I liked it so much I booked straight for my comeback from the Bolaven loop

- comfortable beds!! - close to everything I needed while being there (local market for nice cheap food, the bike rentals, the temple to see next door) - quiet hostel in a quiet area

2 excellentes nuits, si vous vous levez vers 6h , tous les matins les moines passent devant l’hôtel pour leur rituel d’o

L’espace, l’accueil, ( il m’a ouvert à 6 h du matin), l’espace salon à l’étage est top.je le recommande

Les sanitaires pas très propres, pas à la hauteur de l’établissement, dommage .

Character, friendliness and generosity in a great location

Loved this place, with its super-friendly staff; heritage vibe; airy communal central area; good-sized, comfortable bed with socket and light; free towel use; free drinking water, instant hot drinks, bananas and other snacks; and excellent location.

The shower I had was cold. Could have been a one-off though: the weather was broiling so I didn't mind, and I didn't ask about it.

El hostel perfecte

El hostel es encantador, molt ampli, net i amb zones comunes molt agradables que conviden a compartir. El personal es jove, molt atent i simpatic i t ajuden en tot. Molt ben situat. Vaig arribar de matinada amb un bus des de Vientiane o em van atendre superbe.

Great hostel for a night or two

Clean hostel with comfy beds and well-adjusted AC.

No shampoo or soap was provided. The placement of the cloth hangers in the showers was conceived by an evil genius ;-)

Cheap place with mosquitos

The location is good, the value is decent and the staff were friendly.

There were mosquitos everywhere in the hostel, I was bitten multiple times in the dorm room at night and it kept me up all night. I messaged the hostel asking if they had a mosquito net and never received a response. I have read at least three other reviews which also complain about mosquitos, it seems like nothing is being done about the issue. The dorm rooms are 16 people with a shared wall for a room with another 16 people so it is noisy with other people going to bed late or waking up early (someone took a phone call in the room with no headphones at 6am). The bathrooms are very basic and not clean, they were too cheap to put toilet paper rolls in each stall so there is only a single toilet paper roll outside all three stalls. There is a smoking area by the windows in the only shared space which is not pleasant for people who do not like the smell of smoke. The pillow in my bed was very lumpy so I could only use one half of it.

The staff was lovely, and the location was great. The deco in the hostel is fantastic. Wifi was of great speed.

The cleanliness of this place is poor. I stayed 3 nights and mostly indoors as I had a conference to run. The cleaners sweep the floors but they dont change the blankets. They just ojd them nice lo y for the next customer to use, so you end up sleeping under the cover from god knows how many people. the toilet tissues lay around the toilet seats for 2 days, not being picked up. There was no toilet paper, no soap. Showers were dirty and need renovations. Beds ok. But not that comfy.

I had several mosquitoes in the common area as well as in the dorm, I had to sleep with mosquito-spray (maybe it is normal there but I think it is the first time I had this problem)

The staff is helpful but could speak a little bit better english.

Great value for money :)

Just opened back up post-Covid. Great facilities, comfy beds, nice bathrooms. Great value for money!

Staff English not great, so couldn’t really help us with recommendations. Also no breakfast available. Otherwise great!
