservation of the unit. If Guest desires to terminate this agreement due to lack of assent, he/she must do so within three days of the date the reservation was made.
Governing Law: The terms and conditions stated herein will be interpreted by and governed under the laws of the State of Hawaii and any action arising out of this agreement shall be litigated in the State of Hawaii.

great 5 bedroom home for adults, hot tub was great on the one cold day we had during our week. we enjoyed the air con and fans helped on the hot days.
Rode the two bikes to Kamala Beach park, awesome day.

We had a fabulous stay. Comfortable, quiet, and well equipped, this house was the perfect place for our large family to gather and use as home base amidst our Maui adventures.
So nice to have the bicycles, breach towels and beach chairs available.
The kitchen and barbecue are great for cooking at home, with a perfect view of the sunset off the lanai, but there are also dozens of great dining options nearby.
We found loads of lovely snorkeling spots in close proximity.
The house itself has more space in and out than we even made use of.
And when we had an electrical outlet problem, Daryl came right over and sorted it out.

This property was ideal for me, my wife, our three adult children, and spouses with my grandson. Clean property and we had a great day.
Owner was easily accessible and gave us a follow up person just in case he was unavailable while traveling.
We had no issues at all in the neighborhood was very quiet. Also, quick access to beaches and stores. It was a great location for us to have a base hub while we were traveling with our whole family.
I would certainly stay here again, if the opportunity presented itself.

The house for 9 adults was great. We loved the location - it’s a 3 minute drive or a 20 min walk to a great beach (boogie boarding, turtles, etc…).
Shops and food nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful.
House was clean - the access to bikes, towels and beach chairs is great. We rented boogie boards and snorkel stuff by the beach.

The house & location was perfect for dining most meals on the deck with beautiful sunset views, breakfast (before 8:00 am time restriction) on large indoor dining table, and access to the many beaches of South Maui. Enjoyed our manageable day trips from Kihei to West Maui, Haleakala and the Road to Hana.
Appreciated all the beach towels, chairs, and beach toys available for use. Especially the hot tub used daily.
Daryl was always very responsive to our questions & concerns before & during our stay. Very accommodating to allow early checkin as house was ready. Hope to return someday!

House worked well for our family trip. Not a bad walk to Kam III beach and centrally located in the Kihei/Wailea area. Located close to Piilani highway making getting to other areas on the island handy. Enjoyed the view from the lanai. Had a great trip.

We were 10 people ranging from 13 to 81 there to celebrate an 80th birthday. The house was as depicted in the photos, but the deck was even better than the photos, as there are now 2 tables which easily seated the 10 of us for all our outdoor meals. The hot tub and ping pong table were very popular. The few times we emailed Daryl with issues he responded very quickly. He kindly allowed us both an early check-in and late check out as our flight didn’t leave until after 10 pm.
For those who enjoy an early morning walk or run, you can get down to the beach through the Maui Banyan property in about 10 minutes and then walk from Kam I to Kam III along the ocean.
Although it was often difficult to force ourselves to leave the deck at 8:45 the rules were very clearly stated.
We totally enjoyed ourselves in this property.

Great location, close to the beach. The house was spotless, lots of space for us. An initial problem with the fridge freezer, but was promptly fixed. Comunication and response time with Daryl was immediate. We didn't want to leave!!

We had an amazing time, the house was clean and worked great for our needs. We especially love the patio deck and getting to see the sunset from there. The backyard is also surprisingly beautiful and private and lush.

My siblings, myself and our spouses loved our stay at this property! There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room for us to take some space when needed;) Morning coffee in the hot tub was the perfect way to start the day and all the beach equip made beach days a breeze. The home owner/host, Daryl, was wonderful and super responsive. 5 stars! Highly recommend!

We spent 7 days in Maui making memories that will last a lifetime. There were 8 adults and we never felt crowded because there was plenty of room to spread out or hang out. Everything (except the AC couldn’t go lower than 74) was perfect about this place. The view was gorgeous and the location was so close to local businesses, food and the beach. The owners were in contact whenever we reached out.
Maui is the ideal place to visit, and this house made it feel more like home.

First impression--dirty exterior. Location was what we expected, nice view of the ocean. The kitchen had adequate dishes for our group. The interior of the house was clean. The deck was very nice for our group to all eat at the same time.
Now to the points we disliked. Mattresses and pillows should be replaced. They are old. The first night the toilet leaked, the flapper just needed to be cleaned. After calling the manager, nothing was done. Also, the A/C downstairs did not work. Again, call to manager and we had to fix it ourselves. The dishwasher did not work. After working on it for about three hours we got it to work. The ad said you had cable TV. It is Apple TV. The hot tub was repaired on second to last day. The neighbors dogs used the yard as their bathroom. The manager did not provide adequate attention to our issues.
We would not recommend this place. Oh yes, one of the washing machines does not dispense soap.

Excellent family house
This house is perfect for extended families. Downstairs there is almost a small apartment for anyone with small children. There are sufficient bedrooms for at least ten people.
The amazing wrap around deck offers beautiful views of the ocean.
There are so many amminities in this house I can’t begin to list them.

Perfect for our needs
This was a great, easy stay for our extended family vacation. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The house was conveniently located close to beaches, restaurants, and other stores. We loved the outdoor dining/deck area. We had a little trouble getting the television and dvds to work but we didn’t spend much time indoors for that to be an issue. Overall, a really fine stay.

Awesome House and Location
15 min drive from the Airport-easy access off the main road.
The house is properly maintained and very clean.
We have 3 families spending vacation…
And we never felt cramped even with 8 adults and 2 babies inside the house at any point.
We found our permanent vacation home when ever we are going to Maui.

Very comfortable home.
Convenient location if you plan on driving everywhere. too far from beach or stores to walk and biking to them is hilly. Nice hot tub and cool porch with large table for meals. It would have been nice to have more games puzzles boggie boards or items for outside lawn fun. Cable tv was deficient but I believe it’s being replaced. We did have small ants in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom but insect spray took care of the issue.
All in all it was a very livable house with many positives.

Quiet home with a great view
In a quiet residential neighborhood so you can really enjoy relaxing, taking in the ocean views and watching the birds without the hustle and bustle. Easy to get to beaches, stores, etc. Lovely backyard and spa. We want to rent it again!!

As mentioned in the title, real convenient place to crash for the night - definitely a “professional rental property” everything was dialed in, including the processes for rentals. Which worked out perfect for our family.

Great Outdoor Living
We had a wonderful stay in
Kihei. The house was very accommodating for all of us. We had a large family group and the space worked great. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The location to our favorite beach was fantastic. My only recommendation would be to have more furniture in the living room. One couch and a lounge chair was not nearly enough to seat everyone, however, the bed were amazingly comfortable. Thank you for the great rental experience. You guys were awesome to work with.

A vacation in paradise
We rented this house because we needed the space for our family to stay for our sons wedding. All in all the house was wonderful. Our only issue was having to be inside by 9. We would loved to have enjoyed more time on the great deck after 9 pm. Otherwise the house served our needs perfectly!

Excellent, much needed getaway
Daryl’s house was a fantastic accommodation for our group of 8. Location is in a nice quiet residential area, a quick 7-10min walk from the beach. Downtown is a really short drive to everything you need.
The house came with more than enough beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc to please any crowd. The 2 laundry machines and two fridges also came in quite handy and the ping pong table in the garage definitely saw some action after a few drinks at night.
The house was very clean with every appliance you could need in the kitchen. Another nice plus was Cutco knives (which I really appreciate quality, sharp knives). Daryl was nice enough to bring buy a new coffee grinder after I told him the one at the house was not working.
We really enjoyed our stay at Daryl’s home and look forward to the next time we can come back and visit again!

Daryl’s house was a fantastic accommodation for our group of 8. Location is in a nice quiet residential area, a quick 7-10min walk from the beach. Downtown is a really short drive to everything you need. The house came with more than enough beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc to please any crowd. The 2 laundry machines and two fridges also came in quite handy and the ping pong table in the garage definitely saw some action after a few drinks at night. Wonderful and inviting place to stay
The house was lovely and so nicely furnished plus bigger than we expected. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped, and grilling and eating on the deck was fabulous. Even though it is away from the beach, we could see the sun set on the ocean from the deck. There were 11 of us, including 4 kids under the age of 5, and the house had ample space for all. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Great Hawaii getaway!
A great location for seeing Maui and enjoying all the island has to offer. Many ammenities for enjoying your stay are on the property including a great deck and grill, hot tub and even beach supplies and bicycles! A spacious house with full kitchen and generous bedroom space. Daryl was always within reach for any questions and checking and checkout were very smooth. We would recommend this property!
