About this cabin rental
This beautiful 5000 square-foot log home is nestled on 10 acres of forest. Every room has a unique style, natural wood scents and is inviting you to share with friends and family the feeling of warm and cozy. This little piece of heaven is 5 mins. to historical Honesdale, known for the Stourbridge Train rides, 5 mins to the Himalayan Institute, 25 mins. to Elk Mountain and 15 minutes to Lake Wallenpaupack.
Catering available, a great place to stay before the wedding.
What your stay includes: Complimentary coffee and powder cream, and snacks. The beds are made with fresh sheets and blankets, plenty of pillows, fresh towels in every bathroom, pool side towels, toiletries, soaps and shampoo are included. The garage is not accessible to guests, (it’s staff laundry area)
NOTE: The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day until mid-September every year and only between these dates.
There are 5 separate Private bedrooms with refrigerators and coffee makers, two have an en suite. One is a large bedroom with its own personal deck and en suite overlooking the pool.
2 other bedrooms have coffee makers, refrigerator and bistro tables, which share a full bathroom. There are 4 and 1/2 baths throughout the home. Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee in your own space.
Access to outdoor Living, in-ground pool and hot tub. Enjoy some steaks on the outdoor barbecue grill area.
10 acres of forest is below the house property. There are walking trails throughout the forest for your enjoyment.

The second week of August the Wayne county fair is going on, Close to Cherry Ridge campgrounds, 20 minute car ride to the Monastery, 4–5 minute ride to Himalayan Institute. Stourbridge Line train rides are a few minutes to downtown, Carousel waterpark and Dorflinger factory museum. Prompton state park, The historical Society, Escape room fun on Church street, 2 waterfalls in the area to view, The town of Hawley has shops, Lake Wallenpaupack with a variety of things to do on the lake. Flyfish the Delaware. Also rafting, kayaking canoeing and tubing – fishing on the Delaware river which is 25 minutes car ride. Also there are Guided FISHING TRIPS on the Delaware river! Ski areas are Montage mountain, Elk Mountain, Camel Back and Big Boulder
HOUSE RULES
• No smoking inside of the house. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground outside. There are ashtrays placed outside in different locations for your convenience.
• Before lighting fireplace make sure to open the damper. Place screen in front of fireplace while burning. Close glass doors before retiring for the evening. Do not attempt to clean the ashes as housekeeping takes care of this.
• If you burn the outside fire pit extinguish it before retiring for the evening or leaving the property
• Check out time is 11 AM unless otherwise approved.
• Before departure please load the dishwasher and clean the kitchen.
• Before departure please clean out the refrigerator and remove all food that is yours.
• Before departure please place the keys back.
• Place dirty towels in the tub, hot tub towels leave by washer downstairs.
• Please leave the bedding on the beds, housekeeping will take care of this.
• Before departure please place all garbage in the garage. Recycle and garbage by the pool as well. If you have five bags of garbage please contact the owner Bonny has for you may set it outside and she will take it away for you. That way there is no clutter and no smell.
• Please turn off all lights and turn the heat down to 60 before departure.
• Please respect our home and treat it as your own. Any damages and/or extra cleaning expenses will be deducted from your security deposit.

Extended weekend, guys getaway. The pictures on the site do not do this property justice. Its Beautiful. The home is comfortable and spacious, inside and out. The kitchen is loaded with cooking & dining needs. Nice touch to each bedroom with the coffee bar! We spent most of our time outdoors, pool/hot tub during the day and fire pit or the large pavilion at night. The host was there to greet us and was attentive & helpful with any needs. Great Job Bonny on making a fabulous retreat for others to enjoy! Can’t wait to return :)

The property worked perfectly for our needs. Most of the time at the property was spent at the wonderful outdoor area around the pool and pavilion. The house was spacious. Bonny was terrific and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

We stayed several days for a wedding with our son the groom and several of his groomsmen. The house is large and was great for hosting our group. For the size the house is very clean and has anything you need for cooking or enjoying your stay. The weather wasn’t great and we were gone a good bit but the hot tub was a hit and also the basement area which had 4-5 beds and pool table which was nice for the groomsmen not to mention the other 4 bedrooms. Plenty of space for all and is fully stocked with games. The host was great and always available to answer any questions and was very accommodating for our long weekend. Only thing is we wished we had more time at house to enjoy. If we are ever back in area would try to stay here again.

9 of us, friends for years, made our yearly November weekend together at this house. Mealtimes are always big for us so the big table was wonderful with lots of space to move around. The kitchen might look small but very usable and had most items needed. You might need to look around to find what you are looking for including the second kitchen downstairs. Good space, light, room size and bathrooms. People loved the coffee in the bedrooms. There are a couple of high beds that could be a struggle for shorter people, step stools definitely needed. As stated in house information the stairs don't have railing, but with where the walls are etc. we were able to navigate them. The early morning views of deer and mink were a highlight. The Bonny was wonderful, quick to respond and very helpful. All the outside spaces etc look inviting for summertime fun. If you need a lot of space this is the place.

Very spacious and comfortable home. Great host. Where modern meets rustic. Pefect for Easter getaway with our family. The property allowed us to be together or have quiet time alone. Enjoyed the grill and nice sitting areas outside.

Adults and a baby with plenty of space. We had a blast. All of us ate dinner together and played games and pool. We went in Hot tub and had fires indoor and out. Bonnie was so helpful and there were so many like thoughtful extras. I recomendable this place so very much.

Bonny is a fabulous host. She anticipated any needs we might have and was readily available for any questions. The house was well stocked and absolutely beautiful. It fit our group of 12 very comfortably and could have easily had room for more. We would all love to return for another ski trip next year, but the house seems perfect for a summer getaway as well. We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home in the woods! We watched the deer each morning and enjoyed the hot tub every night. There were 8 of us (4 parents and 4 teenage kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids could stay up late on the lower level without disturbing the grown-ups on the first and second levels. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, and there was plenty of dining space. We liked how close we were to the town and other attractions.
Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would love to come back to this home to enjoy the area in the summer!

Our family had a great week. The house was very nice and Bonny provided many extras. The outdoor area with the pool and pavilion was perfect to spend the days. The kids loved the playhouse. Bonny was very friendly and responsive.

It was Heaven! Really loved the pool & the outside area with the TV. It was used every day & night. Plenty of room for three families for privacy & togetherness. Bonny was a super host.

This house was excellent for our family of 10. We had plenty of very comfortable space indoors and out by the pool / hot tub and pavilion. (equiped with an outside tv )
The outside kitchen / grill area was very convenient. We had the 2 grandparents in the bedroom on the main floor, the 4 parents upstairs (one bedroom was used as a quiet office space when needed) and the 4 grandchildren had the whole basement. Bonny our host was very responsive although we did not have any issues during the week. She left snack baskets on each floor.
There were multiple refrigerators for our use and each bedroom had a smaller refrigerator and Keurig area.
It was a true space of rest and relaxation . Great place.

Heaven indeed!
This property had everything a group could need from chef’s kitchen appliances to outdoor accommodations with pool floats, corn hole, Jenga and a fire pit. We enjoyed the poker table, billiards, and the outdoor hammocks as well as the heated pool and hot tub. All linens were provided and the house was very clean. The owner was very accommodating to every request.

Great retreat
We had a great time and Bonny was a gracious host. She was responsive to questions and took us on a tour upon our arrival. The house is secluded in the woods with a large comfortable outdoor pool area. There are several suites where couples or families can have privacy but still plenty of common areas for activities. It is thoughtfully decorated with many games for rainy days.

Excellent poconos getaway
Came up here with some other friends for the 4th. This house is clean, comfortable, with a great pool and hottub, excellent kitchen facilities to cook for a big group, and lots of place for the entire group or smaller groups to hang out. Couldn't have been happier to call this place home for a weekend!

Amazing stay here. Inside and outside were both very well arranged with games and other fun surprises in each room. The property had everything we could ask for and more. AMAZING, PERFECT - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Bonny's place was absolutely fantastic!! We were only a family of four, but easily could have had another family join us because of the size and layout of the house. The house was very clean and spacious, extremely comfortable and there was plenty to do, both inside (games, pool table, fireplace, etc.) and outside (hammock, playhouse, firepit, etc.) Bonny was a great host who accommodated our check-in request and offered some great local suggestions. We only stayed a few nights, but it was an AMAZING trip and hopefully we'll be able come back to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful, clean and spacious home with lots of charm and coziness!
We were lucky enough to land Bonny’s property for a quick, last minute ski trip to Elk. The home is gorgeous, serene and lovingly cared for. And it’s situated on Heaven Lane, which is quite fitting for the setting. There’s plenty of space to spread out (we were a party of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids) and great little cozy nooks throughout the property. We found the home to be very clean, well stocked with coffee stations and snacks throughout, and the hot tub after a day on the slopes was divine. Bonny was pleasant, super easy to work with, and truly cares about ensuring you enjoy your stay. We highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit!

Bonny was a great host and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The home was perfect for our group, which consisted of several families all with young kids, and Bonny's attentiveness and flexibility was much appreciated.

Very Comfortable
My family came together fir the weekend to go skiing. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or hang together. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, the grill, the games and especially the deer. It was such a homey feeling being here and we had everything we needed to cook in. We would definitely go back and stay here.
