Enjoy a nice quiet evening walking a short distance to great restaurant/bars and ice cream/popcorn/candy shops in downtown Valparaiso. Or pick up a game at the Valparaiso University ARC and come back and kick back and relax! 3 bedroom fully furnished home, with outside patio and grill, big backyard with fire pit, with ample parking. WiFi Internet, and several TVs make relaxing here easy. Bring the whole family! Going to South Bend IN? Or Chicago? Stay here! We are an hour away from all of the traffic! No pets.

We loved the great location with the park across the street and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance! The house was very spacious with a great basement living area and lots of games! The outdoor living space and HUGE fenced in yard was a big hit for our group! We also enjoyed all the amenities for our two toddlers-strollers, high chair, toys, etc… Host was very communicative and even left a delicious bread for us 😋

My best friend and I set up shop with our games and had a weekend of moseying around downtown and playing games like we had years ago. The house was as advertised and we were able to walk everywhere. Julie, the host, was very accommodating and kind.

This was the perfect home for us while we were in town for our son’s commencement weekend at Valparaiso University! It was about a ten minute walk to the ARC, and it was really nice to be so close to campus—he and his friends could easily stop in between events and have dinner with us. There were lots of games in the basement closet for guests, as well. Our host, Julie, was wonderful and left us a sweet treat and a note of congratulations, too. So very thoughtful. All around a wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for our family gathering in preparation for a wedding. It had everything we needed and is walking distance to the college and downtown area. Julie is an excellent host and great communicator. The house was comfy and clean and has a large backyard. We really enjoyed our visit

Our stay was very nice. The house was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoor patio space which made it nice to entertain family while we were in town. Julie brought us a homemade spice bread the day we arrived, was very good. Would definitely stay there again!

The house has everything you need for a stay and is clean, well-lit and well cared for. Communication was very good and I definitely recommend this property, especially if you need to do something on campus at Valpo. The walk to campus was very convenient for us.

Great place to stay for a weekend

This is a very well kept place. Perfect for pets although we don’t have one. There are many beds and the rooms are very clean. There is a large fenced in backyard for a dog run and a nice outdoor patio area. Make sure you bring an hdmi cable or the like if you want to use the televisions, they aren’t smart TVs. But we loved this place

My friends and I stayed here for homecoming. It was within easy walking distance of the campus. There was plenty of room upstairs and a huge basement downstairs. We enjoyed the outdoor space especially the covered patio area when it was raining. Julie was easy to work with. We would definitely rent from her again.

Julie's place was excellent. Plenty of space to spread out (we didn't even use the downstairs space!) and gorgeous outdoor area. We spent most of our time at the beach and eating out, but we should have spent more time simply relaxing on the porch. My kids loved the chalk and decorating her porch with pictures. I loved the extras including an amazing piece on zucchini bread, booster seat, gate for the stairs, etc. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for our high school reunion. Great safe location, just 2 blocks from downtown Valpo which has great restaurants and boutiques. The house was very clean and Julie is a great communicator. There is plenty of space inside and outside.

This was our first time doing a VRBO, and I was a bit nervous. We are a family of 4 with two little kids. We were pleasantly pleased with our stay! The house was clean and very welcoming. We had plenty of space and we slept so much better than if we were in a hotel. Julie was kind and very nice to work with and the house was very convenient to where we needed to be. It worked our perfectly for us. Thanks, Julie!

We had a wonderful stay at Annie’s, the house was very clean and had everything we could need for our trip. We loved the water pressure and reverse osmosis water. It was so convenient to walk to downtown valpo and the kids loved the park right next door. Julie was a fantastic host and very helpful. Definitely recommend it!

House was everything we wanted and more❤ We had a blast having fires and relaxing in hot tub and playing games. It was close enough to beaches and the ball park my daughters team played at and WELL STOCKED. We can't wait to stay again

This is one of the best properties we have stayed in! The house is clean and so easy to find everything! Walking distance to so many cool places. Julie met us and showed us the house (and she is an amazing baker!) My only regret is that we didn't plan an extra day just to explore the area. We are already talking about coming back!

Family of 7 including 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. Annie’s Place was absolutely perfect for our needs. Julie was super nice and extremely helpful! The house had everything you could possibly need including all the kitchen equipment, towels and beach towels, bathroom supplies etc and the fenced in yard was great for our 2 labs. 20-25 mins to the beach. Our teenagers spent a lot of time in the evenings playing poker out of the very well stocked games closet. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Good central location. Well equipped. Trains run all night nearby. This was challenging for light sleeper. Owner was good communicator and info was well organized.
