About this house rental
This 5 bedroom 5 bath home is truly amazing. Wrap around deck gives 200 degree views. Hot tub has the best lake views. Spacious living room features vaulted ceilings and tremendous water views. All 5 bedrooms are spacious recently remodeled with no expense spared and stunning water views. Dining seating availble for 20 inside/outside combined. Each room has own temperature controls and has a smart flat screen television. The bunkroom also has a Playstation. The Margaritaville Resort location is close to shops, docks, beach and restaurants. The stars at night are truly spectacular especially from new hot tub! Further, Margaritaville Resort provides nightly fireworks displays of which you can see from the deck of Maison. The home will accommodate a large group comfortably. Owner will try to accommodate special requests. Plenty of parking. Boat rentals available for rent at Margaritaville marina. Everything was as expected. The house was large enough to comfortably sleep large numbers of guests. The only complaint is that the deck railing should be better secured.

I've never written a review before. Here's my first: this place was was horrible. The dishwasher was completely broken and the rules state we are to load the dishwasher. It remains to be seen if extra charges will apply.
The dryer was broke and they acknowledged this with a note on the dryer after we arrived. We had no access to laundry for the five (5) day stay.
There was no toiletries other than toilet paper. We had no soap.
The windows were broken, the sliding glass doors as well as screen doors did not work.
The outdoor patio had 2' high weeds everywhere where we all got chiggars just to walk outside and consider outdoor seating and use of a fire pit.
Worst of all, there were ants all over the property. This was a constant problem as they were everywhere, all over anything including ourselves.

Overall it was quite nice. Housed our 7 children and their families comfortably with the exception to the queen bed on the loft. It was too open for any privacy. Also the jet tub associated with that bathroom did not fill with enough hot water to test it. There was only one reliable door to the main deck and the hot tub was dirty. The dishwasher and outdoor grill did not work

The porch was amazing in its view of the lake. The room sizes were adequate and the bathrooms were clean. The kids really enjoyed their own room. Housekeeping could do a better job dusting and the floors could be cleaner. I had to dust the living room vent since it was filthy. Loved the hot tub and firepit but had to weed in order to use it. The dryer did not heat up so one could not dry any wash, top rack of the dishwasher was broken, the window in the kitchen was cracked, the lounge chairs backs were broken so one could not sit back on them, the light in the frig needed to be changed.

The house was spacious! The view from the deck was great! And sunsets were beautiful. We wanted to use the firepit but it was rusted out. Host was very accommodating. She sent over a new one immediately, which was very nice. However there were so many weeds in the area that we had to clear a path to use it. The house does need deep cleaning. Issues that were reported last year in the comments were never taken care of. Loose railings on the deck, broken deck chairs, sliding glass doors don’t slide, and they do have mold in the tracks. The TVs and Wi-Fi didn’t work properly. With a little TLC, this place would be awesome!

The place is ran down needs some maintenance.They advertise a hot tub but it was dirty,the grass area around it hadn’t been mowed the fire pit was rusted through so you could not use it one of the sliding doors leaked water when it rained and looked like it had black mold in the track the lights in the living area blinked off and on like there was a short in the system there were cob webs on the ceiling it was spacious enough and we liked the layout just needs to have some upkeep

Phenomenal place. The only issue I have is that we didn’t stay for more than one night. I would love to come back here. The check-in process was extremely simple and straightforward. My counterpart was accommodating and responsive. Everything went well.

We were looking for a location for a long weekend getaway with our kids and grandkids to celebrate a family birthday. The size and layout of this property was the ideal accommodations for our needs. I would agree with other reviews that there are some maintenance items and a few hazards with the deck and railings that need addressing by the owners, but it was below zero temperatures and/or snowing for much of our stay, so we mainly were inside.
The kitchen was well stocked with tableware, cookware, appliances and gadgets - more than I had anticipated, so we enjoyed cooking together during our time here. Beds/mattresses were a bit soft for my and my husband’s liking, but the sheets were high thread count and nice!
View of the lake is spectacular and visible from several of the bedrooms, which also have deck/balconies (which didn’t use due to weather).
Overall, this was a pleasant trip and great location for our gathering.

Stay was excellent and lake views were outstanding, especially at sundown. It would have been helpful if the property description indicated that the 5th bedroom is actually a sleeping loft, and you have to go down a flight of stairs to access the 5th bathroom.

Stayed with my wife and friends on the weekend we got married.
Pros: The house had plenty of room and is in a great location. No lake access, but very nice views. There was plenty of silverware, cups, plates etc, and coffee makers. Nice hot tub.
Cons: One of the people in my party is a house inspector, and he said this place has been used and abused. The house had lots of spiderwebs in the bunk room. The railing on the back deck is loose and dangerous. All of the TVs are old and not worth watching. The house looks great at a distance, but up close there are lots of imperfections and isn't nearly as nice as the pictures on VRBO show. I wouldn't return as I did not find the house worth the price per night.

The location was perfect! The view from the deck was amazing! The house itself I'm sure was a rock star back in the day! I loved the big spacious rooms along with all of the windows viewing the lake. The kitchen was equipped with lots of everything. The house was in need of a deep cleaning and some real maintenance work. The sliding class doors had standing water in the railing along with black mold. There were windows that were lined with what appeared to be packing tap. The hard wood floors were great but all of the bedrooms were carpet that had to be the original carpet from when it was built. The bunk room smelled like dogs and kids and the upstairs master room smelled like smoke. The hot tub and fire pit area was full of weeds so we didn't use it. We had to take apart the girl to clean and put it back together to use. The handle is broke so be careful with that. I don't normally complain but there was so much that was hard to overlook with the money we paid. All in all we had a great time but would have had a better time if we would have gotten what we paid for.

We were misdirected about the shuttle service to and from the Margaritaville resort and Marina, but we were able to drive our own vehicles to and from to compensate. Our property owner was responsive and updated the changed swimming pool codes when we discovered the error. The house would benefit from a deep cleaning. Under beds, furniture, and throw rugs were dusty. Lightfixtures, inside cabinets, and closets were grimy. Surfaces and service ware were clean. We used our own disinfectant and air fresheners to improve our comfort level and meet our personal cleanliness standards. Linens were insuffient for our 12 adult guests, but the owner had additional linens sent over.

We came to celebrate both of our kids’ 21st and 25th birthdays with friends and family. It was perfect location, wonderful view, and accommodating to all of us! Had pretty much everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinners. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub and the closeness of Landshark Pool/Bar.
Only real issue was ice maker didn’t work and we only had 4 ice cube trays so we had to but a bag of ice. Also ANTS!! We had to make sure everything was off the counter, food wise, other wise they would have been in everything. We found some spray but that didn’t keep them coming. We grilled out one night and have to say that the grill has been used well. Broken handle and lots of caked on stuff.
Over all it was a good weekend. Definitely needs a deep cleaning and not just a surface clean after each use.

Beautiful home! Juleen always replied to questions we had. However the rental wasnt quite as described. We planned family dinners around meals to prepare on the grill. The grill wasn't in the best condition. The handle was broken and the grill only worked on low or high. We also ran out of paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. We had 13 people staying for 5 days. Also we were told we would have all of the amenities of Margarativille. When inquiring about a boat slip at Margarativille they told us that was only available for renters at Margarativille. Same with the shuttle service for the pools. We never did see a shuttle at all but again that was for renters at Margarativille. Some of the patio furniture was broken, a patio table was very wobbly and there was a broken window in the living room. There were loose boards around the hot tub and posts on the railings that fell off. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but for the price, the house could use a little love.

This house was perfect in so many ways. The size of the house and the view were extraordinary. That made up for little maintenance problems along the way. The coffee maker did not work and that was a priority for our group. At least the owner tried to solve the problem immediately. Some hair dryers didn’t work but we managed since some people had brought their own. There were some ants but we just kept our food contained. There were so broken things like a cabinet door and a few other things but like I said, the size of the house and the view were so great that we could overlook the maintenance problems.

We had four families with a total of eight kids ages 2 to 16 that comfortably stayed in this home. The location is close to the state parks and has easy access to a community pool. We had a wonderful time and the view of the lake was breathtaking.

The property is amazing with plentiful parking and lodging. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very open. There was not much we needed from the owner but when we did need something, the owner was quick to respond and very helpful!

The property didn’t disappoint. Lovely! Spent days out on the water but our evenings were spent on the patio. Great scenery! Early morning on the patio drinking coffee watching boats and jet skies going by.

Awesome time on the lake!
We had a great family vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks! This house slept our big group of 12 wonderfully. With three King bedrooms, all the adults were very comfortable. The bunk room was perfect for the younger kids and the loft worked out fantastic for our older kid. The amenities (wifi, TVs, streaming services, gas grill, hot tub, access to the Margaritaville pools, jet skis, and boat rental) were also great. The view is awesome! Our host, Julene, was very helpful and responsive as well. My only critiques are that the cleaning crew could spend just a little more time between guests, and the closest pool isn't "steps away" from the house as the add says (it's a pretty good hike). We ended up loading everybody up and driving to the pool. It was way too far for the kids. Overall, the house worked out extremely well for us, especially for the price! Thanks Julene!

Great space for large group
The house comfortably fit 18 of us (ages 6-40+). Beds were comfortable and house stayed nice and cool. Check in was difficult for part of our party as the Owner never gave us the gate code for the GATED COMMUNITY (gates are locked between sunset & sunrise). Luckily, hubby stayed in the same gated community the weekend prior and knew both the codes for the gate and the community pool from his stay (different house). I have no idea what we would have done if he did not have that info. Be sure to specifically request these codes prior to your visit. The community pool was a nice, albeit chilly, surprise! Good location.

Girls Weekend Away
Great accommodations for our group of long time friends. Plenty of parking, beds and cutlery as wall as a very pretty view of the lake. Things to consider: there were ants in the kitchen and next time I will make sure to check lake scheduled events. We suffered through a few hours overlooking boat races with helicopters recording each run :( Others may like that kind of thing but it was very LOUD. Other than those few hours, it was a very relaxing get away.

Nice house with spacious nook and cranny bedrooms. Great place for 4 couples and the 5th bedroom is kid oriented. The only problem I had was there were some ants in the kitchen
